Intelligent field monitoring system for cruciferous vegetable pests using yellow sticky board images and an improved Cascade R-CNN

Cruciferous vegetables are important edible vegetable ***,they are susceptible to various pests during their growth process,which requires real-time and accurate monitoring of these pests for pest forecasting and scientific *** yellow sticky boards is a common way to monitor and trap those pests which are attracted to the yellow *** achieve real-time,low-cost,intelligent monitoring of these vegetable pests on the boards,we established an intelligent monitoring system consisting of a smart camera,a web platform and a pest detection algorithm deployed on a *** the operator sets the monitoring preset points and shooting time of the camera on the system platform,the camera in the field can automatically collect images of multiple yellow sticky boards at fixed places and times every *** pests trapped on the yellow sticky boards in vegetable fields,Plutella xylostella,Phyllotreta striolata and flies,are very small and susceptible to deterioration and breakage,which increases the difficulty of model *** solve the problem of poor recognition due to the small size and breaking of the pest bodies,we propose an intelligent pest detection algorithm based on an improved Cascade R-CNN model for three important cruciferous crop *** algorithm uses an overlapping sliding window method,an improved Res2Net network as the backbone network,and a recursive feature pyramid network as the neck *** results of field tests show that the algorithm achieves good detection results for the three target pests on the yellow sticky board images,with precision levels of 96.5,92.2 and 75.0%,and recall levels of 96.6,93.1 and 74.7%,respectively,and an F_(1) value of *** with other algorithms,our algorithm has a significant advantage in its ability to detect small target *** accurately obtain the data for the newly added pests each day,a two-stage pest matching algorithm was *** algorithm performed well and achieved

lithium argyrodites with high ionic conductivity and low cost are considered as one of the most prospective solid electrolytes for all-solid-state lithium ***,the poor chemical stability and compatibility with lithium metal limit their ***,li_(5.4)PS_(4.4)Cl1.4I0.2solid electrolyte with high ionic conductivity of 11.49 m S ccm^(-1)and improved chemical stability is synthesized by iodine *** ultra-thin li_(5.4)PS_(4.4)Cl_(1.4)I_(0.2)membrane with thickness of 10μm can be obtained by wet coating process,exhibiting a high ionic conductivity of 2.09 mS ccm^(-1)and low areal resistance of 1.17Ωcm^(-2).Moreover,iodine doping could in-situ form liI at the lithium/electrolyte interface and improve the critical current density of li_(5.4)PS_(4.4)Cl_(1.6)from 0.8 to 1.35 mA cm^(-2).The resultant liCoO_(2)/li_(5.4)PS_(4.4)Cl_(1.4)I_(0.2)/li battery shows excellent cycling stability at 1 C,with a reversible specific capacity of 110.1 mA h g^(-1)and a retention of 80.5% after 1000 *** addition,the assembled liCoO_(2)/li_(5.4)PS_(4.4)Cl_(1.4)I_(0.2)membrane/li pouch cell delivers an initial discharge capacity of 110.4 mA h g^(-1)and 80.5% capacity retention after 100 cycles.

Digital Economy and Corporate Innovation-Washing--An Empirical Study on How Information Mitigates Policy Distortion

As stated in the Report to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC),innovation remains at the heart of China’s modernization drive,and it is vital to optimize the allocation of innovation resources,deepen structural scientific and technological reforms,and enhance the overall performance of China’s innovation *** incentives have boosted firm R&D and innovation efforts;however,they have also triggered an innovation dilemma where enterprises,capitalizing on their informational advantages,resort to innovation-washing behaviors that undermine the intended purpose of the *** on the information asymmetry theory,this paper conducts an empirical study on how the digital economy affects firms’innovation-washing *** development of the regional digital economy could suppress firm innovation-washing behavior in the region,and such a mitigation effect is primarily caused by an increase in the number of digital industry *** to our heterogeneity analysis,the digital economy has a greater impact on firm innovation-washing behavior for certain types of enterprises,including non-state-owned enterprises(non-SOEs),small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs),enterprises in less competitive industries,and enterprises in unfavorable business *** mechanism analysis revealed that the digital economy may restrain innovation-washing behavior by reducing information asymmetry between enterprises and external *** terms of economic outcomes,the digital economy has the potential to directly influence firm innovation output while also indirectly mitigating the subsequent decline in innovation output by discouraging *** paper enriches the research findings on how the digital economy breaks down“information silos”and offers a potential solution to the“emphasis on input and quantity over quality and efficiency”phenomenon in science and technology innovation practices.

