A combined study using LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating, Hf isotopes, trace elements and the Ti-in-zircon geothermometer was carried out on zircons from the metamorphosed basic-ultrabasic rocks in the metamorphic basement of the Cathaysia Block, southwestern Zhejiang Province. The formation and metamorphic ages of the rocks from the metamorphic basement of the Cathaysia Block were determined based on zircon U-Pb geochronology. The age for the magmatic crystalline zircons from the protolith is about 1.85 Ga. The ε Hf (t) values of the older zircons were from ?7 to ?3, with two-stage model Hf ages (T DM2 LC ) of about 2.9 to 3.4 Ga, indicating that the source material was derived from anatexis and recycling of the Archean crust. The newly formed metamorphic zircons yielded U-Pb ages of 260–230 Ma. The metamorphic temperature calculated using the Ti-in-zircon geothermometer ranged from 610 to 720°C, consistent with the results from petrographic observations, indicating that the Cathaysia Block experienced an amphibolite facies metamorphism during the Indosinian. Results from this study provided an important timeframe for the tectonic evolution in South China and the Southeast Asia during the Late Permian and Early Triassic times.

Objective:The aim of this study was to investigate the biological effects of occupational extremely low-frequency electromagnetic field(ELF-EMF)exposure on the thyroid ***:We conducted a prospective analysis of 85 workers(exposure group)exposed to an ELF-EMF(100μT,10-100 Hz)produced by the electromagnetic aircraft launch system and followed up on thyroid function indices,immunological indices,and color Doppler images for 3 ***,116 healthy volunteers were randomly selected as controls(control group),the thyroid function of whom was compared to the exposure ***:No significant difference was observed in thyroid function between the exposure and control *** the follow-up of the exposure group,the serum free triiodothyronine(FT3)level was found to slowly decrease and free thyroxine(FT4)level slowly increase with increasing exposure ***,no significant difference was found in thyroid-stimulating hormone(TSH)over the three years,and no significant difference was observed in the FT3,FT4 and TSH levels between different exposure ***,no significant changes were observed in thyroid autoantibody levels and ultrasound images between subgroups or over ***:Long-term exposure to ELF-EMF may promote thyroid secretion of T4 and inhibit deiodination of T4 to ***-EMF has no significant effect on thyroid immune function and morphology.

A Turn-On Fluorescence Chemosensor for Cyanide in Aqueous Media Based on a Nucleophilic Addition Reaction

We synthesized a new cyanide （CN-） chemosensor CX based on a nucleophilic addition reaction prompted by cyanide ion, which could be used for highly selective and sensitive fluorescence turn-on detection of cyanide in aqueous media. The CX showed selective fluorescence recognition for CN-, the miscellaneous competitive anions （F-, Cl-, Br-, I-, AcO-, H2PO4, HSO4, ClO4, S2-, PO4^3-, CO3^2- and SCN- ） did not lead to any significant interference. The detection limit of the sensor towards CN is 1.15 × 10^-7 mol.L- 1. The sensor has been successfully applied to estimate the cyanide ion in seeds of cherries. Test strips based on CX were fabricated, which could be used as a convenient and efficient CN test kit to detect CN in aqueous solution for ＂in-the-field＂ measurement.

Six new ent-abietane diterpenoids,abientaphlogatones A−F(1−6),along with two undescribed ent-abietane diterpenoid glucosides,abientaphlogasides A−B(7−8)and four known analogs were isolated from the aerial parts of Phlogacanthus curviflorus(***).The structures of these compounds were determined using high-resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry(HR-ESI-MS),one-dimensional and two-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)spectroscopy,electronic circular dichroism(ECD)spectra,and quantum chemical ***,compounds 5 and 6 represented the first reported instances of entnorabietane diterpenoids from the genus *** theβ-hematin formation inhibition assay,compounds 2,4,7−10,and 12 displayed antimalarial activity,with IC_(50) values of 12.97−65.01μmol·L−***,compounds 4,5,8,and 10 demonstrated neuroprotective activity in PC12 cell injury models induced by H_(2)O_(2) and MPP+.

