Effect of synergistic urea by nitrification inhibitor coated with resin on wheat growth and soil nitrogen supply

Combining nitrification inhibitor and urea can improve crop yield and nitrogen (N) use efficiency (NUE). However, the inhibitor easily gets inactivated in soil, making it difficult to achieve the desired effect. To develop a synergistic urea for increasing the inhibitor action time, soil N supply, and wheat growth,dicyandiamide (DCD) was coated after granulation with epoxy resin and then mixed with urea to develop new resin-coated DCD (RCD) synergistic *** electron microscopy (SEM) and hydrostatic release tests were used to evaluate the membrane microstructure and the controlled-release performance of RCD. Five fertilization treatments were set up in the field:zero-N control (CK), urea (U), urea+common DCD particles (SUD1), urea+RCD (SUD2.,and urea+both common DCD particles and RCD (3:7, weight/weight)(SUD3) to investigate the effects of the DCD synergistic urea on wheat growth, yield,and NUE and soil available N content. The SEM results showed that RCD had a complete coating, smooth surface, and small and rugged channels for DCD release in the profile. The hydrostatic release test at 2.?C showed that the release period of DCD was extended to ten days due to resin coating. In the three DCD synergistic urea treatments, only SUD3 resulted in a significant increase in wheat yield (18.47%) compared with U. The NUE in SUD3 was significantly higher than those in SUD2. U, and SUD1. The treatment SUD3 had higher soil available N content than the other treatments during the key wheat growth stages, while effectively reducing the risk of soil nitrate leaching during wheat maturity. In summary, SUD3, a mixture of urea, DCD particles, and RCD, was the best treatment for significantly increasing wheat growth, yield, and NUE and soil N supply.

Tree-ring width(RW),density,elemental com-position,and stable carbon and oxygen isotope(δ^(13)C,δ^(18)O)are widely used as proxies to assess climate change,ecology,and environmental pollution;however,a specific pretreat-ment has been needed for each ***,we developed a method by which each proxy can be measured in the same ***,the sample is polished for ring width *** obtaining the ring width data,the sample is cut to form a 1-mm-thick wood *** sample is then mounted in a vertical sample holder,and gradually scanned by an X-ray ***,the count rates of the fluorescent photons of elements(for chemical characteriza-tion)and a radiographic grayscale image(for wood density)are obtained,*** density and the element content are ***,cellulose is isolated from the 1-mm wood plate by removal of lignin,and *** producing this cellulose plate,cellulose subsamples are separated by knife under the microscope for inter-annual and intra-annual stable carbon and oxygen isotope(δ^(13)C,δ^(18)O)*** on this method,RW,density,elemental composition,δ^(13)C,and δ^(18)O can be measured from the same sample,which reduces sample amount and treatment time,and is helpful for multi-proxy comparison and combination research.

Gene set scoring(GSS)has been routinely conducted for gene expression analysis of bulk or single-cell RNA sequencing(RNA-seq)data,which helps to decipher single-cell heterogeneity and cell type-specific variability by incorporating prior knowledge from functional gene ***-cell assay for transposase accessible chromatin using sequencing(scATAC-seq)is a powerful technique for interrogating single-cell chromatin-based gene regulation,and genes or gene sets with dynamic regulatory potentials can be regarded as cell type-specific markers as if in single-cell RNA-seq(scRNA-seq).However,there are few GSS tools specifically designed for scATAC-seq,and the applicability and performance of RNA-seq GSS tools on scATAC-seq data remain to be ***,we systematically benchmarked ten GSS tools,including four bulk RNA-seq tools,five scRNA-seq tools,and one scATAC-seq ***,using matched scATAC-seq and scRNA-seq datasets,we found that the performance of GSS tools on scATAC-seq data was comparable to that on scRNA-seq,suggesting their applicability to ***,the performance of different GSS tools was extensively evaluated using up to ten scATAC-seq ***,we evaluated the impact of gene activity conversion,dropout imputation,and gene set collections on the results of *** show that dropout imputation can significantly promote the performance of almost all GSS tools,while the impact of gene activity conversion methods or gene set collections on GSS performance is more dependent on GSS tools or ***,we provided practical guidelines for choosing appropriate preprocessing methods and GSS tools in different application scenarios.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the efficacy of substances containing 3 types of active ingredients-saponins,flavones, and alkaloids on experimental animals with autoimmune diseases(AIDs).METHODS: The protocol for this systematic review and Meta-analysis was prospectively registered with PROSPERO(CRD42.2.395741). Searches were conducted in the China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang, Chinese Science and Technology Journals, China Biomedical, Pub Med,Cochrane Library, and Embase databases to screen for animal studies investigating the therapeutic effects of saponins, flavones, or alkaloids on autoimmune diseases;consequently, corresponding data extraction tables were prepared. Systematic Review Centre for Laboratory Animal Experimentation was used to assess the risk of methodological bias in the included literature. RevMan 5.4 was used for the Meta-analysis on the 8 serum ***: A total of 31 studies were included, all of which were randomized controlled studies. Meta-analysis indicated that substances rich in saponins, flavones, and alkaloids reduced serum levels of interleukin(IL)-1β[standardized mean difference(SMD) =-1.94, 95%confidence interval(CI)(-2.99,-0.90), P = 0.0003], IL-6 [SMD =-1.65, 95% CI(-2.33,-0.97,) P 2.41, 95% CI(-3.61,-1.2.), P 2.61,-1.06), P 2.43,-0.65), P = 0.0007], but increased serum levels of IL-4 [SMD = 1.30, 95% CI(0.15,2.44), P = 0.03) and IL-10 [SMD = 2.05, 95% CI(1.39,2.70), P 2.[SMD =-0.63, 95% CI(-1.82. 0.57), P = 0.30].CONCLUTIONS: Substances containing saponins,flavones, and alkaloids regulated the changes of immunerelated cytokines, it may be a novel dietary substance to relieve and control autoimmune diseases in the future.

