Prostate cancer(PCa)is a common malignant tumor with high morbidity and mortality *** prostate cancer stem cell(PCSC)model provides novel insights into the pathogenesis of PCa and its therapeutic ***,the roles and molecular mechanisms of specific genes in mediating fate decisions of PCSCs and carcinogenesis of PCa remain to be *** this study,we have explored the expression,function,and mechanism of AZGP1P2,a pseudogene of AZGP1,in regulating the stemness and apoptosis of PCSCs and treatment resistance of docetaxel in castration-resistant prostate cancer(CRPC).We revealed that AZGP1P2 was downregulated in CRPC cell lines and PCSCs,while it was positively associated with progression-free *** of the AZGP1P2 enhanced the sensitivity of docetaxel treatment in CRPCs via inhibiting their *** pull-down associated with mass spectrometry analysis,co-immunoprecipitation assay,and RNA immunoprecipitation assay demonstrated that AZGP1P2 could bind to UBA1 and RBM15 as a“writer”of methyltransferase to form a ***1,an E1 ubiquitin-activating enzyme,contributed to RBM15 protein degradation via ubiquitination *** RNA immunoprecipitation assay displayed that RBM15 controlled the mRNA decay of TPM1 in m6A ***,a xenograft mouse model and patient-derived organoids showed that the therapeutic effect of docetaxel in CRPC was increased by AZGP1P2 in ***,these results imply that AZGP1P2 mediates the stemness and apoptosis of PCSCs and promotes docetaxel therapeutic effect by suppressing tumor growth and metastasis via UBA1/RBM15-mediated TPM1 mRNA decay in CRPC.

To analyze the effects of a time-varying viscosity on the penetration length of grouting,in this study cement slur-ries with varying water-cement ratios have been investigated using the bingham’sﬂuidﬂow equation and a dis-crete element method.Aﬂuid-solid coupling numerical model has been introduced accordingly,and its accuracy has been validated through comparison of theoretical and numerical *** different fracture forms(a single fracture,a branch fracture,and a fracture network),the inﬂuence of the time-varying viscosity on the slurry length range has been investigated,considering the change in the fracture *** results show that under different fracture forms and the same grouting process conditions,the inﬂuence of the time-varying viscosity on the seepage length is 0.350 m.

Stabilization of cathode electrolyte interphase for aqueous zinc-ion batteries

An improved bound on accelerated light dark matter

Light(sub-GeV)dark matter has gained increasing interest in terms of direct *** dark matter is a promising candidate that can generate detectable nuclear recoil energy within the sub-GeV *** of the large kinetic energy,its interactions with the nucleus are predominantly governed by inelastic scattering,including quasi-elastic and deep inelastic *** this work,we calculated the inelastic effects in dark matter-Earth scattering mediated by a vector *** analysis revealed that the impact of inelastic scattering relies on the mediator mass and the kinetic energy spectrum of dark *** results exhibited considerable disparity:the upper bounds of the exclusion limit for the spin-independent cross-section between accelerated dark matter and nuclei via a heavy mediator differ by several tens of times when inelastic scattering is considered.

The dynamic characteristics of different airflows on micro-scales have been explored from many perspectives since the late *** the one hand,most analytical tools and research subjects in previous contributions vary significantly:some only focus on fluctuant velocity features,while others pay attention to directional *** the other hand,despite the wide variety of existing analytical methods,they are not systematically classified and *** paper aims to establish a system including state-of-the-art tools for airflow analysis and to further design a holistic toolkit named Airflow Analytical Toolkit(AAT).The AAT contains two tools,responsible for analyzing the velocity and direction characteristics of airflows,each of which is integrated with multiple analytical *** assess the performance of the developed toolkit,we further take typical natural and mechanical winds as cases to show its excellent analytical *** the help of this toolkit,the great differences in velocity and directional characteristics among different airflows are *** comparative results reveal that not only is the velocity of natural wind more fluctuating than that of mechanical wind,but its incoming flow direction is also more *** AAT,serving as a powerful and user-friendly instrument,will hopefully offer great convenience in data analysis and guidance for a deeper understanding of the dynamic characteristics of airflows,and further remedy the gap in airflow analytical tools.

Value of multiple models of diffusion-weighted imaging to predict hepatic lymph node metastases in colorectal liver metastases patients

BACKGROUND About 10%-31% of colorectal liver metastases(CRLM)patients would concomitantly show hepatic lymph node metastases(LNM),which was considered as sign of poor biological behavior and a relative contraindication for liver *** to now,there’s still lack of reliable preoperative methods to assess the status of hepatic lymph nodes in patients with CRLM,except for pathology examination of lymph node after *** To compare the ability of mono-exponential,bi-exponential,and stretchedexponential diffusion-weighted imaging(DWI)models in distinguishing between benign and malignant hepatic lymph nodes in patients with CRLM who received neoadjuvant chemotherapy prior to *** In this retrospective study,97 CRLM patients with pathologically confirmed hepatic lymph node status underwent magnetic resonance imaging,including DWI with ten b values before and after *** parameters,such as the apparent diffusion coefficient from the mono-exponential model,and the true diffusion coefficient,the pseudo-diffusion coefficient,and the perfusion fraction derived from the intravoxel incoherent motion model,along with distributed diffusion coefficient(DDC)andαfrom the stretched-exponential model(SEM),were *** parameters before and after chemotherapy were compared between positive and negative hepatic lymph node groups.A nomogram was constructed to predict the hepatic lymph node *** reliability and agreement of the measurements were assessed using the coefficient of variation and intraclass correlation *** Multivariate analysis revealed that the pre-treatment DDC value and the short diameter of the largest lymph node after treatment were independent predictors of metastatic hepatic lymph nodes.A nomogram combining these two factors demonstrated excellent performance in distinguishing between benign and malignant lymph nodes in CRLM patients,with an area under the curve of ***,parameters from SEM sho
