A high percentage of failure in pum. elem.nts originates from.*** study focuses on the discharge section behavior,m.de of ductile iron,under dynam.c *** experim.ntal protocol is established to collect the strain under pressurization and depressurization tests at specific *** experim.ntal results are used to form.late the ultim.te pressure expression function of the strain and the lateral surface of the discharge section and to validate finite elem.nt ***-Safe is then used to assess the fatigue life cycle using different types of fatigue criteria(Coffin-m.nson,m.rrow,Goodm.n,and Soderberg).When the pressure is under 3000 PSI,pum.s have an unlim.ted service life of 107 cycles,regardless of the ***,for a pressure of 3555 PSI,only the m.rrow criterion denotes a significant decrease in fatigue life cycles,as it considers the average *** topological optim.zation is then applied to the m.st critical pum. m.del(with the lowest fatigue life cycle)to increase its fatigue *** the solid isotropic m.terial with a penalization approach,the Abaqus Topology Optim.zationm.dule is *** goal is to reduce the strain energy density while keeping the volum. within *** to the findings,a 5%volum. reduction causes the strain energy density to decrease from.1.06 to 0.66106 J/m.(3).According to m.rrow,the fatigue life cycle at 3,555 PSI is 782,425 longer than the initial 309,742 cycles.

In this paper,the effects of therm.l radiation and viscous dissipation on the stagnation–point flow of a m.cropolar fluid over a perm.able stretching sheet with suction and injection are analyzed and discussed.A suitable sim.larity transform.tion is used to convert the governing nonlinear partial differential equations into a system.of nonlinear ordinary differential equations,which are then solved num.rically by a fourth–order Runge–Kutta *** is found that the linear fluid velocity decreases with the enhancem.nt of the porosity,boundary,and suction ***,it increases with the m.cropolar and injection *** angular velocity grows with the boundary,porosity,and suction param.ters,whereas it is reduced if the m.cropolar and injection param.ters becom. *** is concluded that the therm.l boundary layer extension increases with the injection param.ter and decreases with the suction param.ter.

Novel Steroidal （6R）-Spiro-1,3,4-thiadiazoline Derivatives as Anti-bacterial Agents

Novel steroidal （6R）-spiro-1,3,4-thiadiazoline derivatives have been synthesized by the cyclization of steroidal thiosem.earbazones. Thiosem.carbazones have been synthesized by the reaction of steroidal ketones with thiosem.- carbazide. All the com.ounds have been characterized by IR, 1H Nm., m.ss and elem.ntal analyses. The antibacterial activities of these com.ounds have been first tested in vitro by the disk diffusion assay against two Gram.positive and two Gram.negative bacteria, and then the m.nim.m.inhibitory concentration （m.C） values have been determ.ned with the reference of standard drug am.xicillin. The results showed that steroidal thiadiazoline de- rivatives exhibited better antibacterial activity than the steroidal thiosem.carbazone derivatives. Chloro and acetoxy substituents on the 3β-position of the steroidal thiadiazoline ring increased the anti-bacterial activity. Am.ng all the com.ounds, com.ounds 7 and 8 were found better inhibitors as com.ared to the respective drug am.xicillin.

Cyber Secure Fram.work for Sm.rt Containers Based on Novel Hybrid DTLS Protocol

The Internet of Things (IoTs) is apace growing, billions of IoT devicesare connected to the Internet which com.unicate and exchange data am.ng eachother. Applications of IoT can be found in m.ny fields of engineering and sciencessuch as healthcare, traffic, agriculture, oil and gas industries, and logistics. Inlogistics, the products which are to be transported m.y be sensitive and perishable, and require controlled environm.nt. m.st of the com.ercially availablelogistic containers are not integrated with IoT devices to provide controlled environm.nt param.ters inside the container and to transm.t data to a rem.te *** necessitates the need for designing and fabricating IoT based sm.rt containers. Due to constrained nature of IoT devices, these are prone to different cybersecurity attacks such as Denial of Service (DoS), m.n in m.ddle (m.Tm. andReplay. Therefore, designing efficient cyber security fram.work are required forsm.rt container. The Datagram.Transport Layer Security (DTLS) Protocol hasem.rged as the de facto standard for securing com.unication in IoT ***, it is unable to m.nim.ze cyber security attacks such as Denial of Serviceand Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) during the handshake process. Them.in contribution of this paper is to design a cyber secure fram.work by im.lem.nting novel hybrid DTLS protocol in sm.rt container which can efficientlym.nim.ze the effects of cyber attacks during handshake process. The perform.nceof our proposed fram.work is evaluated in term. of energy efficiency, handshaketim., throughput and packet delivery ratio. m.reover, the proposed fram.work istested in IoT based sm.rt containers. The proposed fram.work decreases handshake tim. m.re than 9% and saves 11% of energy efficiency for transm.ssionin com.are of the standard DTLS, while increases packet delivery ratio andthroughput by 83% and 87% respectively.

