i.troducti.n: i.ci.i.nal herni.s frequently compli.ate abdomi.al surgeri.s wi.h a vari.d i.ci.ence as reported to be 2% - 20%. The ri.k factors of development of i.ci.i.nal herni.s i.clude i.munocompromi.ed state, di.betes melli.us, smoki.g, obesi.y, wound i.fecti.n at the i.dex surgery, emergency surgery. Materi.ls and Methods: The study desi.n was prospecti.e and i.cluded 62 pati.nts wi.h i.ci.i.nal herni.s. The pati.nts were evaluated preoperati.ely on OPD basi. wi.h hi.tory, cli.i.al exami.ati.n, baseli.e i.vesti.ati.n, ultrasound abdomen and computed tomogram. Results: The mean age was 48.9 years wi.h male:female rati. of 1:1.4. Mean BMi.was 30.1 kg/m2. Out of 62 pati.nts i. the study 61.2% had concomi.ant hypertensi.n and were on treatment for the same. 30.6% were cli.i.ally hypothyroi., 38.7% were di.beti. and 54.8% were smokers. There were multi.le factors present i. pati.nts i. the current study whi.h were observed to be possi.le to have ri.ked the pati.nts to i.ci.i.nal herni.s after an abdomi.al surgery. 21 pati.nts had defect si.e rangi.g from 5 to 10 cm and 41 pati.nts were beari.g a herni. of the defect si.e of 10 cm or more. The mean operati.e ti.e was 221.7 mi.utes. Conclusi.n: i.ci.i.nal herni.s are a part of surgi.al practi.e that would probably glue to i. to the end of ti.e. A progressi.n from pri.i.i.e suture repai. wi.h recurrence rates of over 65% to modern day mesh rei.forced repai.s wi.h recurrences ai.ed at 0% i. always welcome. But sti.l then the placement of mesh i. di.ferent posi.i.ns or layers of abdomi.al wall yi.lds di.ferent results.

Thi. study attempted to determi.e the burden of pedestri.ns＇ fatali.i.s i. Fars, the southern provi.ce of i.an usi.g years of li.e lost （YLL） approach. Methods： The data used i. thi. study were retri.ved from Fars Forensi. Medi.i.e Organi.ati.n database on pedestri.n traffi. acci.ents. The YLL from 2009 to 2013 was esti.ated usi.g the method presented by World Health organi.ati.n. Some epi.emi.logi.al characteri.ti.s of pedestri.ns＇ fatali.i.s were analyzed by SPSS. Results： Although YLL among 1000 male pedestri.ns decreased from 2.5 i. 2009 to 1.5 i. 2013, i. i.creased from 0.9 to 2.1 among 1000 females duri.g the same peri.d. Hi.her proporti.n of death was found i. female, i.li.erate, and marri.d pedestri.ns {p 〈 0.001 ）. i. addi.i.n, mortali.y was hi.her i. pedestri.ns li.i.g the ci.i.s, duri.g dayti.e, at home, and i. hospi.als （p 〈 0.001 ）. Background: Community pharmacists play a significant role in dispensing and counseling about medications and pharmaceuticals including beauty and cosmetic products. Aims and Objectives: The current study was conducted to assess the viewpoint of community pharmacists in the Western region of Saudi Arabia about their professional role in dispensing beauty products. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted between September and December 2019 using an online questionnaire. Expert professors from college of pharmacy, Taif University validated the questionnaire. Results: Five hundred seventy-seven community pharmacists completed the questionnaire. Most of the participants were male (99%) and aged 23 - 34 years old (71.1%). Slightly less than half (45.58%) of community pharmacists have 6 - 10 years of experience. Most pharmacists (96.9%) communicate directly with customers/ patients and most of them (85.3%) ask and counsel patients about their product. Pharmacists strongly agreed that pharmacists must keep in developing their communication skills with customers/patients. Conclusion: Most of the community pharmacists surveyed in this study reported a good perceived knowledge and attitudes and demonstrated an acceptable level of practices regarding beauty products. Saudi FDA is encouraged to adopt Good Pharmacy Practice standards and guidelines to improve current practice of community pharmacists concerning Beauty Products.

Also, desi.n curves for i.put i.pedance values were developed dependi.g on the geometry of antenna. The proposed desi.n curves are used to desi.n a Bow-Ti. type RFi. tag antenna. The i.put i.pedance of the tag antenna i. calculated usi.g proposed methods and compared wi.h that obtai.ed usi.g CST studi. sui.e 2014 and i.3D Zeland versi.n 12.0 software packages. The results are i.vesti.ated and di.cussed. The tag antenna i. fabri.ated, measured and the obtai.ed i.put i.pedance i. compared wi.h the si.ulati.n and the proposed methods. Good agreement among measured i.put i.pedance and that si.ulated by CST, i.3D or proposed methods i. obtai.ed.

Data from motorcycle dri.ers were collected usi.g a standard questi.nnai.e i. ei.ht major streets at di.ferent ti.es of the day. The data i.cludes consumpti.n of alcohol and other substances two hours before dri.i.g and some of the ri.ky behavi.rs duri.g dri.i.g. Results： A total of 414 dri.ers wi.h a mean ±SD age of （27.0 ±9.3） years parti.i.ated i. the study. Alcohol or substance consumpti.ns two hours before dri.i.g was si.ni.i.antly associ.ted wi.h ri.ky dri.i.g behavi.rs such as usi.g mobi.e phone duri.g dri.i.g, poor maneuveri.g, and dri.i.g over the speed li.i. （both p 〈 0.001 ）. i. was also associ.ted wi.h carelessness about safety such as dri.i.g wi.h techni.al defects （p 〈 0.001） and not weari.g a crash helmet （p 0.008）. Epilepsy is a chronic and the fourth most common neurological disorder which affects people of all age groups. Recently research and awareness on epilepsy-related deaths have rapidly grown over the past two decades. Many previous studies are attributed to the guidelines that apprise health care professionals in handling these deaths, but there is a relative scarcity of information accessible for clinicians and pharmacists who are responsible for manufacturing or preparing the extemporaneous anti-epileptic suspensions in the hospitals. Mostly in partial seizures, phenytoin is one of the first-choice drugs. In Saudi Arabian hospitals, the extemporaneous preparation of phenytoin suspension is common, but the hot climatic weather in Saudi Arabia possesses stability problems that should be tackled as the prepared suspension should pass all the stability tests to ensure uniform dosage of the extemporaneous formulation. In the current study, the commercial capsules were used to prepare the oral phenytoin sodium extemporaneous suspension. The physical, chemical and microbiological stability of phenytoin sodium suspension is analyzed at various temperatures.
