Spin-orbit torque （SOT）,as a promising writing method for magnetic random-access memory （MRAM）,has garnered widespread interest for over a decade [1].Heavy metals,such as β-W,have been broadly adopted as spin current sources,but suffer from phase change at a limited thickness,resulting in a dramatic reduction of the charge-tospin conversion efficiency θSH[2].The thickness limitation leads to stringent etching conditions and large distribution among devices,posing challenges for simultaneously satisfying SOT efficiency,etching-stop margins,and back-end-ofline （BEOL） compatibility.

The photosynthesis of hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))through the selective 2e^(-)oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)from O_(2)and H_(2)O stands out as an environmentally sustainable and cost-effective method for generating this essential ***,the widespread application of most photocatalysts is impeded by their reliance on sacrificial *** this context,we present a noteworthy advancement in the form of a step-scheme(S-scheme)heterojunction involving a donor-acceptor(D-A)-conjugated polymer and manganese cadmium sulfide(BTz@MCS).This innovative configuration enables efficient photocatalytic H_(2)O_(2)production within a non-sacrificial system,showcasing an impressive H_(2)O_(2)yield of 5,368μmol g^(-1)h^(-1)and an apparent quantum yield of 4.5%at 420 *** insights gained from in-situ irradiated X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(ISIXPS),in-situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transformations spectroscopy(DRIFTS),and density function calculations(DFT),it is revealed that the sp^(2)C between thiazole-thiazole rings at the BTz and the concentrated holes at the MCS function as spatially separated redox *** centers catalyze the selective 2e^(-)ORR and 4e^(-)water oxidation reaction(WOR)*** O_(2)generated from the WOR is subsequently utilized by the ORR cycle,enabling the overall photosynthesis of H_(2)O_(2)with accelerated total reaction ***,the high photocatalytic performance of the developed catalyst is attributed to well-designed S-scheme heterojunctions with tuned band *** spatially separated redox centers and effective transfer of photogenerated charge carriers facilitated by the internal electric field significantly enhance reaction *** study introduces a promising avenue for photocatalytic H_(2)O_(2)production without sacrificial agents,providing valuable insights into the underlying mechanisms in S-scheme heterojunctions.

Stretched polyethylene(PE)fibers are found to have super high thermal conductivity,while the bulk of polyethylene is usually thermal insulating even for those with high crystalline degree.A molecular dynamic simulation is deliberately carried out to examine the relationship between chain configuration and thermal conductivity of *** this simulation study,independent and interacting PE chains being stretched are compared with the aim to find out the effect of stretching on thermal conductivity of *** crystallization conditions for PE bulk are *** is found that heat transports predominately along the covalent chain rather than across chains in PE *** simulation study helps to understand experimental findings on thermal conductivity of PE at different states.W e also predict that amorphous PE may be super thermally conductive if chains are strictly stretched along heat flux.

A retrofitting technology using precast steel reinforced concrete（PSRC） panels is developed to improve the seismic performance of old masonry buildings. The PSRC panels are built up as an external PSRC wall system surrounding the existing masonry building. The PSRC walls are well connected to the existing masonry building, which provides enough confinement to effectively improve the ductility, strength, and stiffenss of old masonry structures. The PSRC panels are prefabricated in a factory, significantly reducing the situ work and associated construction time. To demonstrate the feasibility and mechanical effectivenss of the proposed retrofitting system, a full-scale five-story specimen was constructed. The retrofitting process was completed within five weeks with very limited indoor operation. The specimen was then tested in the lateral direction, which could potentially suffer sigifnicant damage in a large earthquake. The technical feasibility, construction workability, and seismic performance were thoroughly demonstrated by a full-scale specimen construction and pseudo-dynamic tests.

In this work,we discovered an unexpected mechanoluminescence (ML) phenomena occurring when transforming amorphous into crystalline,due to the stress-induced precipitation of CsPbBr3 perovskite nanocrystals on glass *** is revealed that,unlike the conventional thermal-induced phase transformation mechanism,the breakage of bonding of glass network provides the energy for nucleation and growth,and the shear stress avoids the long-range migration of structural units for *** unique ML phenomenon enables the visualization of dynamical force that is inaccessible by common strategy,and so,opens up some novel applications,such as the pressure-sensitive "glassy pencil" to learn people's writing habits,and the pb^2+-detection with good sensitivity and *** findings not only demonstrate an effective route for the preparation of perovskite materials in a green,time-saving,low cost,and scalable way,enrich the knowledge of glass crystallization mechanism,but also exploit a useful avenue to quantitatively visualize the dynamical force.

Improved activity of Ni-Mo/SiO_(2) bimetallic catalyst synthesized via sol-gel method for methylcyclohexane cracking

To improve the cracking behavior of hydrocarbon,Ni-Mo/SiO_(2) bimetallic catalysts were synthesized by different preparation methods(sol-gel,co-impregnation and single-impregnation) and added the additives(citric acid,polyethylene glycol and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide) based on the most suitable method *** cracking reaction of methylcyclohexane under supercritical conditions was performed as the probe reaction to estimate the catalytic performance,and the properties of Ni-Mo/SiO_(2) catalyst were characterized by N_(2) absorption-desorption,XRD,XPS,H_(2)-TPR,NH_(3)-TPD,in-situ IR of NH_(3) desorption,HRTEM and STEM-mapping so as to study the structure-activity *** catalyst synthesized via sol-gel method showed the best conversion and heat sink,being 81.8% and 3.81 MJ/kg,which was closely related to strong mutual effect between active components and SiO_(2) as well as strong acid ***,the introduction of additives by sol-gel method has an affirmative influence on properties of Ni-Mo/SiO_(2) catalysts,being that the acidity(more L and B acid sites) was modulated and organic groups interact with metal to suppress the aggregation of metal species(Ni and Mo),thereby enhancing the catalytic *** 750℃,the conversion(89.3%) as well as heat sink(3.99 MJ/kg) of MCH cracking obtained an optimum over Ni-Mo/SiO_(2) catalyst with addition of citric acid.

In this study, the gradient grain induced by punching deformation and recovery treatment on a cupronickel alloy surface sample were investigated, and their effects on corrosion resistance were measured by atom force microscopy(AFM), X-ray diffraction(XRD),electrochemical measurement, electron work function(EWF), and contact electrical resistance(CER). The cupronickel alloy surface experienced punching deformation for 60 min and recovery at 300 ℃ for 1 h to produce gradient surface. The grain size measured by XRD is bigger than that measured by AFM, due to X-ray intensity of95 % produced at the depth of 12-20 μm for the crystal planes of(111),(200), and(220). The gradient grain surface, compared to the original surface, shows a 13.7-fold decrease in passivation current density(i), and corrosion potential(Ec) increases by approximately 9.8 %. These results are attributable to the increase in EWF and formation of passivation film with better adhesion and compactness after treatment.
