Stabilities of delay stochastic McKean-Vlasov equations in the G-framework

This article focuses on a type of stochastic Mc Kean-Vlasov equation in the G-framework(G-SMVE) and addresses the stability issue for delay stochastic Mc Kean-Vlasov equations in the G-framework(G-SMVDEs). Distribution dependence and uncertainty prevent us from directly applying the stochastic analysis method for stochastic Mc Kean-Vlasov equations(SMVEs)to G-SMVEs directly. To overcome this difficulty, we introduce definitions, including the derivative of a function with a law under the G-expectation and the Lions derivatives. Then we construct a new G-It? formula for G-SMVEs according to the G-It? formula for stochastic differential equations in the G-framework(G-SDEs) and the It? formula for SMVEs. Using the new G-It? formula and the Lyapunov functional method, we investigate the moment exponential stability and almost sure asymptotic stability of G-SMVDEs. To overcome the difficulty in obtaining the distribution dependence of the exact solution to the G-SMVDE, we introduce the empirical measure and the corresponding interacting particle system, and then prove the stability equivalence between the underlying G-SMVDE and the corresponding interacting particle system. Two examples are used to confirm our theoretical results.

Insect herbivory is ubiquitous in various ecosystems, and directly influences the growth and survival of individual plants, especially during their vulnerable early life stages like the seedling phase. This, in turn, exerts a significant influence on forest community diversity and structure, as well as ecosystem function and stability. Notable variation in herbivory has been detected both among and within plant species. For decades, many hypotheses have been proposed to explain such variations, including both biotic and abiotic variables. However, most studies have considered only one or several of these hypotheses by focusing on a few potential variables, and their results were usually inconsistent;thus, the factors driving herbivory remain unclear. In this study, we examined leaf herbivory by insects of woody species seedlings in a subtropical forest in southwestern China over two seasons. In total, 24 potential variables that represented abiotic resource availability, characters of individual seedlings, conspecific and heterospecific species, and the whole seedling community were selected to test several commonly discussed alternative herbivory hypotheses. Overall, our findings showed that the plant apparency hypothesis was more supported than the other hypotheses in explaining insect seedling herbivory. Our results further indicated that the mechanisms and causes of insect herbivory are complex, multifactorial, species-specific and vary with seasons, indicating that there may be no uniform rules in explaining herbivory for all seedlings. Consequently, such complexity may play an important role in promoting species coexistence and biodiversity maintenance in seedling communities, which may further translate into the following generation of saplings or even adult communities. Fine particle detachment and subsequent migration can lead to severe pore plugging and consequent permeability decline. Therefore, it is crucial to quantify the critical condition when fine particle detachment occurs. The frequently observed deviations or even contradictions between experimental results and theoretical predictions of fines detachment arise from an insufficient understanding of adhesion force that can be highly influenced by salinity and temperature. To clarify the intrinsic influence of salinity and temperature on fines detachment, adhesion forces between carboxyl microspheres and hydrophilic silica substrates in an aqueous medium were measured at various salinities and temperatures using atomic force microscopy(AFM). The AFM-measured adhesion force decreases with increasing salinity or temperature. Trends of mean measured adhesion forces with temperature and salinity were compared with the DLVO and XDLVO theories. DLVO theory captured the trend with temperature via the impact of temperature on electric double layer interactions, whereas XDLVO theory captured the observed trend with salinity via the impact of salinity on the repulsive hydration force. Our results highlight the significance of hydration force in accurately predicting the fate of fines in porous media.

微生物细胞工厂(microbial cell factories,MCFs)被广泛用于生产丰富多样的化学品、食品、药品和能源,是绿色生物制造的核心环节。早期主要通过天然微生物的筛选和诱变育种的方式获得高产菌种,然而作为一种“以时间(人力)换水平”的非理性策略,其创制效率极低。随着分子生物学和基因工程研究方法的不断发展,对微生物系统认知和改造能力的进步促使代谢工程学科诞生。基于生物学知识的理性/半理性代谢工程设计和构建策略,目前已发展了从分子、途径到基因组层次不同的MCFs设计和工程化构建策略。本文结合实际案例对MCFs的设计及构建策略进行综述,首先回顾传统诱变育种和代谢工程指导的理性/半理性设计策略,探讨如何突破代谢工程经典框架的限制,实现全基因组水平定制化MCFs的快速构建,最后对这一新的构建范式的未来进行展望。

A Deep Learning Estimation Method for Temperature-Induced Girder End Displacements of Suspension Bridges

To improve the accuracy of thermal response estimation and overcome the limitations of the linear regression model and Artificial Neural Network(ANN)model,this study introduces a deep learning estimation method specifically based on the Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)network,to predict temperature-induced girder end displacements of the Dasha Waterway Bridge,a suspension bridge in ***,to enhance data quality and select target sensors,preprocessing based on the sigma rule and nearest neighbor interpolation is applied to the raw ***,to eliminate the high-frequency components from the displacement signal,the wavelet transform is ***,the linear regression model and ANN model are established,whose results do not meet the requirements and fail to address the time lag effect between temperature and *** study proceeds to develop the LSTM network model and determine the optimal parameters through hyperparameter sensitivity ***,the results of the LSTM network model are discussed by a comparative analysis against the linear regression model and ANN model,which indicates a higher accuracy in predicting temperatureinduced girder end displacements and the ability to mitigate the time-lag *** be more specific,in comparison between the linear regression model and LSTM network,the mean square error decreases from 6.5937 to 1.6808 and R2 increases from 0.683 to 0.930,which corresponds to a 74.51%decrease in MSE and a 36.14%improvement in *** to ANN,with an MSE of 4.6371 and an R2 of 0.807,LSTM shows a decrease in MSE of 63.75%and an increase in R2 of 13.23%,demonstrating a significant enhancement in predictive performance.

The separation-of-variable(SOV)methods,such as the improved SOV method,the variational SOV method,and the extended SOV method,have been proposed by the present authors and coworkers to obtain the closed-form analytical solutions for free vibration and eigenbuckling of rectangular plates and circular cylindrical *** taking the free vibration of rectangular thin plates as an example,this work presents the theoretical framework of the SOV methods in an instructive way,and the bisection–based solution procedures for a group of nonlinear eigenvalue ***,the explicit equations of nodal lines of the SOV methods are presented,and the relations of nodal line patterns and frequency orders are *** is concluded that the highly accurate SOV methods have the same accuracy for all frequencies,the mode shapes about repeated frequencies can also be precisely captured,and the SOV methods do not have the problem of missing roots as well.
