Mitochondria,with their intricate networks of functions and information processing,are pivotal in both health regulation and disease ***,mitochondrial dysfunctions are identified in many common pathologies,including cardiovascular diseases,neurodegeneration,metabolic syndrome,and ***,the multifaceted nature and elusive phenotypic threshold of mitochondrial dysfunction complicate our understanding of their contributions to ***,these complexities do not prevent mitochondria from being among the most important therapeutic *** recent years,strategies targeting mitochondrial dysfunction have continuously emerged and transitioned to clinical *** intervention such as using healthy mitochondria to replenish or replace damaged mitochondria,has shown promise in preclinical trials of various *** components,including mtDNA,mitochondria-located microRNA,and associated proteins can be potential therapeutic agents to augment mitochondrial function in immunometabolic diseases and tissue ***,we review current knowledge of mitochondrial pathophysiology in concrete examples of common *** also summarize current strategies to treat mitochondrial dysfunction from the perspective of dietary supplements and targeted therapies,as well as the clinical translational situation of related pharmacology ***,this review discusses the innovations and potential applications of mitochondrial transplantation as an advanced and promising treatment.

Limits of Uneven Battery Power in Modular Multilevel Converter-based Battery Energy Storage Systems

For modular multilevel converter-based battery energy storage systems (MMC-BESS), uneven power among batteries of SMs will be deduced by battery aging, battery fault, etc., which will degrade performance and even lead to system failure. For maintaining the balance of capacitor voltage, this paper analyzes the limits of the uneven power of batteries, which are presented as the current limits in this paper. According to analysis, an analytical method is proposed that only the dc and fundamental frequency components of the arm current are used to calculate current limits. With the current limits it is able to evaluate the reasonability of power distribution among batteries. Meanwhile, increase of fundamental frequency component will enhance the current limits, and the dc component determines the size relationship between the absolute values of the upper and lower current limits. Finally, simulation model and experiment prototype are built for verifying the theoretical analysis and current limits calculation method, and satisfactory results are provided.

Selective molecular recognition in water is routine for bioreceptors,but remains challenging for synthetic *** is principally because noncovalent interactions are usually less efficient in aqueous *** mimicking the cavity feature of bioreceptors,*** Jiang proposed and clarified the concept of“endo-functionalized cavity”.Through situating polar binding sites into a deep hydrophobic cavity,we designed and synthesized several macrocyclic hosts,among which amide naphthotubes are the most *** hosts can selectively recognize various polar molecules including organic micropollutants,drug molecules,and chiral molecules in water by employing the hydrophobic effect and shielded hydrogen *** addition,these biomimetic hosts have been applied in spectroscopic analysis,adsorptive separation and *** this review,we provide an overview of recent advances on amide naphthotubes with special emphasis on the efforts of Jiang's *** are convinced that these biomimetic macrocycles will make further contributions to supramolecular chemistry and beyond.

The piezoelectric Tonpilz transducer has many obvious advantages,such as simple structure,high electro-acoustic transforming efficiency,and high transmitting *** usefulness is limited because of its high mechanical quality factor *** of Tonpilz type with double excitations has been invented to broaden the operating frequency band by stimulating two adjacent longitudinal vibration ***,the peak and valley level of transmitting voltage response（TVR）was hard to be less than 3dB without matching *** of the added mass in the pzt-4 ceramics helps get near the first two longitudinal resonant modes,while the length and radiating area of head plate influence the bending modes and radiation quality ***-excited tonpilz transducers which combine the first two longitudinal modes and bending modes were designed with the help of finite element *** stimulating no less than 3 vibration modes,the-3dB operating bandwidth was much broader than ever before,what’s more,the performance achieved without the help of matching layers.

High-energy-density lithium metal batteries are the next-generation battery systems of choice,and replacing the flammable liquid electrolyte with a polymer solid-state electrolyte is a prominent conduct towards realizing the goal of high-safety and high-specific-energy ***,the inherent intractable problems of poor solid-solid contacts between the electrode/electrolyte and the growth of Li dendrites hinder their practical *** in-situ solidification has demonstrated a variety of advantages in the application of polymer electrolytes and artificial interphase,including the design of integrated polymer electrolytes and asymmetric polymer electrolytes to enhance the compatibility of solid–solid contact and compatibility between various electrolytes,and the construction of artificial interphase between the Li anode and cathode to suppress the formation of Li dendrites and to enhance the high-voltage stability of polymer *** review firstly elaborates the history of in-situ solidification for solid-state batteries,and then focuses on the synthetic methods of solidified ***,the recent progress of in-situ solidification technology from both the design of polymer electrolytes and the construction of artificial interphase is summarized,and the importance of in-situ solidification technology in enhancing safety is ***,prospects,emerging challenges,and practical applications of in-situ solidification are envisioned.

