Backgro.nd: This study assessed the effect o. a nutritio. educatio. interventio.. This interventio. aimed to.impro.e the kno.ledge, attitudes, and practices o. mo.hers o. fo.d safety in the peri-urban areas o. Bo.o.Dio.lasso.in Burkina Faso. Metho.s: A to.al o. 243 mo.hers o. children under 5 years in the peri-urban o. Bo.o.Dio.lasso.were administered the FAo.questio.naire fo. fo.d safety kno.ledge, attitudes, and practices assessment during two.cro.s-sectio.al surveys, befo.e and after the interventio., in January and o.to.er 2017. The interventio. included two.co.po.ents co.sisting o. a theo.etical phase (co.nselling and discussio.) and co.king demo.stratio.s implemented fo. ten mo.ths. To.acco.nt fo. the befo.e-and-after design o. the study, the McNemar’s test was used to.assess the effect o. the interventio. o. fo.d safety KAP o. mo.hers o. children under 5 years. Results: The mean age o. mo.hers was 29 ± 6.2 years and 50.6% o. them were between 20 and 29 years o.d. o.e fo. kno.ledge (co.king tho.o.ghly with, p-value = 0.0001) and ano.her fo. attitudes (perceived benefits o. reheating lefto.ers befo.e eating them, p-value = 0.0001), significantly increased after the interventio.. In terms o. fo.d safety practices, all the indicato.s (cleaning o. dirty surfaces, plates and utensils and sto.age o. perishable fo.ds) significantly increased (all p = 0.0001 Co.clusio.: This study pro.ided so.e evidence o. an effective nutritio. educatio. interventio. fo. impro.ing maternal KAP o. fo.d safety fo. their child’s feeding.

Spo.t and Health *** article started an impo.tant discussio. abo.t a physical activity(PA)pro.o.io. appro.ch that enco.rages the use o. affective experience to.PA *** we agree with the autho.s’po.nt o. view and believe that its message can generate an impo.tant insight fo. PA pro.o.io.,the autho.s presented a scenario.where behavio. change seems to.be exclusively dependent o. the *** the existence o. o.her barriers to.an active lifestyle(e.g.,so.ial inequalities)co.ld enhance the autho.s’suggested appro.ch because many peo.le live in co.ditio.s that reduce their o.po.tunities to.engage in affective experiences related to.PA;furthermo.e,affective experiences can vary depending o. individual co.text.
