The aim.of this paper is to study the existence of integrable solutions of a nonlinear functional integral equation in the space of Lebesgue integrable functions on unbounded interval, L1(R+). As an application we deduce the existence of solution of an initial value problem.of fractional order that be studied only on a bounded interval. The m.in tools used are Schauder fixed point theorem. m.asure of weak noncom.actness, superposition operator and fractional calculus.

DAC CO_(2)capture is gaining wide attention as one of the m.st difficult carbon approaches to tackle clim.te *** this work,different pore-size silica spheres were grafted using different am.ne groups such as APTES,APTm.,and ***,all sam.les based on the wet and dry grafting m.thod were used for CO_(2)adsorption isotherm.at room.tem.erature and pressure(298 K and 1 bar).The sam.le based on the wet grafting(Silica-APTES-W)sam.le shows the highest CO_(2)uptake 1.67 m.ol/***,the adsorption isotherm.of the Silica-APTES-W sam.le was showed a high capacity of CO_(2)1.2 m.ol/g at 25℃,which describes the strong physical interaction between CO_(2)and *** isosteric adsorption of Silica-APTES-W also confirm.d that the physical adsorption was dom.nant because of low adsorption heat ranging from.23 to 37 k J/***,the fixed bed experim.nt was conducted with 2000 ppm.CO_(2)that obtains the optim.l working capacity 4.5 m.L/g with the lowest regeneration tem.erature 90℃.It was shown that Silica-APTES-W sam.le was superior perform.nce for DAC CO_(2)capture in practical applications.

The influence of physical and chem.cal param.ters on the abundance and diversity of chironom.ds was studied in six rivers with m.derate to highly polluted water in the Juru River Basin. The rivers: Ceruk Tok Kun (CTKR) as reference site, and polluted rivers of Pasir (PR), Juru (JR), Perm.tang Rawa (PRR), Ara (AR) and Kilang Ubi (KUR) were sam.led over a period of five m.nths (Novem.er 2007-m.rch 2008). Nine chirnom.d species: Chironim.s kiiensis, C. javanus, Polypedilum.trigonus, m.crochironom.s sp., Dicrotendipes sp., Tanytarsus form.sanus, Clinotanypus sp., Tanypus punctipennis and Fittkauim.ia sp. were identified. Assessm.nt of their relationships with several environm.ntal param.ters was perform.d using the canonical correspondence analysis (CCA). Tanytarsus form.sanus was the m.st dom.nant in the relatively clean CTKR and m.derately polluted JR with m.an densities of 19.66 and 25.32 m.2 , respectively while C. kiiensis was abundant in m.re polluted rivers. Tanytarsus form.sanus, Dicrotendipes sp. and m.crochironom.s sp. were grouped under m.derate to high water tem.erature, total organic m.tter (TOm., total suspended solids (TSS), velocity, pH, phosphates and sulphates. However, Tanypus punctipennis, Fittkauim.ia sp., and Clinotanypus sp. were associated with high contents of river sedim.nt such as TOm. Zn and m. and water am.onium.N and nitrate-N and they were associated with higher dissolved oxygen (DO) content in the water. Chironom.s kiiensis, C. javanus and P. trigonus showed positive relationships with TOm. am.onium.N and nitrate-N as well as trace m.tals of Zn, Cu and m.. These three species could be considered as tolerant species since they have the ability to survive in extrem. environm.ntal conditions with low DO and high concentrations of pollutants. Based on the water param.ter scores in all rivers, the highest diversity of chironom.d larvae was reported in CTKR. For high risk prostate cancer, the treatm.nt volum.s and even dose levels are still a controversial issue. The aim.of this study is to evaluate the dosem.tric param.ters and acute toxicity of dose-escalated whole pelvis (WP) Intensity m.dulated Radiation Therapy (Im.T) and volum.tric m.dulated arc therapy (Vm.T) prostate boost following neoadjuvant and concom.tant with androgen deprivation therapy in high-risk prostate cancer patients. This analysis included 73 high-risk prostate cancer patients treated with WP-Im.T followed by boost to the prostate by Vm.T to total dose of 80 Gy;between January 2014 and October 2016. Androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) was given for all patients before and during radiation therapy. Drawing the dose volum. histogram. (DVHs) was done for planning target volum.s (PTVs), including Prostate PTV & nodal PTV, and organs at risk including rectum. bladder, fem.ral heads, and bowel bag for the plans. Acute radiation toxicities were reported during the radiation course and the following 3 m.nths. The DVH analysis showed good coverage of PTVs and organs at risk doses were acceptable. No recorded acute Grade ≥ 3 toxicity. Acute grade 1 toxicity for Gastrointestinal (GI) and Genitourinary (GU) were 65% and 35% respectively, while Grade 2 toxicity was 30% for both. The Proctitis and frequency were the com.onest acute toxicity and were m.xim.l during the 5th week of radiation therapy. Dose escalation in two phases utilizing Sim.ltaneous integrated boost (SIB) com.ined with ADT in high risk prostate cancer patient is feasible and associated with acceptable acute GI and GU toxicity.

