Organ-specific metastasis is the primary cause of cancer patient death.The distant metastasis of tumor cells to specific organs depends on both the intrinsic characteristics of the tumor cells and extrinsic factors in their microenvironment.During an intermediate stage of metastasis,circulating tumor cells(CTCs)are released into the bloodstream from primary and metastatic tumors.CTCs harboring aggressive or metastatic features can extravasate to remote sites for continuous colonizing growth,leading to further lesions.In the past decade,numerous studies demonstrated that CTCs exhibited huge clinical value including predicting distant metastasis,assessing prognosis and monitoring treatment response et al.Furthermore,increasingly numerous experiments are dedicated to identifying the key molecules on or inside CTCs and exploring how they mediate CTC-related organ-specific metastasis.Based on the above molecules,more and more inhibitors are being developed to target CTCs and being utilized to completely clean CTCs,which should provide promising prospects to administer advanced tumor.Recently,the application of various nanomaterials and microfluidic technologies in CTCs enrichment technology has assisted to improve our deep insights into the phenotypic characteristics and biological functions of CTCs as a potential therapy target,which may pave the way for us to make practical clinical strategies.In the present review,we mainly focus on the role of CTCs being involved in targeted organ metastasis,especially the latest molecular mechanism research and clinical intervention strategies related to CTCs.

Spatial pattern recognition for near-surface high temperature increases in mountain areas using MODIS and SRTM DEM

Abrupt near-surface temperature changes in mountainous areas are a special component of the mountain climate system.Fast and accurate measurements of the locations,intensity,and width of the near-surface changes are necessary but highly difficult due to the complicated environmental conditions and instrumental issues.This paper develops a spatial pattern recognition method to measure the near-surface high temperature increase(NSHTI),one of the lesser-attended changes.First,raster window measurement was proposed to calculate the temperature lapse rate using MODIS land surface temperature and SRTM DEM data.It fully considers the terrain heights of two neighboring cells on opposite or adjacent slopes with a moving window of 3×3 cell size.Second,a threshold selection was performed to identify the NSHTI cells using a threshold of-0.65℃/100 m.Then,the NSHTI strips were parameterized through raster vectorization and spatial analysis.Taking Yunnan,a mountainous province in southwestern China,as the study area,the results indicate that the NSHTI cells concentrate in a strip-like pattern along the mountains and valleys,and the strips are almost parallel to the altitude contours with a slight northward uplift.Also,they are located mostly at a 3/5 height of high mountains or within 400 m from the valley floors,where the controlling topographic index is the altitude of the terrain trend surface but not the absolute elevation and the topographic uplift height and cutting depth.Additionally,the NSHTI intensity varies with the geographic locations and the proportions increase with an exponential trend,and the horizontal width has a mean of about 1000 m and a maximum of over 5000 m.The result demonstrates that the proposed method can effectively recognize NSHTI boundaries over mountains,providing support for the modeling of weather and climate systems and the development of mountain resources.

Chemical components in yellow mealworm(Tenebrio molitor L.)reared with tea powder

The yellow mealworms(Tenebrio molitor L.)were reared by different ratios of tea powder and wheat bran powder mixtures,and weighted every day during the whole 10 days rearing.The content of tea polyphenols,total catechins,catechin(C),epicatechins(EC),epigallocatechins(EGC),epicatechin gallates(ECG),epigallocatechin gallates(EGCG),and nutrition components such as protein and fatty acid in the yellow mealworms were determined after 10 days rearing.The yellow mealworms can put on weight and grow well when the proportion of tea powder belows 80%,while 100%tea powder rearing has no signifi cantly reduced the weight of yellow mealworms.The content of tea polyphenols,total catechins,C,EC,EGC,ECG,and EGCG all enhance signifi cantly along with the increase ratio of the tea powder.The protein content increase more signifi cantly at 50%and 80%ratios treatments than the other treatments.Tea powder added rearing reduces the content of saturated fatty acid,and has a complex effect on the content of unsaturated fatty acid.Comprehensive analysis of the components determined show that 50%ratio is the best for yellow mealworm rearing.

Artificial multi-enzyme cascades bear great potential for bioconversion of C1 compounds to value-added chemicals.Over the past decade,massive efforts have been devoted to constructing multi-enzyme cascades to produce glycolic acid,rare functional sugars and even starch from C1 compounds.However,in contrast to traditional fermentation utilizing C1 compounds with the expectation of competitive economic performance in future industrialization,multi-enzyme cascades systems in the proof-of-concept phase are facing the challenges of upscaling.Here,we offered an overview of the recent advances in the construction of in vitro multi-enzyme cascades and whole-cell transformation using C1 compounds as substrate.In addition,the existing challenges and possible solutions were also discussed aiming to combine the strengths of in vitro and in vivo multi-enzyme cascades systems for upscaling.

