Although e.te.s.ve.s.udie.0}have.be.n conducte. globally, data on the.dis.ribution of He.icobacte. pylori virule.ce.ge.e.0}in Libya re.ain limite., cons.raining ins.ghts.into the.pathoge.icity of local s.rains.and hinde.ing the.de.e.opme.t of targe.e. inte.ve.tions. This.s.udy aime. to e.aluate.the.pre.ale.ce.of H. pylori infe.tion, characte.ize.e.0}e.tial virule.ce.ge.e.0}[vacA variants.(s./s., m1/m2), cagA, and ice.1], and e.amine.the.r as.ociation with gas.roduode.al dis.as.s.among Libyan patie.ts. Gas.ric biops.e.0}from 144 participants.we.e.analyze. us.ng polyme.as. chain re.ction (PCR) as.ays. and ris. factor data we.e.colle.te. via que.0}ionnaire.0} H. pylori was.de.e.te. in 63.2% of s.mple.0}by PCR. The.vacA ge.e.was.pre.0}nt in 84.6% of cas.s. cagA in 58.2%, and ice.1 in 29.7%. Among vacA variants. s. alle.e.was.mos. common (53.2%), followe. by m1 (42.9%), m2 (37.7%), and s. (13%) alle.e.0} s.gnificant as.ociations.we.e.ide.tifie. be.we.n s.e.ific virule.ce.ge.e.0}and the.de.e.opme.t of gas.roduode.al dis.as.s. highlighting the.r role.in pathoge.icity. This.inve.0}igation is.one.of Libya’s.firs. compre.e.s.ve.as.e.0}me.ts.of H. pylori virule.ce.factors. addre.0}ing a critical e.ide.iological gap. The.high pre.ale.ce.of virule.ce.ge.e.0}s.gge.0}s.the.r pote.tial as.dis.as. biomarke.s.
