Dapoxetine is a newer anti-depressant that is used for severe forms of depression via selective serotonin reuptake inhibition *** aimed to evaluate the effect of different doses of dapoxetine lonely or with acetaminophen(AMP).Seven groups of albino rats were used where dapoxetine was administered orally at the doses of 3,5,and 8 mg/kg body weight for a period of 14 days in groups 2,4,and 6,***(67.5 mg/kg body weight)was co-administered with dapoxetine(3,5,and 8 mg/kg body weight)for 14 days in groups 3,5 and 7,*** in mid and high dose plus AMP increased body weight and hematological *** and rearing were declined with mid and high doses of dapoxetine+AMP,contrary to *** was decreased with high doses of dapoxetine+*** dose of dapoxetine+AMP induced lowering of serotonin and dopamine as well as increasing of *** derived neurotrophic factor was decreased in all *** stress biomarkers were augmented with high dose of dapoxetine+*** doses of dapoxetine and/or AMP induced loss of the Purkinje cell layer at *** high dose of dapoxetine+AMP denotes behavioral,histopathological and neurochemical alterations,even though no serotonin syndrome occurs.

Introduction Egypt is a Low-Middle Income Country(LMIC)with a population of 106,472,382 people in August 2022(Worldometers&Department of Economic and Social Affairs,2022).Available evidence suggests that there are misuse/overuse of antibiotic in Egypt[1].On recognizing the global threat of antibiotic resistance(AMR),Egypt launched the National Action Plan(NAP)in *** comprehensive plan,inspired by the Global Action Plan(GAP),united diverse stakeholders like ministries,universities,and international *** NAP tackled AMR through four key strategies:boosting public understanding of antibiotics,optimizing their use across humans and animals,embracing a“One Health”approach,and implementing effective infection prevention practices[2].

This article proposes two new Ranked Set Sampling(RSS)designs for estimating the population parameters:Simple Z Ranked Set Sampling(SZRSS)and Generalized Z Ranked Set Sampling(GZRSS).These designs provide unbiased estimators for the mean of symmetric *** is shown that for non-uniform symmetric distributions,the estimators of the mean under the suggested designs are more efcient than those obtained by RSS,Simple Random Sampling(SRS),extreme RSS and truncation based RSS ***,the proposed RSS schemes outperform other RSS schemes and provide more efcient estimates than their competitors under imperfect *** suggested mean estimators under perfect and imperfect rankings are more efcient than the linear regression estimator under *** proposed RSS designs are also extended to cover the estimation of the population *** data is used to examine wthe usefulness and efciency of our estimators.

Spices and herbal remedies have been used since ancient times to treat a variety of disorders. It has been experimentally demonstrated that spices, herbs, and their extracts possess antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antirheumatic, lipid-lowering, hepatoprotective, nephroprotective, antimutagenic and anticancer activities, besides their gastroprotective and anti-ulcer activities. Despite a number of reports on the toxicity of herbs and spices, they are generally accepted as safer alternatives to conventional therapy against gastric ulcers. To this end, it is also believed, that excessive consumption of spices may favor the pathogenesis of gastric and duodenal ulcer and some studies have substantiated this common perception. Based on various in vivo experiments and clinical studies, on the effects of spices and herbs on gastric ulcers, it has indeed been shown that certain spices do possess remarkable anti-ulcer properties mediated by antisecretory, cytoprotective, antioxidant, and anti-Helicobacter pylori effects and mechanisms regulated by nitric oxide, prostaglandins, non-protein sulfhydryl molecules and epidermal growth factor expression. Accordingly, their consumption may attenuate and help prevent peptic ulcer disease. In the present review, the beneficial effects of spices and herbal nutritive components on the gastric mucosa are discussed against the paradigm of their deleterious potential.

Background: A major cause of mortality and disability on a global scale is myocardial infarction (MI). These days, the most reliable way to detect and measure MI is via cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging (CMR). Aims and Objectives: To evaluate the effectiveness of the Electrocardiogram DETERMINE Score in predicting the severity of coronary artery disease (CAD) in patients who have experienced an Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI) & to assess improvements in left ventricular function at 6 months following coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). Subjects and Methods: This Observational cohort study was done at the Cardiology and Radiology department and cardiac surgery department, al-Azhar university hospitals and Helwan University hospital. The study involved 700 cases who patients diagnosed with Acute Myocardial Infarction and fulfilled specific criteria for selection. Result: There was highly statistically significant relation between Myocardial infarction size and ECG Marker Score as mean infarct size elevated When the number of ECG markers increased. There was a highly statistically significant relation between myocardial infarct segments, myocardial infarction size and improvement of cardiac function 6 months post-CABG. Conclusion: The study found that larger myocardial infarctions corresponded with higher DETERMINE Scores. It concluded that an ECG-based score better estimates infarct size than LVEF alone. Additionally, there was a significant statistical correlation between the size and segmentation of myocardial infarction and better cardiac function six months after CABG.

