Improvement of Toughness of UHMWPE/PP Blends

Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) was blended with polypropylene (PP) in order to ensure good processing. Inorganic rigid particles were also used to toughen UHMWPE/PP blends. CaCO3 and a compound additive containing heat mixed polyethylene glycol 2000 and white diatomite were added to the blends. The crystalline, surface morphology and mechanical properties of the blends were investigated comprehensively. The toughness of the material is effectively improved. By contrast, the compound additive had a better result. When the content of additive was 15%, the elongation at the break increased by 279.2% and the fracture energy increased by 343.8% compared to the original samples.

目的采用meta分析的方法评价卵圆孔未闭对非心脏手术患者术后脑卒中发生的影响。方法检索PubMed、Embase、Web of Science、CINAHL、Cochrane Library、中国生物医学文献数据库、万方数据知识服务平台、中国期刊全文数据库。纳入评价卵圆孔未闭与术后脑卒中关联强度的研究。主要结局指标为术后脑卒中发生率,次要结局指标为死亡率、心肌梗死率和术后30 d内再入院率。对符合纳入标准的文献进行质量评价和数据提取,采用RevMan 5.4软件进行meta分析。结果纳入8项回顾性队列研究,共21142237例患者。meta分析结果显示,卵圆孔未闭与非心脏手术患者术后脑卒中和术后30 d再入院率存在关联。卵圆孔未闭组与非卵圆孔未闭组患者全因死亡率和心肌梗死率比较差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论卵圆孔未闭可增加非心脏手术患者术后脑卒中发生的风险。

Background:It is of great clinical significance to further explore new strategies and potential combined therapeutic targets for gastric *** study aimed to investigate the synthetic lethal effect of RBBP8 molecular intervention combined with a poly ADP ribose polymerase(PARP)inhibitor in non-BRCA mutant gastric cancer and clarify the mechanism by which RBBP8 regulates homologous recombination ***:The role of RBBP8 in DNA damage repair was observed using bioinformatic analysis,western blot analysis,and *** synthetic lethal effect was verified using 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-5-(3-carboxymethoxyphenyl)-2-(4-sulfophenyl)-2H-tetrazolium,inner salt(MTS)and flow cytometry apoptosis ***:Among the patients with gastric cancer treated with chemotherapy,the prognosis of patients with high RBBP8 expression levels was worse(homologous recombination[HR]=1.54,p=0.028).RBBP8 knockdown induced DNA damage and had a synergistic effect with PARP inhibitor treatment on cell viability inhibition and cell apoptosis in AGS(generic code for human gastric adenocarcinoma cells)(t=11.154,p<0.001)and N87(t=6.362,p<0.001)***8 knockdown inhibited RAD51 activation and DNA terminal excision in homologous recombination ***:RBBP8 is involved in homologous recombination repair,and molecular intervention into RBBP8 could achieve a synthetic lethal effect with PARP inhibitor treatment in gastric cancer cells.

目的探索经颅多普勒超声(Transcranial Doppler Ultrasound,TCD)及超声测量视神经鞘直径(Optic Nerve Sheath Diameter,ONSD)在颅脑损伤患者颅内压增高中的应用价值。方法回顾性分析2021年1月至2022年12月160例颅脑损伤患者的临床资料,根据是否存在颅内压增高分为观察组(n=80)与对照组(n=80),均进行TCD、ONSD测量,比较两组ONSD、TCD参数,分析颅内压增高与ONSD、TCD参数的相关性。建立受试者工作特征(Receiver Operating Characteristic,ROC)曲线模型,分析ONSD值、平均血流速度(Mean Velocity,Vm)、收缩期峰血流速度(Systolic Peak Flow Velocity,Vs)、阻力指数(Resistance Index,RI)、搏动指数(Pulse Index,PI)诊断效能。结果观察组ONSD值(5.44±1.16)mm、RI(0.77±0.21)、PI(2.32±1.18)高于对照组,Vs(112.58±26.63)cm/s、Vm(48.83±18.96)cm/s低于对照组(P<0.05);重度组ONSD值(6.16±1.13)mm、RI(0.90±0.21)、PI(3.63±1.25)高于中度组、轻度组,Vs(100.83±30.80)cm/s、Vm(30.71±13.36)cm/s低于中度组、轻度组(P<0.05)。颅内压增高与ONSD值、RI、PI呈正相关性(r=0.517、0.569、0.652;P<0.001),与Vs、Vm呈负相关性(r=-0.340、-0.703;P<0.001);经ROC曲线分析,ONSD值、Vs、Vm、RI、PI及联合诊断重度颅内压增高的曲线下面积分别为0.806、0.670、0.921、0.809、0.960、0.996。结论TCD、ONSD对评估颅脑损伤患者颅内压变化有着积极意义,超声频谱图像能够直观反映颅内压变化情况,ONSD值可因颅内压增高而改变。

