Mitochondria are critical cellular energy resources and are central to the life of the *** selectively clears damaged or dysfunctional mitochondria through autophagic machinery to maintain mitochondrial quality control and *** neurons are postmitotic and consume substantial energy,thus require highly efficient mitophagy pathways to turn over damaged or dysfunctional *** evidence indicates that mitophagy is pivotal to the pathogenesis of neurological ***,more work is needed to study mitophagy pathway components as potential therapeutic *** this review,we briefly discuss the characteristics of nonselective autophagy and selective autophagy,including ERphagy,aggrephagy,and *** then introduce the mechanisms of Parkin-dependent and Parkin-independent mitophagy pathways under physiological ***,we summarize the diverse repertoire of mitochondrial membrane receptors and phospholipids that mediate ***,we review the critical role of mitophagy in the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer’s disease,Parkinson’s disease,and amyotrophic lateral ***,we discuss recent studies considering mitophagy as a potential therapeutic target for treating neurodegenerative ***,our review may provide novel views to better understand the roles of mitophagy in neurodegenerative disease pathogenesis.

In this paper,we investigate the Cauchy problem of the Sasa-Satsuma(SS)equation with initial data belonging to the Schwartz *** SS equation is one of the integrable higher-order extensions of the nonlinear Schrödinger equation and admits a 3×3 Lax *** the aid of the■nonlinear steepest descent method of the mixed■-Riemann-Hilbert problem,we give the soliton resolution and long-time asymptotics for the Cauchy problem of the SS equation with the existence of second-order discrete spectra in the space-time solitonic regions.

Exploring the relationship between red blood cell levels and emotional regulation through the miR191-Riok3-Mxi1 pathway

Objective:To assess emotional fluctuations,physical and mental health status,and indicators closely related to red blood cells,such as RIO kinase 3(Riok3),MAX interactor 1(Mxi1),and microRNA 191(miR191),in participants with different levels of red blood ***:Participants who underwent physical examinations at Dongfang Hospital between April and October 2019 were divided into healthy,blood deficiency,and anemia groups(30 individuals in the healthy and blood deficiency group respectively,and 13 in the anemia group).The physical and mental conditions of the participants were evaluated through questionnaires,and emotional fluctuations were assessed through an emotion-inducing experiment,in which participants watched video segments designed to induce specific *** expression levels of miR191,Riok3,and Mxi1 from venous blood samples were also ***:The main psychological factors identified in the anemia and blood deficiency groups were obsessive-compulsive symptoms,depression,anxiety,and other negative *** gene expression levels indicated that miR191 was upregulated and Riok3 and Mxi1 were downregulated in both the blood deficiency and anemia *** the emotional score of disgust on video stage,the main effect was significant(F=335.58,P<.001),which showed that watching the three videos caused participants to have a dominant emotion,and there is a difference on group(F=5.35,P=.01),with higher disgust scores in the anemia and blood deficiency *** symptoms of blood deficiency and anemia,such as weakness in limbs were significantly negatively correlated with Riok3 and Mxi1 expression(r=-0.38 and-0.31 respectively),but was significantly positively correlated with miR191 expression(r=0.29).Conclusion:We determined that a close relationship exists between red blood cell levels and emotional *** findings suggest that individuals with anemia and blood deficiency are more likely to experience psychological pro

Interface sites on vanadia-based catalysts are highly active for NO_(x) removal under realistic conditions

TiO_(2)-supported V_(2)O_(5)catalysts are commonly used in NO_(x)reduction with ammonia due to their robust catalytic *** these catalysts,it is generally considered that the active species are mainly derived from the vanadia species rather than the intrinsic structure of V-O-Ti entities,namely the interface *** reveal the role of V-O-Ti entities in NH_(3)-SCR,herein,we prepared TiO_(2)/V_(2)O_(5)catalysts and demonstrated that V-O-Ti entities were more active for NO_(x)reduction under wet conditions than the V sites(V=O)working *** the V-O-Ti entities,kinetic measurements and first principles calculations revealed that NH_(3)activation exhibited a much lower energy barrier than that on V=O *** wet conditions,the V-O-Ti interface significantly inhibited the transformation of V=O to V-OH sites thus benefiting NH_(3)*** wet conditions,meanwhile,the migration of NH_(4)^(+)from Ti site neighboring the V-O-Ti interface to Ti site of the V-O-Ti interface was exothermic;thus,V-O-Ti entities together with neighboring Ti sites could serve as channels linking NH_(3)pool and active centers for activation of NH_(4)^(+).This finding reveals that the V-O-Ti interface sites on V-based catalysts play a crucial role in NO_(x)removal under realistic conditions,providing a new perspective on NH_(3)-SCR mechanism.

