The abnormal activation of HER family kinase activity is closely related to the development of human malignancies.In this study,we used HER kinases as targets for the treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC)and explored the anti-tumor effects of the novel pan-HER inhibitor HM781-36B,alone or in combination with cisplatin.We found that HER family proteins were positively expressed in tumor tissues of some NPC patients,and the high levels of those proteins were significantly related to poor prognosis.HM781-36B inhibited NPC in vitro and in vivo.HM781-36B exerted synergistic effects with cisplatin on inhibiting proliferation and promoting apoptosis of NPC cells.In NPC xenograft models in nude mice,HM781-36B and cisplatin synergistically inhibited tumor growth.Downregulating the activity of HER family proteins and their downstream signaling pathways and regulating tumor microenvironment may explain the synergistic anti-tumor effects of HM781-36B and cisplatin.In conclusion,our study provides evidence for HER family proteins as prognostic biomarkers and potential therapeutic targets for NPC.The pan-HER inhibitor HM781-36B alone or in combination with cisplatin represents promising therapeutic effects for the treatment of NPC patients,which provides a new idea for the comprehensive treatment of NPC.

The rational design of a novel catalytic center with a sound basis remains both challenging and rewarding for the electrochemical reduction of N2(e NRR),which has provided a feasible route for achieving clean and sustainable NH3production under ambient conditions.Herein,using density functional theory calculations,we demonstrate that hybrid metal(M)-boron(B)double-atom catalysts(DACs)embedded in gC_(2)N substrate(M-B@C_(2)N,M=3d,4d and 5d transition metals)can achieve both high catalytic activity and high selectivity in e NRR.The proposed M-B@C_(2)N DACs have exhibited impressive feasibility and stability thanks to the resilient and robust C_(2)N substrate with abundant pyridinic N atoms distributed among right-sized pore structures.Our results reveal that like the metal center,the embedded B atom can actively involve in N≡N bond activation viaπ*-backdonation mechanism concomitant with the substantial charge transfer to adsorbed*N2,leading to sizable NAN bond elongation.Accordingly,both adsorption energy and NAN bond length of*N2can be employed as catalytic descriptors for predicting e NRR activity in terms of the limiting potentials(UL).Using high-throughput screening method,we found that six M-B@C_(2)N candidates have stood out as the outstanding electrocatalysts for driving e NRR,namely,M=Ti(UL=0 V),Mo(UL=0 V),Nb(UL=-0.04 V),W(UL=-0.23 V),Zr(UL=-0.26 V),V(UL=-0.28 V).The underlying origin is attributed to the balanced and constrained N-affinity of M-B dual site working in synergy,which can thus be used as one important guide of catalyst design.

BACKGROUND Hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage(HCH),the most common chronic diseases,has become a topic of global public health discussions.AIM To investigate the role of rehabilitative nursing interventions in optimizing the postoperative mental status recovery phase and to provide clinical value for future rehabilitation of patients with HCH.METHODS This randomized controlled study included 120 patients with cerebral HCH who were contained to our neurosurgery department between May 2021–May 2023 as the participants.The participants have randomly sampled and grouped into the observation and control groups.The observation group received the rehabilitation nursing model,whereas the control group have given conventional nursing.The conscious state of the patients was assessed at 7,14,21,and 30 d postoperatively.After one month of care,sleep quality,anxiety,and depression were compared between the two groups.Patient and family satisfaction were assessed using a nursing care model.RESULTS The results showed that the state of consciousness scores of the patients in both groups significantly increased(P<0.05)after surgical treatment.From the 14th day onwards,differences in the state of consciousness scores between the two groups of patients began to appear(P<0.05).After one month of care,the sleep quality,anxiety state,and depression state of patients were significantly better in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).Satisfaction with nursing care was higher in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The rehabilitation nursing model has a more complete system compared to conventional nursing,which can effectively improve the postoperative quality of life of patients with cerebral hemorrhage and improve the efficiency of mental state recovery;however,further analysis and research are needed to provide more scientific evidence.

Autonomous marine vehicles(AMVs)have received considerable attention in the past few decades,mainly because they play essential roles in broad marine applications such as environmental monitoring and resource exploration.Recent advances in the field of communication technologies,perception capability,computational power and advanced optimization algorithms have stimulated new interest in the development of AMVs.In order to deploy the constrained AMVs in the complex dynamic maritime environment,it is crucial to enhance the guidance and control capabilities through effective and practical planning,and control algorithms.Model predictive control(MPC)has been exceptionally successful in different fields due to its ability to systematically handle constraints while optimizing control performance.This paper aims to provide a review of recent progress in the context of motion planning and control for AMVs from the perceptive of MPC.Finally,future research trends and directions in this substantial research area of AMVs are highlighted.

Icing is one of the main external environmental factors that causes aircraft to lose control.The flight safety assurance system under icing condition is particularly important.However,most of the systems do not consider the coupling characteristics of aerodynamics and flight dynamics of icing aircraft.This will affect the accuracy of the calculation results.Besides,the icing risk management system helps the pilot to realize the possible dangers in advance and perform correct maneuvers,based on quantitative assessment and visualization methods of flight risk.The envelope protection system realizes flight safety guarantee based on the real-time boundary protection method of key flight parameters.Finally,based on distributed simulation technology,a flight simulator was used as a platform to integrate the icing risk management system and envelope protection system to realize man-in-the-loop simulation.Two fictional but historically motivated icing scenarios are designed to test the system,and the results demonstrate that the icing risk management and protection system would be useful for aviation safety and can also be used for pilot training and reproducing flight accidents to find the causes.

Nanozymes with high enzyme-like catalytic activity have been recognized as promising alternatives for nature enzymes and exhibit great potentials in biodetection,disease diagnosis and treatment. Metal nanozyme is an important member of the nanozyme family. When metal nanozymes are controllably regulated by compositions,sizes, morphologies, crystal defects, surface states or stimulated by diversified external fields, they will acquire unique geometric and electronic structures and exhibit various physical/chemical properties in catalytic behaviors.Although significant progress has been made in metal nanozymes, there is still large space for further improving the catalytic efficiency, developing the synthetic process for large-scale production, facilitating the clinical transformation and exploring the untapped applications.Directing at these issues, rational design of novel nanozymes for better applications and deeper understanding of catalytic mechanisms are urgently required. Accordingly,this review focuses on the recent advances on regulating strategies, catalytic mechanisms and relevant biological applications of metal nanozymes with multiple enzymelike performance. Furthermore, future perspectives are outlooked to inspire more attention and efforts on this interesting multi-disciplinary field.
