OBJECTIVE:The interleukin(IL)-12 cytokine family is closely related to the development of T helper cells,which are responsible for autoimmune disease enhancement or ***-12 family members are generally heterodimers and share threeα-subunits(p35,p19,and p28)and twoβ-subunits(p40 and EBI3).However,aβ-sheet p40 homodimer has been shown to exist and antagonize IL-12 and IL-23 signaling ***,we assumed the existence of a p40-EBI3 heterodimer in nature and sought to investigate its role in immune ***:The presence of the p40-EBI3 heterodimer was confirmed by ELISA,immunoprecipitation,and western blotting.A p40-EBI3 vector and p40-EBI3-Fc protein were synthesized to confirm the immunological role of this protein in mice with collageninduced arthritis(CIA).The anti-inflammatory effects of p40-EBI3 were analyzed with regard to clinical,histological,and immune cell-regulating features in mice with ***:Clinical arthritis scores and the expression levels of proinflammatory cytokines(e.g.,IL-17,IL-1β,IL-6,and TNF-α)were significantly attenuated in p40-EBI3-overexpressing and p40-EBI3-Fc-treated mice with CIA compared to vehicle-treated mice with *** joint damage and vessel formation-related gene expression were also reduced by p40-EBI3 heterodimer *** vitro,the p40-EBI3-Fc protein significantly suppressed the differentiation of Th17 cells and reciprocally induced CD4+CD25+Foxp3+(regulatory T)cells.p40-EBI3 also inhibited osteoclast formation in a concentrationdependent ***:In this study,p40-EBI3 ameliorated proinflammatory conditions both in vivo and in *** propose that p40-EBI3 is a novel anti-inflammatory cytokine involved in suppressing the immune response through the expansion of Treg cells and suppression of Th17 cells and osteoclastogenesis.

Activating basal plane inert sites will endow MoTe_(2) with prominent hydrogen evolution reaction(her)catalytic capability and arouse a new family of her ***,we fabricated single MoTe_(2) sheet electrocatalytic microdevice for in situ revealing the activated basal plane sites by vacancies *** the extraction of electrical parameters of single MoTe_(2) sheet,the in-plane and interlayer conductivities were optimized effectively by Te vacancies due to the defect *** deeply,Te vacancies can induce the delocalization of electrons around Mo atoms and shift the d-band center,as a consequence,facilitate the adsorption of H from the catalyst surface for her *** by the coordinated regulation of band structure and local charge density,the overpotential at−10 mA·cm^(−2)was reduced to 0.32 V after Te vacancies compared to 0.41 V for the basal plane sites of same MoTe_(2) ***,the insights gained from single nanosheet electrocatalytic microdevice can be applied to the improved her of the commercial MoTe_(2) *** the in situ testing of the atomic structure-electrical behavior-electrochemical properties of a single nanosheet before/after vacancies introducing provides reliable insight to structure-activity relationships.

本文对平顶山叶县战国时期辛庄一号楚国贵族墓葬出土的一具人骨进行了体质人类学研究。辛庄一号墓主是一位60岁以上的女性,颅骨形态与曾侯乙墓女性陪葬者最相似。一系列牙病暗示墓主在幼年时期身体健康状况较差。仅出现于胸、颈部的退行性关节炎,表明墓主生前未参与增加关节负荷的高强度运动,只是头颈部常年处于疲劳状态。下肢跪踞面及双手指骨明显的屈肌附着点,证明墓主生前长期跪坐,并可能将鼓瑟作为一项日常生活习惯。

Long-term clinical outcome between beta-blocker with ACEI or ARB in patients with NSTEmi who underwent PCI with drug-eluting stents

Background Because limited comparative data are available,we decided to compare 2-year major clinical outcomes between beta-blockers (BB) with angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEI) and BB with angiotensin receptor blockers (ARB) therapy in patients with non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEmi) after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) with drug-eluting stents (DES).Methods A total 11,288 NSTEmi patients who underwent PCI with DES were enrolled and they were divided into two groups,the BB with ACEI group (n = 7600) and the BB with ARB group (n = 3688).The major clinical endpoint was the occurrence of major adverse cardiac events (MACE) defined as all-cause death,recurrent myocardial infarction (re-mi),total revascularization [target lesion revascularization (TLR),target vessel revascularization (TVR),non-TVR] rate during the 2-year follow-up *** After propensity score-matched (PSM) analysis,two PSM groups (3317 pairs,n = 6634,C-statistic = 0.695) were *** the cumulative incidences of all-cause death,cardiac death,TLR,and non-TVR were similar between the two groups,MACE (HR = 0.832,95% CI: 0.704?0.982,P = 0.030),total revascularization rate (HR = 0.767,95% CI: 0.598?0.984,P = 0.037),and TVR rate (HR = 0.646,95% CI: 0.470?0.888,P = 0.007) were significantly lower in the BB with ACEI group after *** In this study,we suggest that the combination of BB with ACEI may be beneficial for reducing the cumulative incidences of MACE,total revascularization rate,and TVR rather than the BB with ARB after PCI with DES in NSTEmi patients.