Lamellar quasi-solid electrolyte with nanoconfined deep eutectic solvent for high-performance lithium battery

Electrolytes with high-efficiency lithium-ion transfer and reliable safety are of great importance for lithium *** having superior ionic conductivity(10^(−3)–10^(−2) S·cm^(−1)),traditional liquid-state electrolytes always suffer from low lithium-ion transference number(tLi+<0.4)and thus undesirable battery ***,the deep eutectic solvent(DES)is vacuum-filtered into the~1 nm interlayer channel of vermiculite(Vr)lamellar framework to fabricate a quasi-solid electrolyte(Vr-DES QSE).We demonstrate that the nanoconfinement effect of interlayer channel could facilitate the opening of solvation shell around ***,the interaction from channel wall could inhibit the movement of *** enable high-efficiency lithium-ion transfer:2.61×10^(−4)S·cm^(−1)at 25℃.Importantly,the tLi+value reaches 0.63,which is 4.5 times of that of bulk DES,and much higher than most present liquid/quasi-solid *** addition,Vr-DES QSE shows significantly improved interfacial stability with Li anode as compared with *** assembled Li symmetric cell can operate stably for 1000 h at 0.1 mA·cm^(−2).The lithium iron phosphate(LFP)|Vr-DES QSE|Li cell exhibits high capacity of 142.1 mAh·g^(−1)after 200 cycles at 25℃ and 0.5 C,with a capacity retention of 94.5%.The strategy of open solvation shell through nanoconfinement effect of lamellar framework may shed light on the development of advanced electrolytes.

A bifunctional nitrile additive for high-performance lithiumoxygen batteries

Li-O_(2)batteries with high energy density hold significant promise as next-generation energy storage ***,Li-O_(2)batteries have poor cycling performance at high current densities and large capacities,primarily due to the high impedance caused by the instability of the lithium anode and the sluggish kinetics in the discharge products decomposition on the ***,we investigated a bifunctional nitrile additive(2-methoxy benzonitrile(2-MBN))with good chemical/electrochemical stability to improve the performances of Li-O_(2)*** 2-MBN could actively modify the anode by ensuring uniform Li+deposition and optimizing the composition of solid electrolyte interphase(SEI).Meanwhile,it could also facilitate the decomposition of discharge products by inducing the formation of sheet-like Li_(2)O_(2),significantly reducing the battery charge *** bifunctional effects of 2-MBN for the anode and cathode enable Li-O_(2)batteries to achieve a stable lifetime of 97 cycles at a current density of 600 mA·g^(−1)with a fixed capacity of 2000 mAh·g^(−1),much better than that of Li-O_(2)batteries without 2-MBN(28 cycles).The inclusion of 2-MBN provides an effective approach for attaining high-performance Li-O_(2)batteries.

Structural regulation of coal-derived hard carbon anode for sodium-ion batteries via pre-oxidation

Hard carbon(HC)is broadly recognized as an exceptionally prospective candidate for the anodes of sodium-ion batteries(SIBs),but their practical implementation faces substantial limitations linked to precursor factors,such as reduced carbon yield and increased ***,a cost-effective approach is proposed to prepare a coal-derived HC anode with simple pre-oxidation followed by a post-carbonization process which effectively expands the d_(002)layer spacing,generates closed pores and increases defect *** these modifications,the resulting HC anode attains a delicate equilibrium between plateau capacity and sloping capacity,showcasing a remarkable reversible capacity of 306.3 mAh·g^(-1)at 0.03 A·g^(-1).Furthermore,the produ ced HC exhibits fast reaction kinetics and exceptional rate performance,achieving a capacity of 289 mAh·g^(-1)at 0.1 A·g^(-1),equivalent to~94.5%of that at 0.03 A·g^(-1).When implemented in a full cell configuration,the impressive electrochemical performance is evident,with a notable energy density of 410.6 Wh·kg^(-1)(based on cathode mass).In short,we provide a straightforward yet efficient method for regulating coal-derived HC,which is crucial for the widespread use of SIBs anodes.

Event-triggered adaptive tracking control of a class of nonlinear systems with asymmetric time-varying output constraints

Low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 2(LRP2)is a multifunctional endocytic receptor expressed in epithelial *** mammals,it acts as an endocytic receptor that mediates the cellular uptake of cholesterol-containing apolipoproteins to maintain lipid ***,little is known about the role of LRP2 in lipid homeostasis in *** the present study,we investigated the function of LRP2 in the migratory locust Locusta migratoria(LmLRP2).The mRNA of LmLRP2 is widely distributed in various tissues,including integument,wing pads,foregut,midgut,hindgut,Malpighian tubules and fat body,and the amounts of LmLRP2 transcripts decreased gradually in the early stages and then increased in the late stages before ecdysis during the nymphal developmental *** immunohistochemistry revealed that the LmLRP2 protein is mainly located in cellular membranes of the midgut and *** RNAi to silence LmLRP2 caused molting defects in nymphs(more than 60%),and the neutral lipid was found to accumulate in the midgut and surface of the integument,but not in the fat body,of dsLmLRP2-treated *** results of a lipidomics analysis showed that the main components of lipids(diglyceride and triglyceride)were significantly increased in the midgut,but decreased in the fat body and ***,the content of total triglyceride was significantly increased in the midgut,but markedly decreased in the fat body and hemolymph in dsLmLRP2-injected *** results indicate that LmLRP2 is located in the cellular membranes of midgut cells,and is required for lipid export from the midgut to the hemolymphand fat body in locusts.
