Multi-Sinusoidal Waveform Shaping for Integrated Data and Energy Transfer in Aging Channels

Integrated data and energy transfer(IDET)is capable of simultaneously delivering on-demand data and energy to low-power Internet of Everything(Io E)*** propose a multi-carrier IDET transceiver relying on superposition waveforms consisting of multi-sinusoidal signals for wireless energy transfer(WET)and orthogonal-frequency-divisionmultiplexing(OFDM)signals for wireless data transfer(WDT).The outdated channel state information(CSI)in aging channels is employed by the transmitter to shape IDET *** the constraints of transmission power and WDT requirement,the amplitudes and phases of the IDET waveform at the transmitter and the power splitter at the receiver are jointly optimised for maximising the average directcurrent(DC)among a limited number of transmission frames with the existence of carrier-frequencyoffset(CFO).For the amplitude optimisation,the original non-convex problem can be transformed into a reversed geometric programming problem,then it can be effectively solved with existing *** for the phase optimisation,the artificial bee colony(ABC)algorithm is invoked in order to deal with the *** between the amplitude optimisation and phase optimisation yields our joint *** results demonstrate the advantage of our joint design for the IDET waveform shaping with the existence of the CFO and the outdated CSI.

MIL-100（V） and MIL-100（V）/rGO with various valence states of vanadium ions as sulfur cathode hosts for lithium-sulfur batteries

MIL-100（V） is an inorganic-organic hybrid material composed of trimesic acid ligands and vanadium trimer supertetrahedra. MIL-100（V） is expected to be a good host for sulfur impregnation and an excellent sulfur cathode host for Li-S batteries, not only because of its unique mesoporous structure, but also owing to the presence of vanadium ions with various valence states, which can offer different Lewis acid sites and allow for strong interactions with sulfur and lithium polysulfides. In this study, mesoporous M1L-100（V） and MIL-100（V）/ reduced graphene oxide （rGO） composites have been applied as novel hosts for Li-S batteries for the first time. When tested as cathodes for Li-S batteries, both S@MIL-100（V） and S@MIL-100（V）/rGO exhibit excellent electrochemical performance. The S@MIL-100（V） cathode has been demonstrated to have a reversible capacity of -550 mAh/g at 0.1 C （1 C = 1,675 mAh/g） after 200 cycles with low capacity fading of 0.17% per cycle. Moreover, S@MIL-100（V）/rGO maintains a capacity of 650 mAh/g at 0.1 C after 75 cycles, whereas at 0.5 C, the capacity is maintained at 500 mAh/g after 200 cycles and 450 mAh/g after 300 cycles. The above results reveal that the use of MIL-100（V） and MIL-100（V）/rGO as hosts for Li-S batteries can effectively enhance the cycling stability and improve the electrochemical performance of Li-S batteries.

In situ autophagy regulation in synergy with phototherapy for breast cancer treatment

Autophagy is an important factor in reducing the efficacy of tumor phototherapy(including PTT and PDT).Accurate regulation of autophagy in tumor cells is a new strategy to improve the anti-tumor efficiency of PTT/*** project intended to construct a tumor-activated autophagy regulator to efficiently block PTT/PDT-induced autophagy and realize synergistic sensitization to tumor *** achieve this goal,we first synthesized TRANSFERRIN(Tf)biomimetic mineralized nano-tellurium(Tf-Te)as photosensitizer and then used disulfide bond reconstruction technology to induce Tf-Te *** autophagy inhibitor hydroxychloroquine(HCQ)and iron ions carried by Tf were simultaneously loaded to prepare a tumor-responsive drug reservoir Tf-Te/*** entering breast cancer cells through the“self-guidance system”,Tf-Te/HCQ can generate hyperpyrexia and ROS under NIR laser irradiation,to efficiently induce PTT/PDT ***,the disulfide bond broke down in response to GSH,and the nanoparticles disintegrated to release Fe2+and HCQ at fixed *** simultaneously induce lysosomal alkalinization and increased osmotic pressure,effectively inhibit autophagy,and synergistically enhance the therapeutic effect of *** vivo anti-tumor results have proved that the tumor inhibition rate of Tf-Te/HCQ can be as high as 88.6%on 4T1 tumor-bearing *** multifunctional drug delivery system might provide a new alternative for more precise and effective tumor phototherapy.