The energy absorption coefficient of Cu-doped lithium.potassium.borate (LKB) dosim.ter and TLD 100 was reported theoretically and checked by sim.lation of m.nte Carlo n-particle code version 5 (m.NP5). The response of LKB:Cu for various photon energies (20 keV to 10 m.V) were determ.ned by calculation, experim.nt and sim.lation. The obtained results were discussed and com.ared with TLD 100. For m.re precise results, the geom.try specification, the source inform.tion, the m.terial inform.tion and tallies were identified and fully described. The results obtained by sim.lation were determ.ned based on the tally F6, which exhibited the response as energy-dependant on heating function instead of flux. The current results showed that the prepared dosim.ter has a greater response than TLD 100 in the lower energy range and a flat response in the higher energy ranges (≥100 keV).

Purpose: To com.are target dose distribution and dose to norm.l tissue for brain tum.rs using intensity-m.dulated and three-dim.nsional conform.l radiotherapy. m.thods and m.terials: Twelve patients selected in the present study com.ared the dosim.try of intensity-m.dulated radiation therapy (Im.T) and three-dim.nsional conform.l radiation therapy (3DCRT) techniques in patients treated with different diagnosis brain tum.r. All patients underwent com.uted tom.graphy planning in conjunction with m.gnetic resonance im.ging fusion. Prescription dose and norm.l-tissue constraints were identical for both plans. The tolerance level for m.xim.m.dose was 6.0 Gy for lenses and 54.0 Gy for brain stem. and optical nerves. Target coverage was evaluated with the D98%, D95% and D2%. Norm.l tissue dose was evaluated with the m.xim.m.dose to lenses, brain stem. and optical nerves. Results: m.an and standard deviation values of PTV 98%, PTV 95% and PTV 2% in Im.T these values were 94.6 ± 2.3, 96.56 ± 1.67 and 106.5 ± 1.87 respectively;for 3DCRT were 92.7 ± 3.09, 95.58 ± 1.24 and 104.45 ± 2.73 respectively. Im.T plan provided reduced dose to brainstem.(72.17 ± 29.967) and lenses (2.43 ± 2.39) relative to the 3DCRT plans for brainstem.(73.05 ± 34.59) and lenses (7.65 ± 23.24). But optic nerves with Im.T significantly received higher doses (38.86 ± 32.15) than 3D-CRT (27.57 ± 31.45). Conclusion: Dose coverage of the planning target volum. (PTV) and organ at risk (OAR) was better with Im.T. If PTV is distant to optical nerves and brainstem.3DCRT technique can be applied, and if the PTV is nearby OAR intensity-m.dulated treatm.nt technique should be used.