An efficient method for constructing a random insertional mutant library for forward genetics in Nannochloropsis oceanica

Multi-scale data joint inversion of minerals and porosity in altered igneous reservoirs—A case study in the South China Sea

There are abundant igneous gas reservoirs in the South China Sea with significant value of research,and lithology classification,mineral analysis and porosity inversion are important links in reservoir ***,affected by the diverse lithology,complicated mineral and widespread alteration,conventional logging lithology classification and mineral inversion become considerably *** the same time,owing to the limitation of the wireline log response equation,the quantity and accuracy of minerals can hardly meet the exploration requirements of igneous *** overcome those issues,this study takes the South China Sea as an example,and combines multi-scale data such as micro rock slices,petrophysical experiments,wireline log and element cutting log to establish a set of joint inversion methods for minerals and porosity of altered igneous ***,we define the lithology and mineral characteristics through core slices and mineral data,and establish an igneous multi-mineral volumetric *** we determine element cutting log correction method based on core element data,and combine wireline log and corrected element cutting log to perform the lithology classification and joint inversion of minerals and ***,it is always difficult to determine the elemental eigenvalues of different minerals in *** paper uses multiple linear regression methods to solve this ***,an integrated inversion technique for altered igneous formations was *** results show that the corrected element cutting log are in good agreement with the core element data,and the mineral and porosity results obtained from the joint inversion based on the wireline log and corrected element cutting log are also in good agreement with the core data from X-ray *** results demonstrate that the inversion technique is applicable and this study provides a new direction for the mineral inversion research of altered igneous formation

Temperature-Dependent Tearing Behavior of Rubber Materials:Characterization and Modeling

With the increasingly widespread application of rubber in many fields,there is a growing demand for quantitative characterization of temperature-dependent mechanical properties in high-temperature service *** critical tearing energy is an important criterion for determining whether rubber materials will experience tearing instability,while tear strength is a key parameter for rubber materials to resist *** is necessary to quantitatively characterize their evolution with *** theoretical research mainly relies on fitting a large amount of experimental data,which is not convenient for engineering ***,in this work,a temperature-dependent critical tearing energy model is firstly developed based on the force-heat equivalence energy density *** model considers the equivalent relationship between the critical tearing energy required for crack instability propagation and the thermal energy stored in the rubber *** is demonstrated that our model has higher prediction accuracy when compared to other ***,combining with the Griffith fracture theory,temperature-dependent tear strength models applicable to three different crack modes are separately *** models are validated using experimental data for Mode I opening cracks and ModeⅢtearing cracks,and good consistency is ***,a quantitative analysis of the influence of elastic modulus on tear strength at different temperatures is *** work provides a reliable way for predicting temperature-dependent tearing instability behavior and offers beneficial suggestions for improving the tear strength of rubber materials at different temperatures.

Investigation into the roles of interfacial H_(2)O structure in catalytic oxidation of HCHO and CO over CuMnO_(2) catalysts

The rapid deactivation of cost-effective MnO_(2)-based catalysts in humid air limits their application in practice,and the identification of the role of water in an oxidation process is significant for developing water-resistant MnO_(2)-based ***,CuMnO_(2)showed a20.3%HCHO conversion in 10 hr at room temperature in humid air with relative humidity of 40%,but deactivated in 3 hr in dry *** excellent activity and stability of HCHO oxidation in humid air were attributed to the positive effect of H_(2)O on HCHO oxidation to the H_(2)O-HOCH_(2)OH supermolecule assemblies via hydrogen bonds formed on CuMnO_(2).H_(2)O-HOCH_(2)OH supermolecule assemblies tend to be oxidized to carbonate,which is further oxidized to CO_(2).Furthermore,CuMnO_(2)exhibited a much poorer activity of CO oxidation in humid air,but the CO conversion was still 100%in 10 hr in dry air.H_(2)O showed a competitive adsorption effect to CO on CuMnO_(2).CuMnO_(2)could be applied in HCHO elimination in humid air and CO elimination in dry air.
