Synergistic enhancement of immunological responses triggered by hyperthermia sensitive Pt NPs via NIR laser to inhibit cancer relapse and metastasis

The combination of tumor ablation and immunotherapy is a promising strategy against tumor relapse and *** therapy(PTT)triggers the release of tumor-specific antigens and damage associated molecular patterns(DAMPs)***,the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment restrains the activity of the effector immune ***,systematic immunomodulation is critical to stimulate the tumor microenvironment and augment the anti-tumor therapeutic *** this end,polyethylene glycol(PEG)-stabilized platinum(Pt)nanoparticles(Pt NPs)conjugated with a PD-L1 inhibitor(BMS-1)through a thermo-sensitive linkage were *** near-infrared(NIR)exposure,BMS-1 was released and maleimide(Mal)was exposed on the surface of Pt NPs,which captured the antigens released from the ablated tumor cells,resulting in the enhanced antigen internalization and *** addition,the Pt NPs acted as immune adjuvants by stimulating dendritic cells(DCs)***,BMS-1 relieved T cell exhaustion and induced the infiltration of effector T cells into the tumor ***,Pt NPs can ablate tumors through PTT,and augment the anti-tumor immune response through enhanced antigen presentation and T cells infiltration,thereby preventing tumor relapse and metastasis.

Chemotherapeutic and radiation therapy have emerged as two most important treatment strategies to treat cancer in clinical practice;however,to improve anticancer efficacy,combination chemotherapy still remains ***(DCA)could produce significant cytotoxic effects in certain tumor cells through its distinct *** therapy with fast neutrons(FNT)has high relative biolgical effectiveness compared to other ***,we reported the combination chemotherapy with FNT for effective tumor growth inhibition with the assistance of a multilayered nanofiber loading DCA and DCA *** first synthesized a biodegradable polylysine to condense DCA with negative charge,or to conjugate DCA by condensing synthesis,to obtain Ion-DCA and Co-DCA,***,Ion-DCA or Co-DCA was then loaded into fibers to form multilayer drug-loaded *** adhesion on the surface of subcutaneous and orthotopic liver tumors,the multilayer drug-loaded mats realized a controllable release of DCA,which reversed the Warburg effect and inhibited cancer cell ***,irradiation of fast neutrons could seriously damage DNA *** of the controllable release of DCA and FNT resulted in synergistic cell apoptosis in vitro,and the tumor inhibition in *** study thus provides a new approach to integrate chemotherapy and FNT with the assistance of biocompatible nanofiber for synergistic tumor therapy.

A transient 3D model was established to investigate the effect of spatial interaction of ultrasounds on the dual-frequency ultrasonic field in magnesium alloy *** effects of insertion depth and tip shape of the ultrasonic rods,input pressures and their ratio on the acoustic field distribution were discussed in ***,the spacing,angle,and insertion depth of two ultrasonic rods significantly affect the interaction between distinct *** a result,various acoustic pressure distributions and cavitation regions are *** spherical rods mitigate the longitudinal and transversal attenuation of acoustic pressure and expand the cavitation volume by 53.7%and 31.7%,respectively,compared to the plate and conical *** the input pressure will enlarge the cavitation region but has no effect on the acoustic pressure distribution *** acoustic pressure ratio significantly affects the pressure distribution and the cavitation region,and the best cavitation effect is obtained at the ratio of 2:1(P15:P20).

The overabundance of the red and massive candidate galaxies observed by the James Webb Space Telescope(JWST)implies efficient structure formation or large star formation efficiency at high redshift z~*** the scenario of a low or moderate star formation efficiency,because massive neutrinos tend to suppress the growth of structure of the universe,the JWST observation tightens the upper bound of the neutrino *** A cold dark matter cosmology and a star formation efficiency∈[0.05,0.3](flat prior),we perform joint analyses of Planck+JWST and Planck+BAO+JWST,and obtain improved constraints∑m_(ν)<0.196 eV and ∑m_(ν)+<0.111 eV at 95% confidence level,*** on the above assumptions,the inverted mass ordering,which implies ∑m_(ν)≥0.1 eV,is excluded by Planck+BAO+JWST at 92.7% confidence level.

Heterosis has been exploited to enhance the yield and adaptability in various shellfish species;however,the molecular basis of it remains *** Pacific oyster Crassostrea gigas is one of the most economically important aquaculture species,and its productive traits can be improved by ***,an intraspecific cross between orange shell(O,10th generation)and‘Haida No.1’(H,13th generation)of *** was performed to assess the heterosis of survival *** rates of hybrid family(OH)and inbred families(HH and OO)were compared at larval stage,and eyed-pediveliger larvae of three families were subjected to transcriptome *** analysis results of best-parent heterosis and mid-parent heterosis showed that the hybrid family exhi-bited a high heterosis in survival relative to the parental *** OH-M(OH ***)and OH-P(OH ***)had 425 and 512 dif-ferentially expressed genes(DEGs),*** enrichment analysis of these DEGs revealed that the significantly enrich-ed genes function in virion binding,C-type lectin receptor signaling pathway,cellular defense response and other immune-related pro-cesses,which involves perlucin-like protein,CD209 antigen-like protein,ZNFX1,caspase-3 and acan *** differentially ex-pressed genes in OH-M and OH-P,together with the immune-related processes mentioned above may play an important role in the larval survival of *** addition,three genes(CYP450,fucolectin and perlucin-like)are associated with the orange shell and low survival of maternal oyster *** findings provide support for the application of hybrid with superior survival and will facilitate the understanding of heterosis formation in the Pacific oyster.