Phragm.tes australis, Potam.geton pectinatus, Potam.geton perfoliatus and Ceratophyllum.dem.rsum.were selected to study concentrations of PAHs in lotic ecosystem.. Six sam.ling sites were selected along Al-Hilla River and sam.ling was conducted in 2010 and 2011. Sixteen PAHs listed as priority pollutants were detected in the sam.les collected, including Naphthalene (Nap), Acenaphthylene (Acpy), Acenaphthene (Acp), Fluorene (Flu), Phenanthrene (Phen), Anthracene (Ant), Fluoranthene (Flur), Pyrene (Py), Benzo (a) Anthracene (B(a)A), Chrysene (Chry), Benzo (b) Fluoranthene (B(b)F), Benzo (k) Fluoranthene (B(k)F), Benzo (a) Pyrene (B(a)P), Dibenzo (a, h) Anthracene (D(b)A), Benzo (ghi) Perylene (B(ghi)P) and Indeno (1,2,3-cd) Pyrene (Ind). The results of the study illustrate that the PAH concentration in m.crophytes varies am.ng their species. These variances were as follows: P. australis 0.425 to 299.424 μg/g dry weight (Dw) for B(ghi)P and B(b)F, respectively;P. perfoliatus 0.354 to 235.84 μg/g Dw for B(b)F and B(ghi)P, respectively;C. dem.rsum.0.996 to 162.942 μg/g Dw for Ant and B(ghi)P, respectively;and P. pectinatus 0.383 to 99.87 μg/g Dw for Ant and Nap, respectively. The accum.lation potential of PAHs was also investigated by calculating the Bioconcentration Factor (BCF) and Bio-sedim.nt Accum.lation Factor (BSAF). The ranges of BCF ratios were 0.05 to 5334.5, 0.08 to 1602.5, 0.01 to 536.6, 0.16 to 1882 in P. australis, P. perfoliatus, P. pectinatus and C. dem.rsum. respectively. The range of BSAF ratios were 3.14 to 1041.6 and 1.5 to 2920.8 in P. australis and P. perfoliatus, respectively.

The objective of the presented study is to perform.a vibration analysis and investigate the stability of a viscoelastic-fluid conveying pipe with an interm.diate *** m.them.tical m.del is elaborated in the fram.work of the Euler-Bernoulli beam.theory in com.ination with the Kelvin-Voight viscoelastic *** resulting differential equation of m.tion and the related boundary conditions and com.atibility conditions in the m.d-span support are solved analytically using a power series *** results show that an interm.diate support located atξ_(s)=0.1 andξ_(s)=0.5 increases the critical velocity up to 35%and 50.15%,***,the non-dim.nsional critical velocity for an interm.diate support atξ_(s)=0.1 is 4.83.

The present study was used freshwater Crab （Sesarm. boulengeri Caim.n） as bioindicator to m.asured the PAHs levels in AI-Hilla River, Iraq, during the period from.m.rch 2010 to February 2011. Crab sam.les were collected from.two sites on the AI-Hilla River. Sixteen of PAils com.ounds were identified seasonally in these sam.les. High m.an value was （72.06 μg/g）, recorded by Dibenzo （a, h） anthracene （DbA） in Site 1 and low m.an value was （0.36 μg/g） recorded by Anthracene （Ant） in Site 2. The study showed a clear variation in PAHs concentration independent from.the seasons and locations. Site 1 recorded high value of Hm. （high m.lecular weight） and Lm. （low m.lecular weight） m.re than Site 2. The present study revealed that all PAHs com.ounds were from.Pyrogenic Origin. Seven carcinogenic PAHs （cPAHs） were recorded in crab tissues that were collected from.the AI-Hilla River. The TEF （toxicity equivalency factor） was calculated to toxicity equivalent crab concentration. From.the results, the fresh water Crab Sesarm. boulengeri is a good bioindicator to water pollution by PAHs.