Pt-surface oxygen vacancies coupling accelerated photo-charge extraction and activated hydrogen evolution

Semiconductors-based heterogeneous photocatalytic water splitting has been extensively studied,but it still remains challenging to accelerate the separation of electron-hole pairs and facilitate the reaction *** we report a general strategy to fabricate highly efficient Pt/TiO_(2)photocatalyst by coupling the Pt co-catalysts and surface oxygen vacancies(VO)of TiO_(2).TiO_(2)was pre-modified with alkali or alkaline earth metals ion solutions,which produce a large number of surface hydroxyl on TiO_(2).Subsequently,the photodeposited Pt sub-nanoparticles substitute surface hydroxyl and induce surface VO on TiO_(2).The coupling of Pt and surface VO on TiO_(2)can accelerate the extraction of photo-charges through the interaction of Pt-VO-Ti bonds and reduce the hydrogen evolution barrier,thereby promoting the photocatalytic *** synthesized Pt-VO-TiO_(2)sample exhibits a photocatalytic hydrogen evolution activity as high as 1.5 L·g^(−1)·h^(−1),which is 2.2 times that of traditional Pt/TiO_(2).Our findings indepth understand the synergistic effect of co-catalysts and defects on photocatalysis and open up new possibilities for achieving robust photocatalytic water splitting.

Pt-Co single atom alloy catalysts: Accelerated water dissociation and hydrogen evolution by strain regulation

The alkaline hydrogen evolution reaction(her) on Pt-based catalysts is largely limited by the slow water dissociation kinetics. Pt-based single atom alloy catalysts(SAAC) with water dissociation sites have been demonstrated as excellent alkaline her catalysts. However, the regulation of their activity and stability at the atomic scale is still a great challenge. herein, the kinetic and stability issues are successfully resolved via engineering the electronic structure of Pt-Co SAAC by Au-induced tensile strain. The atomic dispersion of Co into the Pt shell was confirmed by extended X-ray absorption fine structure and the electronic structure and catalytic her performance was modulated by the tensile strain induced by the Pt shell thickness. An inverse volcano-type relation between her activity and surface strain was *** functional theory(DFT) calculations reveal that the Au-induced tensile strain on Pt-Co shell can not only boost the adsorption and dissociation kinetics of water at Co site by upshifting the dband and promoting the electron transfer, but also downshift the d-band center of Pt in Pt-Co shell, leading to optimized H* adsorption/desorption. The champion catalyst provides an overpotential of only 14 m V at the current density of 10 mA cm^(-2). This work not only provides an effective strategy for the construction of single-atom alloy electrocatalysts for high performance toward alkaline her but also sheds light on the understanding of the reaction mechanism at the atomic level.

Complete response to trastuzumab and chemotherapy in recurrent urothelial bladder carcinoma with her2 gene amplification: A case report

BACKGROUND Targeted treatments may greatly affect the natural history of urothelial carcinoma based on their pharmacokinetics. A phase II trial has explored the combination of cytotoxic chemotherapy with the anti-her-2 monoclonal antibody trastuzumab in selected patients with metastatic bladder cancer, but it *** SUMMARY here, we report a case of recurrent urothelial bladder carcinoma(UBC) in a patient who has undergone three operations, and further illuminate its diagnosis and treatment. The diagnosis of UBC was rendered according to the pathological indices. Next-generation sequencing on formalin fixed paraffin-embedded(FFPE)tissue was also performed and suggested her2 gene amplification in the FFPE tissue. Based on her2 gene amplification in FFPE, the patient was treated with chemotherapy in combination with trastuzumab after his third ***, the patient got a clinically complete remission to trastuzumab for 34 *** There is not enough clinical evidence for incorporating trastuzumab in routine treatment of UBC. This case hinted that recurrent UBC patients with her2 gene amplification may benefit from targeted trastuzumab. Further studies are needed to further investigate the status of her2 gene and better determine trastuzumab in the management of UBC.

Effectiveness of lorazepam-assisted interviews in an adolescent with dissociative amnesia A case report

To facilitate gathering information during a psychiatric interview, some psychiatrists advocate augmenting the interview using drugs. Rather than barbiturates, benzodiazepines have been used for drug-assisted interviews. Dissociative amnesia is one of the indications for these interviews. herein, we present the case of a 15-year-old female who was diagnosed as having dissociative amnesia because of conflicts with her friends. She was administered a Iorazepam-assisted interview to aid recovery of her memories. In this case, a small dose of Iorazepam was sufficient to recover her memories without any adverse effects.