The eikonal approximation(EA) is widely used in various high-energy scattering problems. In this work we generalize this approximation from the scattering problems with time-independent Hamiltonian to the ones with periodical Hamiltonians, i.e., the Floquet scattering problems. We further illustrate the applicability of our generalized EA via the scattering problem with respect to a shaking spherical square-well potential, by comparing the results given by this approximation and the exact ones. The generalized EA we developed is helpful for the research of manipulation of high-energy scattering processes with external field, e.g. the manipulation of atom, molecule or nuclear collisions or reactions via strong laser fields.

Superhydrophobic coatings with high non-wetting properties are widely applied in anti-icing ***,the micro-nanostructures on the surfaces of superhydrophobic coatings are fragile under external forces,resulting in reduced ***,mechanical strength and durability play a crucial role in the utilization of superhydrophobic *** this study,we employed a two-step spraying method to fabricate superhydrophobic FEVE-based coatings with exceptional mechanical durability,utilizing fluorinated TiO_(2.nanoparticles and fluorinated Al_(2.O_(3)microwhiskers as the *** composite coating exhibited commendable non-wetting properties,displaying a contact angle of 164.84°and a sliding angle of 4.3°.On this basis,the stability of coatings was significantly improved due to the interlocking effect of Al_(2.O_(3)*** 500 tape peeling cycles,500 sandpaper abrasion tests,and 50 kg falling sand impact tests,the coatings retained superhydrophobicity,exhibiting excellent durability and application ***,the ice adhesion strength on the coatings was measured at only 65.4 kPa,while the icing delay time reached 2.1.8 s at-15℃.In addition,throughout 500 freezing/melting cycles,statistical analysis revealed that the superhydrophobic coatings exhibited a freezing initiation temperature as low as-17.2.℃.

With the development of detection and identification technology,infrared stealth is of great value to realize anti-reconnaissance detection of military *** present,infrared stealth materials generally have deficiency,such as complex structure,inconvenient radiation regulation and cumbersome preparation steps,which greatly limit the practical application of infrared stealth *** view of the above deficiency of infrared stealth materials,we proposed a kind of multilayer film for infrared stealth using VO2.hermochromism based on the temperature response mechanism of tuna to adjust its color,and through the intelligent reversible radiation regulation mechanism to meet the infrared stealth requirements of tanks in different actual *** results show that when the temperature increases from 300 K to 373 K,the peak emissivity of the film decreases from 94%to 2.%in the 8-14μm band after structural optimization,which can realize the infrared stealth of the high temperature target in the 8-14μm *** average emissivity of the multilayer film for infrared stealth at3-5μm and 8-14μm band can be reduced to 34%and 2.%at 373 K,and the peak emissivity at 5-8μm band can reach 65%,realizing dual-band infrared stealth in the 3-5μm and 8-14μm bands and heat dissipation in the 5-8μm *** multilayer film for infrared stealth based on VO2.hermochromism designed by the authors can meet the characteristics of simple film structure,convenient radiation regulation and simple preparation.
