Effect of pre-procedural statin therapy on myocardial no-reflow following percutaneous coronary intervention： a meta analysis

Background Successful revascularization of coronary artery disease, especially ST-elevation myocardial infarction （STEMI）, does not always mean optimal myocardial reperfusion in a portion of patients because of no-reflow phenomenon. We hypothesized that statins might attenuate the incidence of myocardial no-reflow when used before percutaneous coronary intervention （PCI）. The purpose of this study was to summarize the evidence of pre-procedural statin therapy to reduce myocardial no-reflow after PCI. Methods We searched the MEDLINE, Cochrane, and *** databases from inception to October 2012 for clinical trials that examined statin therapy before PCI. We required that studies initiated statins before PCI and reported myocardial no-reflow. A DerSimonian-Laird model was used to construct random-effects summary risk ratios. Results In all, 7 studies with 3086 patients met our selection criteria. The use of pre-procedural statins significantly reduced post-procedural no-reflow by 4.2% in all PCI patients （risk ratio （RR） 0.56, 95% confidence interval （CI） 0.35 to 0.90, P=0.016）, and attenuated by 5.0% in non-STEMI patients （RR 0.41, 95% CI 0.18 to 0.94, P=0.035）. This benefit was mainly observed in the early or acute intensive statin therapy populations （RR 0.43, 95% CI 0.26 to 0.71, P=0.001）. Conclusions Acute intensive statin therapy before PCI significantly reduces the hazard of post-procedural no-reflow phenomenon. The routine use of statins before PCI should be considered.

Suppression of multistep phase transitions of O3-type cathode for sodium-ion batteries

O3-type layered oxide cathodes have been widely investigated due to their high reversible capacities and sufficient Na+***,such materials usually suffer from complex multistep phase transitions along with drastic volume changes,leading to the unsatisfied cycle ***,we report a Mg/Ti co-doped O3-type NaNi_(0.5)Mn_(0.5)O_(2),which can effectively suppress the complex multistep phase transition and realize a solid-solution reaction within a wide voltage *** is confirmed that,the Mg/Ti co-doping is beneficial to enhance the structural stability and integrity by absorbing micro-strain and ***,the as obtained sample delivers an outstanding cyclic performance(82.3%after 200 cycles at 1 C)in the voltage range of 2.0-4.0 V,and a high discharge capacity of 86.6 mAh/g after 100 cycles within the wide voltage range(2.0-4.5 V),which outperform the existing *** co-doping strategy offers new insights into high performance O3-type cathode for sodium ion batteries.

Regenerative Braking Energy Recovery System of Metro Train Based on Dual-Mode Power Management

In order to fully utilize the regenerative braking energy of metro trains and stabilize the metro DC traction busbar voltage,a hybrid regenerative braking energy recovery system with a dual-mode power management strategy is ***,the construction of the hybrid regenerative braking energy recovery system is ***,based on the power demand of low-voltage load in metro stations,a dual-mode power management strategy is proposed to allocate the reference power of each system according to the different working conditions,and the control methods of each system are ***,the correctness and effectiveness of the dual-mode strategy are verified through simulation,and the proposed braking energy utilization scheme is compared with other singleform utilization *** results illustrate that the hybrid system with the dual-mode strategy can effectively recycle the regenerative braking energy of metro train and inhibit the busbar voltage fluctuation;the proposed braking energy utilization scheme has certain advantages on energy recovery and DC bus voltage stabilization compared with other single-form schemes;the proposed power management strategy can correctly allocate the reference power of each system with a lower construction cost.

An Adaptive Control Strategy for Energy Storage Interface Converter Based on Analogous Virtual Synchronous Generator

In the DC microgrid,the lack of inertia and damping in power electronic converters results in poor stability of DC bus voltage and low inertia of the DC microgrid during fluctuations in load and photovoltaic *** address this issue,the application of a virtual synchronous generator(VSG)in grid-connected inverters control is referenced and proposes a control strategy called the analogous virtual synchronous generator(AVSG)control strategy for the interface DC/DC converter of the battery in the ***,a flexible parameter adaptive control method is introduced to further enhance the inertial behavior of the AVSG ***,a theoretical analysis is conducted on the various components of the DC microgrid,the structure of analogous virtual synchronous generator,and the control structure’s main parameters related to the DC microgrid’s inertial ***,the voltage change rate tracking coefficient is introduced to adjust the change of the virtual capacitance and damping coefficient flexibility,which further strengthens the inertia trend of the DC ***,a small-signal modeling approach is used to analyze the approximate range of the AVSG’s main parameters ensuring system ***,conduct a simulation analysis by building the model of the DC microgrid system with photovoltaic(PV)and battery energy storage(BES)in MATLAB/*** results from different scenarios have verified that the AVSG control introduces fixed inertia and damping into the droop control of the battery,resulting in a certain level of inertia ***,the additional adaptive control strategy built upon the AVSG control provides better and flexible inertial support for the DC microgrid,further enhances the stability of the DC bus voltage,and has a more positive impact on the battery performance.

Reorientation and obstacle avoidance control of free-floating modular robots using sinusoidal oscillator
