Tuberculosis caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis have been a major challenge for medical and healthcare sectors in many underdeveloped countries with limited diagnosis *** can be detected from microscopic slides and chest X-ray but as a result of the high cases of tuberculosis,this method can be tedious for both Microbiologists and Radiologists and can lead to *** challenges can be solved by employing Computer-Aided Detection(CAD)via al-driven models which learn features based on convolution and result in an output with high *** this paper,we described automated discrimination of X-ray and microscope slide images into tuberculosis and non-tuberculosis cases using pretrained alexNet *** study employed Chest X-ray dataset made available on Kaggle repository and microscopic slide images from both Near East University Hospital and Kaggle *** classification of tuberculosis using microscopic slide images,the model achieved 90.56%accuracy,97.78%sensitivity and 83.33%specificity for 70:30 *** classification of tuberculosis using X-ray images,the model achieved 93.89%accuracy,96.67%sensitivity and 91.11%specificity for 70:30 *** result is in line with the notion that CNN models can be used for classifying medical images with higher accuracy and precision.

Structural Development of Northwest Saudi Arabia Using Aeromagnetic and Seismological Data

High resolution aeromagnetic and seismological data constrained by field-based structural investigations have been used to map and delineate the structural elements that affected and shaped the Midyan area in the northwest part of Saudi Arabia. The area was divided into four major domains defined by NNE, NNW, NW and ENE trending faults identified by trends, patterns and intensity of magnetic anomalies. The ENE trending left-lateral strike-slip faults intersected by NNE trending faults are the predominant tectonic features in the Gulf of Aqaba coastal area and stop at the boundary of a central domain characterized by complexity in the pattern and intensity of magnetic anomalies, that may be attributed to heterogeneity of basement rocks containing complex igneous rock suites including diorite, gabbro, ultramafic and alkali granitic rocks. This domain is characterized by the presence of narrow linear magnetic anomalies that extend for kilometers in an NNW direction, indicating dikes intruded through NNW trending faults. These dikes become WNW-oriented near their northern termination by transfer of movement to WNW-oriented faults marking the northern termination of the Red Sea rift. It is believed that this fault zone is still experiencing neotectonic activity, as evident from recorded seismicity. The aeromagnetic structural resuits coincide with fault plane solutions for the largest earthquakes, confirming aeromagnetic interpreted trends and illustrating mixed mechanisms between extensional and strike-slip faulting. Thus the study area displays different mechanisms associated with different tectonic trends which show clearly in the structural patterns of the area.

Variance is one of the most vital measures of dispersion widely employed in practical aspects.A commonly used approach for variance estimation is the traditional method of moments that is strongly influenced by the presence of extreme values,and thus its results cannot be relied *** momentum from Koyuncu’s recent work,the present paper focuses first on proposing two classes of variance estimators based on linear moments(L-moments),and then employing them with auxiliary data under double stratified sampling to introduce a new class of calibration variance estimators using important properties of L-moments(L-location,L-cv,L-variance).Three populations are taken into account to assess the efficiency of the new *** first and second populations are concerned with artificial data,and the third populations is concerned with real *** percentage relative efficiency of the proposed estimators over existing ones is *** the presence of extreme values,our findings depict the superiority and high efficiency of the proposed classes over traditional ***,when auxiliary data is available along with extreme values,the proposed classes of estimators may be implemented in an extensive variety of sampling surveys.

Recently,the Darna distribution has been introduced as a new lifetime *** two-parameter Darna distribution represents is a mixture of two well-known gamma and exponential distributions.A manufacturer or an engineer of products conducts life testing to examine whether the quality level of products meets the customer’s requirements,such as reliability or the minimum *** this article,an attribute modified chain sampling inspection plan based on the time truncated life test is proposed for items whose lifetime follows the Darna *** plan parameters,including the sample size,the acceptance number,and the past lot result of the proposed sampling plan,are determined with the help of the two-point approach considering the acceptable quality level(AQL)and the limiting quality level(LQL).The plan parameters and the corresponding operating characteristic functions of a new plan are provided in tabular form for various Darna distribution ***,a few illustrated examples are presented for various distribution *** usefulness of the proposed attribute modified chain sampling plan is investigated using two real failure time *** results indicate that the proposed sampling plan can reduce the sample size when the termination ratio increases for fixed values of the producer’s risk and acceptance ***,the proposed attribute modified chain sampling inspection plan is recommended to practitioners in the field.

Objective:To evaluate the effect of different doses of lead acetate(1/20,1/40 and 1/60 of LD_(50))on body weight gain,blood picture,plasma prolein profile and the function of liver,kidney and thyroid ***:Male albino rats were divided into four groups,the first group represented the health control animals,while the second,third and fourth groups were ingested orally with sub lethal doses of load acetate(1/20,1/40 and 1/60)of the oral LD_(50),*** dose was ingested every two days during the experimental period(14 weeks)including the adaptation *** was collected and used for all ***:The results showed that,the ingestion of Pb^(2+)induced significant stimulation in glutamic-pyruvic transaminase(alT)and glutamic-oxalacetic transaminease(AST)***,total soluble protein and albumin contents of plasma were significantly decreased,while the content of globulin was changed by the Pb^(2+)*** cholinesteiase activity was inhibited,but the activities of alkaline and acid phosphates and lactate dehydrogenase were stimulated,while plasma glucose level was elevated as a result of lead acetate *** case of blood picture,Pb^(2+)ingestion reduced the contents of hemoglobin and RBCs count of intoxicated rat's blood and the plasma levels of T3,T4 and blood WBCs count were ***:It can be concluded that lead acetate has harmful effect on experimental male albino ***,the present work advises people to prevent exposure to the lead compound to avoid injurious hazard risk.

In this paper, a constrained genetic algorithm (CGA) is proposed to solve the single machine total weighted tardiness problem. The proposed CGA incorporates dominance rules for the problem under consideration into the GA operators. This incorporation should enable the proposed CGA to obtain close to optimal solutions with much less deviation and much less computational effort than the conventional GA (UGA). Several experiments were performed to compare the quality of solutions obtained by the three versions of both the CGA and the UGA with the results obtained by a dynamic programming approach. The computational results showed that the CGA was better than the UGA in both quality of solutions obtained and the CPU time needed to obtain the close to optimal solutions. The three versions of the CGA reduced the percentage deviation by 15.6%, 61.95%, and 25% respectively and obtained close to optimal solutions with 59% lower CPU time than what the three versions of the UGA demanded. The CGA performed better than the UGA in terms of quality of solutions and computational effort when the population size and the number of generations are smaller.