EBD-YOLO：a lightweight auxiliary driving detection algorithm based on YOLOv5

A lightweight road-assistant detection algorithm， EBD-YOLO， based on YOLOv5s is proposed to address the problems of high model complexity， computation cost， and difficulty in deployment on resource-limited embedded terminals in existing assisted driving detection algorithms. First， lightweight Transformer model EfficientViT was used as the backbone feature extraction network of YOLOv5s model to reduce network parameters and calculation costs. Secondly， a Focal-GIoU Loss function is proposed for bounding box regression to accelerate model convergence and reduce loss. Thirdly， the feature pyramid structure is improved to a weighted bi-directional feature pyramid network (BiFPN) to enhance localization and semantic features. Then， a dynamic head framework is added to unify the attention mechanism with the object detection head to improve its performance. Finally， a Soft-CIoU＿NMS algorithm is proposed in the post-processing stage to enhance occluded targets' localization and detection ability and reduce the missed detection rate. We conducted experiments on the KITTI and BDD100K datasets for autonomous driving， and the results showed that the EBD-YOLO model reduced in size by 38.4% and 37.2%， respectively. In comparison， the computational cost was reduced by 48.1%. As measured by mAP@0.5， the detection accuracy improved by 0.5% and 5.8%， respectively， and mAP@0.5:0.95 improved by 2.8% and 7%， respectively. These improvements satisfied the requirements for deployment on embedded terminals in cars.

TRIM66-HP1γ remodels the chromatin through phase separation

Chromatin contains not only heterochromatin (HC) and euchromatins (EC) but also facultative heterochromatin (fHC), which experience the dynamic remodeling between HCs and ECs by different regulators. The regulation of fHCs involves lots of different cell functions, like genomic stability and gene transcription. Heterochromatin protein 1 (HP1) recognizes methylated H3K9 and reshapes the chromatin into the fHCs through liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS). Among the three members of the HP1 family, HP1α can condensate by itself and HP1β forms granules with the help of TRIM28, while the HP1γ cannot phase separation alone either and the coordinator is still unclear. So, in this study, we investigated the molecular mechanism of how HP1γ interacts with TRIM66 through PxVxL motif. Based on that, we examined the key regions that controlled the TRIM66-HP1γ co-phase separation behaviors both in vitro and in vivo. Furthermore, we proved that the liquid granules of TRIM66-HP1γ and chromatin highly correlated with H3K9me3 sites, which indicated the relationship with DNA damage response. Finally, combined with our previous study, we proposed the system for how TRIM66 remodeled the chromatin into compressed fHC through the TRIM66-HP1γ-H3K9me3 axis with liquid–liquid phase separation.

The selective construction of sophisticated supramolecular topologies has always attracted the remarkable attention of ***,various molecular knots and catenanes have recently been reported and were obtained either accidentally or by following a previously planned synthetic ***,we introduce a series of supramolecular topologies including double trefoil knot (1),trefoil knot (2) and[2]catenanes (4,5),which were prepared via an elaborated self-assembly strategy by using half-sandwich units based on a flexible pyridyl linker *** formation of all the structures has been confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis and NMR spectroscopy,and ***,the central potassium ion of 1 coordinates six oxygen atoms belonging to six amide groups from two trefoil *** double trefoil knot 1 and[2]catenanes 4,5 are stabilized by parallel-displacedπ···πstacking interactions (of interlayer distance 3.34–3.82?) between the pyridyl fraction and phenyl moieties of three ligands L1,and by edge-to-face-type CH···πinteractions (2.64–2.83?) between BiBzIm conjugated planes and phenyl hydrocarbon ***,the addition/removal of potassium ions resulted in topological transformation between the double trefoil knot 1 and the trefoil knot *** addition,the addition of DMF-d7to a methanolic solution of the double trefoil knot 1 induced its structural conversion into the metallamacrocycle *** photothermal studies of 1,4,and 5 showed different photothermal responses in solid and solution ***,the photothermal conversion efficiencies of 4,and 5 were within the limit of 16.8%–45.1%based on different power areas,the number and the fashion ofπ···πstacking interactions can directly affect the photothermal conversion efficiency,and EPR experiments confirmed the recorded results.