Introduction and Significance: Burn injury (BI) is a considerable health issue which is responsible for around 300,000 deaths and affecting about 11 million people every year worldwide. In Saudi Arabia, the prevalence of BIs array from 112 to 518 per 100,000 per year. The appropriate awareness of performing first aid could facilitate to improve the outcomes of burns. Purpose and Objectives: To appraise the community that acknowledges burns, first aid, and associated factors among the community population in Jazan City, Saudi Arabia. The paper aims to identify limitations to encourage additional research and persuade legislators to develop improved burn-injury care recommendations and training programs. Materials and Methods: An observational-based sample survey was conducted among the people who live in Jazan City aging 13 years or more, during April 5 to May 5, 2023. Data collection was done by a validated online self-administrated questionnaire sent randomly to community members in different parts of Jazan City via social media platforms. Collected data were coded and cleaned by an excel program, and finally exported on SPSS 26.0 software. The variables were analyzed using descriptive statistics like frequencies and percentages. also, the Chi-square test was used to investigate the relation between different variables, with a significance value of P Results: This study included 243 participants (about 62%) among them were mostly male participants (151) having a university degree. The majority of participants 75% did not take any form of BFA training in the past. This study shows that 69.9% of the participants have inadequate awareness, despite 72% having a constructive attitude towards burn first aid. Previous burn-related first aid training was significantly associated with participants’ knowledge of BFA at a p-value less than 0.05. In this paper,we considered the Length-biased weighted Lomax distribution and constructed new acceptance sampling plans(ASPs)where the life test is assumed to be truncated at a pre-assigned *** the new suggested ASPs,the tables of the minimum samples sizes needed to assert a specific mean life of the test units are *** addition,the values of the corresponding operating characteristic function and the associated producer’s risks are *** of two real data sets are presented to investigate the applicability of the proposed acceptance sampling plans;one data set contains the first failure of 20 small electric carts,and the other data set contains the failure times of the air conditioning system of an *** are made between the proposed acceptance sampling plans and some existing acceptance sampling plans considered in this study based on the minimum sample *** is observed that the samples sizes based on the proposed acceptance sampling plans are less than their competitors considered in this *** suggested acceptance sampling plans are recommended for practitioners in the field.

A chemically prepared carbon was synthesized from date palm leaflets via sulphuric acid carbonization at 160℃. Adsorption of ciprofloxacin （CIP） from aqueous solution was investigated in terms of time, pH, concentration, temperature and adsorbent status （wet and dry）. The equilibrium time was found to be 48 hr. The adsorption rate was enhanced by raising the temperature for both adsorbents, with adsorption data fitting a pseudo second-order model well. The activation energy, Ea, was found to be 17 kJ/mol, indicating a diffusion-controlled, physical adsorption process. The maximum adsorption was found at initial pH 6. The wet adsorbent showed faster removal with higher uptake than the dry adsorbent, with increased performance as temperature increased （25--45℃）. The equilibrium data were found to fit the Langmuir model better than the Freundlich model. The thermodynamic parameters showed that the adsorption process is spontaneous and endothermic. The adsorption mechanism is mainly related to cation exchange and hydrogen bonding.

In this paper,we exploit our prior successful synthesis of MOF-199 single crystals using the reaction-diffusion framework(RDF),to synthesize multivariate metal-organic frameworks(MTV-MOFs)version with enhanced *** MTV-MOFs are synthesized by creating defects within the MOF-199 crystal structure by integrating organic linkers entailing different functional ***,5-aminoisophthalic acid(NH_(2)-BDC)and 5-hydroxyisophthalic acid(OH-BDC)are separately mixed with 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid(BTC)in three different starting ratios of X-BDC:BTC(1:3,1:1)and(3:1).The effects of this linker on the morphology of the synthesized MTV-MOFs,their thermal stability,and their surface area are *** extent of the incorporation of the linkers in the framework is elucidated via^(1)H-NMR spectroscopy and it is shown that the incorporation varies as a function of the location along the tubular reactor,a characteristic of *** enhanced properties of the synthesized MTV-MOFs are further demonstrated by measuring its adsorptive capability for methylene blue(MB)and rhodamine B(Rh B)in aqueous solution,and compared with that of the as-synthesized *** kinetic and thermodynamic studies reveal that MTV-MOFs with the ratio of X-BDC:BTC(1:1)exhibit the best uptakes of MB(263 mg/g)for X=OH and Rh B(156 mg/g)for X=NH_(2).The adsorbents are also easily regenerated for three consecutive cycles without losing their *** finally demonstrate that MTV-MOFs can be designed to tune the dye removal selectivity and enhance the removal capacity of both MB and RhB in a binary aqueous solution of these dyes.