Since its first experimental demonstration, “ghost imaging” has attracted much attention, perhaps not only because of its interesting physics but also because of its attractive application. This review article discusses the physics and application of ghost imaging:(1) emphasizes the nonlocal two-photon interference nature of ghost imaging, including detailed analysis and calculations;(2) introduces three types of applications with unique advantages of ghost imaging, including a light detection and ranging device with imaging ability, namely, an Imaging Lidar or ILidar system;a turbulence-resistant, or turbulence-free, imaging technology;and a vibration-resistant X-ray microscope of high resolving *** article is prepared for a Special Issue of Chinese Optics Letters, intended for general audiences, especially young researchers and students who are interested in ghost imaging.

In this paper,the method of polynomial particular solutions is used to solve nonlinear Poisson-type partial differential equations in one,two,and three *** condition number of the coefficient matrix is reduced through the implementation of multiple scale technique,ultimately yielding a stable numerical *** methodological process can be divided into two main parts:first,identifying the corresponding polynomial particular solutions for the linear differential operator terms in the governing equations,and second,employing these polynomial particular solutions as basis function to iteratively solve the remaining nonlinear terms within the governing ***,we investigate the potential improvement in numerical accuracy for equations with singularities in the analytical solution by shifting the computational domain a certain *** experiments are conducted to assess both the accuracy and stability of the proposed method.A comparison of the obtained results with those produced by other numerical methods demonstrates the accuracy,stability,and efficiency of the proposed method in handling nonlinear Poisson-type partial differential equations.

This work focused on effects of an eco-friendly carrier JYK on thermal properties,dye uptake,color yield(K/S values)and color fastness of recycled polyester knit *** study also explored optimization of the low-temperature carrier(LTC)dyeing and compared its dyeing performance to the high-temperature and high-pressure(HTHP)*** showed that the eco-friendly carrier JYK had an obvious plasticizing effect on recycled polyester,which significantly reduced the glass transition temperature,thereby reducing the dyeing temperature and benefiting low-temperature *** optimal dyeing conditions were determined as follows:the disperse dye was 2%on weight of fabric(owf)and the eco-friendly carrier JYK was 2%owf at 98℃dyeing temperature for 60 *** with the HTHP dyeing,there was no significant difference in the K/S values and color fastness of recycled polyester fabrics dyed in the low-temperature method which demonstrated that the low-temperature method could be totally *** study indicated that the low-temperature dyeing with a carrier JYK could be an effective and sustainable method for dyeing recycled polyester.

Biomineralization process regulates the growth of inorganic minerals by complex molecules,proteins,and cells,endowing bio-materials with marvels structures and excellent *** intricate structures and compositions found in biominerals have inspired scientists to design and synthesize numerous artificial biomimetic *** methodology for controlling the formation of inorganics plays a pivotal role in achieving biomimetic structures and ***,the current approach predominantly relies on the classical nucleation theory,which hinders the precise preparation of inorganic materials by replicating the biomineralization ***,the development of“inorganic ionic polymerization”strategy has enabled us to regulate the arrangement of inorganic ions from solution to solid phase,which establishes an artificial way to produce inorganic materials analogous to the biomineralization *** on inorganic ionic polymerization,a series of achievements have been realized for the biomimetic preparation,including moldable construction of inorganic materials,hard tissue regeneration,and high-performance biomimetic ***,the utilization of inorganic ionic polymerization has also facilitated the production of numerous advanced materials,including novel structures that exceed the current knowledge of materials *** inorganic ionic polymerization system provides new artificial strategies and methodologies for the controllable synthesis of inorganics,which mimics the biomineralization process,paving the way for the future development of more high-performance materials.