How to select favorable and promising alleles and genotypes for breeding: A case study of rice blast resistance genes in Southern and Northeastern China

Asian rice comprises two major subspecies: Xian (X) and Geng (G), and the diverged resistance genes (R) have provided a foundation for breeding improved cultivars to control rice blast disease. After conducting two-phase allele mining using six updated FNP marker systems, the functional haplotypes at Pit, Pib, and Pi63 strictly diverged into the X-populations and were defined as X-R loci, while those at Pi54, Pi37, and Pi36 into the G-populations as G-R loci. The genic diversity at the three X-R loci (16 alleles) was twofold higher than that at the three G-R loci (8 alleles), and the allelic diversity in the Southern region (21 alleles) was nearly double that in the Northeastern region (11 alleles). Both observations reflect a significant difference in genetic diversity between X- and G-populations, and indicate that the effective R-genes mainly originated from X-subspecies. Based on the allelic structures characterized by a set of 10 parameters, 8 and 16 alleles were respectively recognized as favorable and promising ones for the regional breeding programs. The genotypic structures of the two regional populations were almost different, indicating that the diverged alleles have been further assembled into two series of regional genotypes through long-term breeding programs, despite the presence of one-third of region-common alleles. The genotypic diversity in the Southern region (55 genotypes) was nearly twice as high as that in the Northeastern region (28), which perfectly reflects the aforementioned differences in both genic and allelic diversities. After analyzing the genotypic structures using a set of 13 parameters, 4 and 23 genotypes, respectively, can be recommended as the favorable and promising ones for the regional breeding programs. The case study serves as a concrete sample of how to identify the favorable and promising alleles and genotypes, and beneficial parents based their comprehensive population structures for gene-designed breeding. © 2025 Crop Sc

Gas quenching and vacuum quenching process are widely applied to accelerate solvent volatilization to induce nucleation of perovskites in blade-coating *** this work,we found these two pre-crystallization processes lead to different order of crystallization dynamics within the perovskite thin film,resulting in the differences of additive *** then tailor-designed an additive molecule named 1,3-bis(4-methoxyphenyl)thiourea to obtain films with fewer defects and holes at the buried interface,and prepared perovskite solar cells with a certified efficiency of 23.75%.Furthermore,this work also demonstrates an efficiency of 20.18%for the large-area perovskite solar module(PSM)with an aperture area of 60.84 cm^(2).The PSM possesses remarkable continuous operation stability for maximum power point tracking of T_(90)>1000 h in ambient air.

Numerical Simulation of the Flow and Heat Transfer in Novel Circumfluent Cyclone Separator during High-Temperature Converter Gas Recovery

In the novel fully dry converter gas recovery process, a novel circumfluent cyclone separator with an evaporation heating surface can simultaneously realize the dust removal and sensible heat recovery of converter gas. For this equipment, the distributions of internal flow and wall heat transfer affect the efficiency of dust removal and sensible heat recovery. In this study, based on on-site operation tests, the distributions of internal flow and wall heat transfer in the circumfluent cyclone separator are studied by numerical simulation. The results indicate that the flow rate proportions in different regions of the circumfluent cyclone separator remain constant during the steelmaking process, approximately 80.1% of the converter gas flows through the cone chamber, and 15.4% of the converter gas flows through the annular chamber. The heat transfer rate proportions on the walls of different regions of the circumfluent cyclone separator remain constant during the steelmaking process, and the heat transfer rate proportions on the walls of the cone chamber, straight shell, shell head and outlet pipe are 40.2%, 27.0%, 17.6% and 15.2%, respectively.