Expression Profiles of SIRT1 and APP Genes in Human Neuroblastoma SK-N-SH Cells Treated with Two Epigenetic Agents

In our previous studies, significant hypermethylation of the sirtuin 1（SIRT1） gene and demethylation of the b-amyloid precursor protein（APP） gene were found in patients with Alzheimer＇s disease（AD） compared with the normal population. Moreover, the expression of SIRT1 was significantly decreased while that of APP was increased in AD patients. These results indicated a correlation of DNA methylation with gene expression levels in AD patients. To further investigate the epigenetic mechanism of gene modulation in AD, we used two epigenetic drugs, the DNA methylation inhibitor 5-aza-20-deoxycytidine（DAC） and the histone deacetylase inhibitor trichostatin A（TSA）, to treat human neuroblastoma SK-N-SH cells in the presence of amyloid b-peptide Ab25-35（Ab25-35）. We found that DAC and TSA had different effects on the expression trends of SIRT1 and APP in the cell model of amyloid toxicity. Although other genes, such as microtubule-associated protein s, presenilin 1, presenilin 2, and apolipoprotein E, were up-regulated after Ab25-35treatment, no significant differences were found after DAC and/or TSA treatment. These results support the evidence in AD patients and reveal a strong correlation of SIRT1/APP expression with DNA methylation and/or histone modification, which may help understand the pathogenesis of AD.

BACKGROUND： The pathophysiological mechanisms of ischemia are extremely complicated. It is difficult to confirm and maintain the therapeutic effects if only one neuroprotective agent is used. It is hypothesized that a cocktail therapy involving a combined application of neuroprotective agents is feasible and offers excellent therapeutic potential. OBJECTIVE： To evaluate the neuroprotective effects of a cocktail therapy of insulin-like growth factor 1 （IGF1） combined with anti-intercellular adhesion molecule 1 （ICAM1） antibody in the treatment of cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury using medical imaging, pathology, and functional neurological deficit scoring techniques. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING： This randomized, controlled, neuroimaging analysis of function and pathological observation was performed at the Laboratory of Molecular Imaging, Second Hospital, Hebei Medical University between September 2006 and December 2007. MATERIALS： Transient middle cerebral artery occlusion （MCAO） was induced in 24 healthy adult cats. Anti-ICAM1 antibody and IGF1 were sourced from the Shanghai Kangcheng Biological Product Co., Ltd., China. Stereotaxic apparatus was purchased from the Center for Medical Apparatus and Instruments, Shandong Liaocheng People＇s Hospital, China. The in situ apoptosis kit was provided by the Beijing Zhongshan Biotechnique Co., Ltd., China. METHODS： Twenty-four cat models of MCAO were randomly divided into four groups （n = 6）： control, IGF1, anti-ICAM 1 antibody and cocktail therapy. Following a 2-hour ischemia and subsequent lateral cerebral ventricular puncture, 100 μg IGFl（cerebral ventricular）, 100 μg anti-ICAM1 antibody （i.v.）, 50 μg IGFl（lateral cerebral ventricular）＋ 50 μg anti-ICAM1 antibody （i.v.）, and 100 μg physiological saline （i.v.） were administered to the IGF1, anti-ICAM1 antibody, cocktail therapy and control groups, respectively. 为了全面揭示电除尘器粉尘非稳态收集过程,建立完整的非稳态静电收尘理论,根据静电学基本原理,研究了极板粉尘层电荷导入、积累、释放的过程,推导出随粉尘层厚度增长而改变的动态收尘电场强度计算公式,进而得到荷电粒子动态驱进速度公式,最终形成静电除尘非稳态收集理论.研究结果表明,在静电收尘过程中,粒子驱进速度与粉尘比电阻、工作电压、粉尘层厚度等多种因素有关;随粉尘比电阻的升高,收尘效率下降,当供电电压为最佳工作电压时收尘效率最高.针对不同比电阻粉尘进行了多项实验研究,实验结果与理论研究结果吻合.非稳态静电收尘理论成功地解释了实际静电收尘过程中与传统静电收尘理论相矛盾的地方,为静电除尘器的设计及其运行参数的选取提供了更为科学的理论基础.