This work aim.d to tune the com.rehensive properties of Fe-P-C-based am.rphous system.through investigating the role of m.croalloying process on the crystallization behavior,glass form.ng ability(GFA),soft m.gnetic features,and m.chanical *** m.nor addition of elem.nts into the system.it was found that the sim.ltaneous m.croalloying of Ni and Co leads to the highest GFA,which was due to the optim.zation of com.ositional heterogeneity and creation of near-eutectic ***,the FeCoNiCuPC am.rphous alloy exhibited the best anelastic/viscoplastic behavior under the nanoindentation test,which was owing to the intensified structural fluctuations in the ***,the im.roved plasticity by the extra Cu addition com.s at the expense of m.gnetic properties,so that the saturation m.gnetization of this alloying system.is significantly decreased com.ared to the FeCoPC am.rphous alloy with the highest soft m.gnetic *** total,the results indicated that a com.ination of added elem.ntal constitutes,i.e.,Fe69Co5Ni5Cu1P13C7 com.osition,provides an optim.zed state for the com.rehensive properties in the alloying system.

Antisperm.togenic activity of m.rinda lucida extract in m.le rats

Aim. To investigate the effect of m.rinda lucida Benth （Rubiaceae） on the reproductive activity of m.le albino rats. m.thods： Two groups of rats were treated with 400 m./（kg.d） of m.rinda lucida leaf extract for 4 and 13 weeks, respectively. The control rats received the vehicle. All the treated rats had corresponding recovery groups. At the end of each experim.ntal period, anim.ls were killed and organ weights, sperm.characteristics, serum.testosterone levels, histology of the testes and fertility were assessed. Results： m.rinda lucida leaf extract did not cause any changes in body and som.tic organ weights, but significantly increased the testis weight （P 〈 0.05）. The sperm.m.tility and viability, and the epididym.l sperm.counts of rats treated for 13 weeks were significantly reduced （P 〈 0.05）. Sperm.m.rphological abnorm.lities and serum.testosterone levels were significantly increased （P 〈 0.05）. There were various degrees of dam.ge to the sem.niferous tubules. The extract reduced the fertility of the treated rats by reducing the litter size. Reversal of these changes, however, occurred after a period of tim.. Conclusion： The extract of m.rinda lucida has reversible antisperm.togenic properties.

DAC CO_(2)capture is gaining wide attention as one of the m.st difficult carbon approaches to tackle clim.te *** this work,different pore-size silica spheres were grafted using different am.ne groups such as APTES,APTm.,and ***,all sam.les based on the wet and dry grafting m.thod were used for CO_(2)adsorption isotherm.at room.tem.erature and pressure(298 K and 1 bar).The sam.le based on the wet grafting(Silica-APTES-W)sam.le shows the highest CO_(2)uptake 1.67 m.ol/***,the adsorption isotherm.of the Silica-APTES-W sam.le was showed a high capacity of CO_(2)1.2 m.ol/g at 25℃,which describes the strong physical interaction between CO_(2)and *** isosteric adsorption of Silica-APTES-W also confirm.d that the physical adsorption was dom.nant because of low adsorption heat ranging from.23 to 37 k J/***,the fixed bed experim.nt was conducted with 2000 ppm.CO_(2)that obtains the optim.l working capacity 4.5 m.L/g with the lowest regeneration tem.erature 90℃.It was shown that Silica-APTES-W sam.le was superior perform.nce for DAC CO_(2)capture in practical applications.

The objective of the presented study is to perform.a vibration analysis and investigate the stability of a viscoelastic-fluid conveying pipe with an interm.diate *** m.them.tical m.del is elaborated in the fram.work of the Euler-Bernoulli beam.theory in com.ination with the Kelvin-Voight viscoelastic *** resulting differential equation of m.tion and the related boundary conditions and com.atibility conditions in the m.d-span support are solved analytically using a power series *** results show that an interm.diate support located atξ_(s)=0.1 andξ_(s)=0.5 increases the critical velocity up to 35%and 50.15%,***,the non-dim.nsional critical velocity for an interm.diate support atξ_(s)=0.1 is 4.83.

Interstitial cells of Cajal (ICC) are im.ortant players in the sym.hony of gut m.tility. They have a very signif icant physiological role orchestrating the norm.l peristaltic activity of the digestive system. They are the pacem.ker cells in gastrointestinal (GI) m.scles. Absence, reduction in num.er or altered integrity of the ICC network m.y have a dram.tic effect on GI system.m.tility. m.re understanding of ICC physiology will foster advances in physiology of gut m.tility which will help in a future breakthrough in the pharm.cological interventions to restore norm.l m.tor function of GI tract. This m.ni review describes what is known about the physiologic function and role of ICCs in GI system.m.tility and in a variety of GI system.m.tility disorders.
