Dimensionality reduction （DR） methods based on sparse representation as one of the hottest research topics have achieved remarkable performance in many applications in recent years. However, it＇s a challenge for existing sparse representation based methods to solve nonlinear problem due to the limitations of seeking sparse representation of data in the original space. Motivated by kernel tricks, we proposed a new framework called empirical kernel sparse representation （EKSR） to solve nonlinear problem. In this framework, non- linear separable data are mapped into kernel space in which the nonlinear similarity can be captured, and then the data in kernel space is reconstructed by sparse representation to preserve the sparse structure, which is obtained by minimiz- ing a ~1 regularization-related objective function. EKSR pro- vides new insights into dimensionality reduction and extends two models： 1） empirical kernel sparsity preserving projec- tion （EKSPP）, which is a feature extraction method based on sparsity preserving projection （SPP）; 2） empirical kernel sparsity score （EKSS）, which is a feature selection method based on sparsity score （SS）. Both of the two methods can choose neighborhood automatically as the natural discrimi- native power of sparse representation. Compared with sev- eral existing approaches, the proposed framework can reduce computational complexity and be more convenient in prac- tice.

Real-time perceiving and monitoring energy consumption data through cyber-physical energy system is extremely important for saving energy. The purpose of this research is to analyze energy consumption data to identify any abnormalities.

Antibiotic wastewater contains a variety of pollutant stressors that can induce and promote antibiotic resistance(AR)when released into the *** these substances are mostly in concentrations lower than those known to induce AR individually,it is possible that antibiotic wastewater discharge might still promote the AR transmission risk via additive or synergistic ***,the comprehensive effect of antibiotic wastewater on AR development has rarely been evaluated,and its treatment efficiency remains ***,samples were collected from different stages of a cephalosporin production wastewater treatment plant,and the potential AR induction effect of their chemical mixtures was explored through the exposure of the antibiotic-sensitive Escherichia coli K12 *** with raw cephalosporin production wastewater significantly promoted mutation rates(3.6×10^(3)-9.3×10^(3)-fold)and minimum inhibition concentrations(6.0-6.7-fold)of *** against ampicillin and *** may be attributed to the inhibition effect and oxidative stress of cephalosporin wastewater on *** AR induction effect of cephalosporin wastewater decreased after the coagulation sedimentation treatment and was completely removed after the full treatment process.A Pearson correlation analysis revealed that the reduction in the AR induction effect had a strong positive correlation with the removal of organics and biological *** indicates that the antibiotic wastewater treatment had a collaborative processing effect of conventional pollutants,toxicity,and the AR induction *** study illustrates the potential AR transmission risk of antibiotic wastewater and highlights the need for its adequate treatment.

In the network security field,the network intrusion detection system(NIDS)is considered one of the critical issues in the detection accuracy andmissed detection *** this paper,amethod of two-step network intrusion detection on the basis of GoogLeNet Inception and deep convolutional neural networks(CNNs)models is *** proposed method used the GoogLeNet Inception model to identify the network packets’binary ***,the characteristics of the packets’raw data and the traffic features are *** CNNs model is also used to identify the multiclass intrusions by the network packets’*** the experimental results,the proposed method shows an improvement in the identification accuracy,where it achieves up to 99.63%.In addition,the missed detection rate is reduced to be 0.1%.The results prove the high performance of the proposed method in enhancing the NIDS’s reliability.

Agricultural land use and management practices may affect soil properties,which play a critical role in sustaining crop *** the late 1970s,several new agricultural land use types had been introduced in the rural areas of *** purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of these land use changes on the soil properties,nu-trient absorption rate,and nutrient use economic efficiency ratio in an agricultural area of ***,the cropland,the orchard and the vegetable field were *** of this study suggest that land use and farming management practices significantly affect the content of soil organic carbon (SOC),total nitrogen (TN),total phos-phorus (TP),and available phosphorus in the surface layer of 0-25 cm (p<0.05) in the Yanqing Basin,northwestern *** nutrients in each agricultural land use type decrease rapidly with the increasing soil *** and vegetable field tend to have higher soil nutrients than the cropland ***,the soil nutrient-absorption rate (NAR) of the orchard and vegetable field is lower than that of the cropland,even though orchard and vegetable field may provide much higher economic *** increasing SOC,TN,and TP in the orchard and vegetable field by intensive farming may be a valuable option to improve soil quality,potential increase in the risk of nutrient loss,or agricultural non-point source pollution can be a tradeoff if the intensive practices are not managed appropriately.