Boosted photocatalytic efficiency of GQDs sensitized(BiO)_(2)CO_(3)/β-Bi_(2)O_(3)heterojunction via enhanced interfacial charge transfer

The NO gas is easily oxidized to form toxic by-products(NO_(2))during the oxidation process,which are adsorbed on the catalyst surface and inhibit the subsequent reaction.For photocatalytic NO removal,a significant challenge is to achieve catalytic stability while maintaining high conversion efficiency.Here,we fabricated a(BiO)_(2)CO_(3)/β-Bi_(2)O_(3)heterostructure that enables efficient charge transfer and promotes the NO removal.We propose that the catalytic stability depends on the heterojunction structure,which is able to generate interfacial charge transfer channels.In addition,we further introduce graphene quantum dots on the heterojunction structure,which further strengthens the interfacial charge transfer dynamics and finally realizes that the NO_(2)byproduct could gain electrons and convert to the final product(nitrite or nitrate).This composite structure not only exhibits high activity for NO removal but also maintains long-term stability under visible light.

As a promising cathode material,Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(2)F_(3)(NVPF)has attracted wide attention for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)because of its high operating voltage and high structural stability.However,the low intrinsic electronic conductivity and insufficient Na ion mobility of NVPF limit its development.Herein,K-doping NVPF is prepared through a facile ball-milling combined calcination method.The effects of K-doping on the crystal structure,kinetic properties and electrochemical performance are investigated.The results demonstrate that the Na_(2.90)K_(0.10)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)F_(3)(K0.10-NVPF)exhibits a high capacity(120.8 mAh g^(-1) at 0.1 C),high rate capability(66 mAh g^(-1) at 30 C)and excellent cycling performance(a capacity retention of 97.5%at 1 C over 500 cycles).Also,the occupation site of K ions in the lattice,electronic band structure and Na-ion transport kinetic property in K-doped NVPF are investigated by density functional theory(DFT)calculations,which reveals that the K-doped NVPF exhibits improved electronic and ionic conductivities,and located K^(+) ions in the lattice to contribute to high reversible capacity,rate capability and cycling stability.Therefore,the K-doped NVPF serves as a promising cathode material for high-energy and high-power SIBs.

文章旨在研究不同化学添加剂对青贮玉米营养成分、发酵品质及微生物数量的影响。试验选取同批次收获的玉米秸秆,铡碎为1~2 cm。试验共分为4组,其中对照组喷洒清水,其余3组分别喷洒8 mL/kg的等量发酵抑制剂(盐酸、甲酸、乙酸),并记为盐酸组、甲酸组、乙酸组。常温真空青贮30 d后,分别取3份青贮玉米中间部位小样待测。结果 :(1)与对照组相比,盐酸组、甲酸组、乙酸组青贮玉米的粗蛋白质含量显著提高(P <0.05),乙酸组青贮玉米的酸性洗涤纤维含量显著降低(P <0.05)。(2)与对照组相比,盐酸组、甲酸组、乙酸组青贮玉米的pH值、氨态氮含量显著降低(P <0.05),乳酸含量显著提高(P <0.05),乙酸组青贮玉米的乙酸含量显著提高(P <0.05)。(3)与对照组相比,盐酸组、甲酸组、乙酸组青贮玉米的乳酸菌数量显著提高(P <0.05),酵母菌数量显著降低(P <0.05),乙酸组青贮玉米的好气性细菌数量显著降低(P <0.05)。结论 :在本试验条件下,不同化学添加剂均能改善青贮玉米的营养成分、发酵品质及微生物结构,其中以等量乙酸作为发酵抑制剂,效果最佳。

Flue Gas Monitoring System With Empirically-Trained Dictionary

The monitoring of flue gas of the thermal power plants is of great significance in energy conservation and environmental protection.Spectral technique has been widely used in the gas monitoring system for predicting the concentrations of specific gas components.This paper proposes flue gas monitoring system with empirically-trained dictionary(ETD)to deal with the complexity and biases brought by the uninformative spectral data.Firstly,ETD is extracted from the raw spectral data by an alternative optimization between the sparse coding stage and the dictionary update stage to minimize the error of sparse representation.D1,D2 and D3 are three types of ETD obtained by different methods.Then,the predictive model of component concentration is constructed on the ETD.In the experiments,two real flue gas spectral datasets are collected and the proposed method combined with the partial least squares,the background propagation neural network and the support vector machines are performed.Moreover,the optimal parameters are chosen according to the 10-fold root-mean-square error of cross validation.The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method can be used for quantitative analysis effectively and ETD can be applied to the gas monitoring systems.

针对对流层湿延迟参数估计及水平梯度处理策略对精密单点定位影响的问题,以9个多系统实验网实测数据为基础,设计了6种对流层延迟处理方案并进行实验.实验结果表明,观测时长在8 h时段内,BDS/GPS定位模式下,对流层延迟的水平梯度处理不宜采用随机游走模型;采用随机游走估算对流层湿延迟参数,且不估算或使用分段常数处理水平梯度的策略相对占优.动静态精密单点定位结果显示,BDS/GPS采用分段常数或随机游走进行对流层湿延迟参数估算和分段常数处理水平梯度的策略相对占优,采用随机游走处理水平梯度的策略稍弱.总体而言,BDS较GPS估算的对流层延迟及定位精度稍弱;海洋周边6种方案解算结果差异较内陆站大.静态精密单点定位模式下,随着观测时长的增加,6种方案定位误差趋势趋于一致,误差大小基本在2 cm内,观测时长大于12 h时,随机游走估算对流层湿延迟参数和不考虑水平梯度的处理策略整体较优.