Research on the detecting methods of singularity in deformation signal based on two kinds of wavelet entropy

There are various influencing factors that affect the deformation observation, and deformation signals show differ- ent characteristics under different scales. Wavelet analysis possesses multi-scale property, and the information entropy has great representational capability to the complexity of information. By hamming window to the wavelet coefficients and windowed wavelet energy obtained by multi-resolution analysis （MRA）, it can be achieved to measure the wavelet time entropy （WTE） and wavelet energy entropy （WEE）. The paper established deformation signals, selected the parameters, and compared the sin- gularity detection ability and anti-noise ability of two kinds of wavelet entropy and applied them to the singularity detection at the GPS continuously operating reference stations. It is shown that the WTE performs well in weak singularity information de- tection in finite frequency components signals and the WEE is more suitable for detecting the singularity in the signals with complex, strong background noise.

γ-Fe2O3 nanoparticles were successfully synthesized by a chemically induced transformation of α-*** this method,the precursor(α-FeOOH)was prepared by chemical precipitation,and then treated with a mixed FeCl2/NaOH solution to produce the nanoparticles.X-ray diffraction indicated that when the precursor was treated with FeCl2(0.22 mol/L)and NaOH(0.19 mol/L),pure γ-Fe2O3 nanoparticles were ***,when the concentration of FeCl2 was<0.22 mol/L or the concentration of NaOH was<0.19 mol/L,α-FeOOH and γ-Fe2O3 phases co-existed in the *** electron microscopy observations showed that in the samples with co-existing phases,the nanoparticles did not have identical *** pure γ-Fe2O3 nanoparticles were polygonal rather than *** volume ratio of α-FeOOH and γ-Fe2O3 was estimated for the two-phase samples from magnetization data obtained from a vibrating sample *** chemically induced transformation is novel,and could provide an effective route for the synthesis of other metal oxide nanocrystallites.

Determination of carbendazim in tea using surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy

Surface-enhanced Raman scattering（SERS） is applied to detect the concentration of carbendzim（CBZ） in tea leaves. Au colloid is selected and used for active surfaces, and the extraction conditions are optimized in the experiment. The linearity range for the SERS intensity and the concentration of CBZ is found to be0.5 to 8 mg kgà1. The detection limit for CBZ is 0.1 mg kgà1and its recovery in tea samples is 72.3%. The detection results for CBZ using this method are compared with those of HPLC, and no obvious difference can be found. In addition, by dripping the condensed Au colloid on the tea leaves, the proposed SERS approach could be used to the in-situ determination of the half life period of CBZ on tea leaves.

Long noncoding RNAs(lncRNAs)are known to be involved in transcriptional regulation and their deregulation is associated with the development of human diseases such as cancer.1,2 LncRNA can directly bind to purine-rich double-stranded DNA sequences through Hoogsteen base pairing to form an RNA-DNA triplex motifs and regulate gene expression.3,4,5 However,its regulatory mechanisms and functions in tumors remain ***,we report that the LMNTD2 antisense RNA 1(LMNTD2-AS1,also known as AP006284.1)is highly expressed in prostate cancer(PCa)and positively correlated with the expression of its adjacent coding gene N-terminal Ras-association domain family 7(RASSF7).Mechanistically,AP006284.1 tethers to the RASSF7 promoter via RNA-DNA triplexes in cis-acting manner,which enhances chromatin accessibility and recruits the transcription factor complex GNL3/SFPQ to activate the expression of RASSF7,a repressor of the Hippo signaling ***,overexpression of either AP006284.1 or RASSF7 inactivated the Hippo signaling and malignant proliferation of PCa cells.

The biaxially textured ion beam-assisted deposited(IBAD)-MgO templates were successfully prepared on polycrystalline Hastelloy metal substrate with reel-to-reel system for YB2Cu3O7-d(YBCO)-coated *** the solution deposition planarization technique,amorphous Y2O3films were coated on untreated Hastelloy substrate as the bed layer to obtain smooth,dense,and crack-free surface for subsequent IBAD-MgO *** 50 m long IBAD-MgO and homo-epitaxial(epi)-MgO buffer layers deposited on Y2O3films exhibit excellent crystallographic consistency along the scope with full width half maximum(FWHM)values of(110)DU and(200)Dx in the range of 5.5°–6.0°and3.0°–3.5°,*** match the lattice constant of YBCO material,LaMnO3cap layer was fabricated on IBAD-MgO templates by radio frequency(rf)magnetron sputtering with the FWHM values of in-plane and out-ofplane of 6.8°and 3.7°,respectively,indicating excellent biaxial texture.