The biosynthesis of antibiotics is controlled by cascade regulation involving cluster-situated regulators (CSRs) and pleiotropic regulators. Three CSRs have been identified in the jadomycin biosynthetic gene cluster, including one OmpR-type activator (JadR1) and two TetR-like repressors (JadR* and JadR2). To examine their interactions in jadomycin biosynthesis, a series of mutants were generated and tested for jadomycin production. We noticed that jadomycin production in the jadR*-jadR2 double mutant was increased dramatically compared with either single mutant. Transcriptional analysis showed that jadR* and jadR2 act synergistically to repress jadomycin production by inhibiting the transcription of jadR1. Furthermore, jadR* and jadR2 reciprocally inhibit each other. The complex interactions among these three CSRs may provide clues for the activation of the jadomycin gene cluster, which would otherwise remain silent without stimulation from stress signals.

Nighttime enhancements in ionospheric electron density at mid- and low-latitudes are investigated by using the critical frequency of the F2-1ayer （foF2） data measured from ionosonde stations at Okinawa （26.3°N, 127.8°E, Geomagnetic 15.3°N）, Yamagawa （31.2°N, 130.6°E, Geomagnetic 20.4°N）, Kokubunji （35.7°N, 139.5°E, Geomagnetic 25.5°N）, and Wakkanai （45.4°N, 141.7°E, Geomagnetic 35.4°N） in East Asia during several solar cycles. The results show that there are obvious seasonal and solar activity dependencies of the nighttime electron density enhancements. The enhancements are termed pre-midnight enhancement and post-midnight enhancement, according to the local time when the enhancement appeared. The former has a higher occurrence probability in summer months than in winter months. In contrast, the latter has a larger occurrence probability in winter months than in summer months. Moreover, the nighttime enhancements in electron density are more likely to occur at lower solar activity. These seasonal and solar activity variations of the nighttime enhancements in electron density can be explained in terms of the combined effects of downward plasma flux from the plasmasphere and the neutral winds.

Acute postoperative pain is commonly treated with flurbiprofen(FBP),but conventional delivery methods are *** study prepared a new non-burst release microneedles(MNs)using genipin cross-linked gelatin(cGel).By adding varying amounts of genipin to modulate the crosslinking degree of cGel,the drug release behavior of the drug-loaded MNs in the skin can be *** crosslinking parameters that meet therapeutic requirements are selected,thus providing rapid and longlasting analgesic *** solutions were successfully cross-linked,altering matrix material microstructure,confirmed by scanning electron microscope imaging and fourier transform infrared *** demonstrated increasing mechanical strength with higher *** release rates were rapid initially,then slowed,exhibiting a characteristic of decreased release rates with increasing degrees of *** vivo,FBP/cGel MNs significantly reduced allodynia and hyperalgesia post-surgery,with the greatest effect observed at 2–3 h post-surgery,and can maintain analgesia for up to 6 *** tests confirmed good ***/cGel MNs effectively penetrate the stratum corneum,safely delivering drugs with significant analgesic effects,excellent mechanical properties,and good biocompatibility,representing a promising strategy for managing acute postoperative pain.

Objective:The objective of this study was to construct an early warning system(EWS)to facilitate risk assessment,early identification,and appropriate treatment of enteral nutrition feeding intolerance(FI)in patients with stroke,so as to provide a reference for risk classification standards and interventions toward a complete EWSs for nursing care of *** and Methods:Based on evidence and clinical nursing practice,a structured expert consultation method was adopted on nine experts over two rounds of *** analysis was used to determine the early warning index for FI in patients with ***:The expert authority coefficient was 0.89;the coefficients of variation for the two rounds of consultation were 0.088-0.312 and 0.096-0.214,*** were significant differences in the Kendall’s concordance coefficient(P<0.05).Finally,22 items in five dimensions of patient age,disease,treatment,biochemical,and enteral nutrition-related factors were ***:The early warning index for FI in patients with a history of stroke is valid and *** provides a reference for the early clinical identification of FI risk.
