News Topic Detection Based on Capsule Semantic Graph

Most news topic detection methods use word-based methods,which easily ignore the relationship among words and have semantic sparsity,resulting in low topic detection accuracy.In addition,the current mainstream probability methods and graph analysis methods for topic detection have high time complexity.For these reasons,we present a news topic detection model on the basis of capsule semantic graph(CSG).The keywords that appear in each text at the same time are modeled as a keyword graph,which is divided into multiple subgraphs through community detection.Each subgraph contains a group of closely related keywords.The graph is used as the vertex of CSG.The semantic relationship among the vertices is obtained by calculating the similarity of the average word vector of each vertex.At the same time,the news text is clustered using the incremental clustering method,where each text uses CSG;that is,the similarity among texts is calculated by the graph kernel.The relationship between vertices and edges is also considered when calculating the similarity.Experimental results on three standard datasets show that CSG can obtain higher precision,recall,and F1 values than several latest methods.Experimental results on large-scale news datasets reveal that the time complexity of CSG is lower than that of probabilistic methods and other graph analysis methods.

Infectious diseases pose a serious threat to global health.Although immunizations can control most viral infections,bacterial infections,particularly those caused by drug-resistant strains,continue to cause high rates of illness and death.Unfortunately,the creation of new antibiotics has come to a grinding halt in the last ten years.In response to this crisis,nanotechnology has emerged as a hopeful solution to tackle drug resistance and enhance treatment results.A large variety of biomimetic nanomaterials,termed nanozymes,have demonstrated strong antimicrobial efficacy.While the inherent toxicity of nanomaterials is a concern,recent studies have harnessed the stimuli-responsiveness of nanomaterials to enable local and/or targeted delivery to reduce the treatment side effects.Indeed,the physicochemical versatility of nanomaterials affords many degrees of freedom that enable rational design of smart or autonomous therapeutics,which cannot be achieved using conventional antibiotics.The design straddles the fields of catalysis,nanoscience,microbiology,and translational medicine.To provide an overview of this interdisciplinary landscape,this review is organized based on composition into lipid,metal,metal oxide,and non-metallic nanomaterials.Liposomes as a delivery vehicle enhance bioavailability and reduce toxicity.Metal-and metal oxide-based nanomaterials inhibit bacterial growth by mimicking natural enzymatic activities such as peroxidase(POD)and oxidase.Furthermore,carbon-,polymer-,and cell membrane-based nanomaterials are combined into a discussion on non-metallic materials.At the end of this review,potentially fruitful directions for future bioinspired nanomaterials in infectious disease treatment are included.

This study investigated the distribution of six pollutant elements(Cr, Cu, Pb, Zn, Cd, and As), and their relationship to soil organic carbon(SOC) in five soil profiles in the Puding area. Results show SOC content decreased exponentially to the depth of soil profiles; the vertical distribution patterns of SOC in soil profiles were partially controlled by land use. The concentrations of these pollutant elements in most soils were lower than background values, indicating that the local soil was less likely to be contaminated by foreign inputs. Geo-accumulation index values of these elements in most soil samples were less than 1, suggesting that the soil of this area may not be polluted. The concentrations of Cr, Cu, As, and Zn in soils from all land use types were significantly negatively correlated with SOC contents. Geochemical approaches confirmed that the soil of this area was less influenced by pollutant elements.

Cathodic electrocatalytic reactions, such as hydrogen evolution and CO_(2)/N_(2) reduction, are the key processes that store intermittent electricity into stable chemical energy. Although a great progress has been made to boost activity and selectivity via elaborative catalyst design, the structure–property relationships have not been sufficiently understood in the context of surface reconfiguration under working conditions. Recent efforts devoted to tracking dynamic evolution of electrocatalysts using in-situ and/or operando techniques gave new insights into the real structure and working mechanism of active sites,and provided principles to design better catalysts. The achievement of cathodic electrocatalysts in this subject is herein summarized, focusing on the correlations between reconstructed surface and electrocatalytic performance. Briefly, the thermodynamics of reconstruction at cathodes is discussed at first, and then the representative progresses in H_(2) evolution and CO_(2)/N_(2) reduction are introduced in sequence to acquire insights into electrochemical processes on in-situ reconfigured surfaces or interfaces. Finally, a perspective is offered to guide future investigations. This review is anticipated to shed some new light on in-depth understanding cathodic electrocatalysis and exploiting prominent electrocatalysts.

BACKGROUND Hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage(HCH),the most common chronic diseases,has become a topic of global public health discussions.AIM To investigate the role of rehabilitative nursing interventions in optimizing the postoperative mental status recovery phase and to provide clinical value for future rehabilitation of patients with HCH.METHODS This randomized controlled study included 120 patients with cerebral HCH who were contained to our neurosurgery department between May 2021–May 2023 as the participants.The participants have randomly sampled and grouped into the observation and control groups.The observation group received the rehabilitation nursing model,whereas the control group have given conventional nursing.The conscious state of the patients was assessed at 7,14,21,and 30 d postoperatively.After one month of care,sleep quality,anxiety,and depression were compared between the two groups.Patient and family satisfaction were assessed using a nursing care model.RESULTS The results showed that the state of consciousness scores of the patients in both groups significantly increased(P<0.05)after surgical treatment.From the 14th day onwards,differences in the state of consciousness scores between the two groups of patients began to appear(P<0.05).After one month of care,the sleep quality,anxiety state,and depression state of patients were significantly better in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).Satisfaction with nursing care was higher in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The rehabilitation nursing model has a more complete system compared to conventional nursing,which can effectively improve the postoperative quality of life of patients with cerebral hemorrhage and improve the efficiency of mental state recovery;however,further analysis and research are needed to provide more scientific evidence.

The markedly increased integration of renewable energy in the power grid is of significance in the transition to a sustainable energy future.The grid integration of renewables will be continuously enhanced in the future.According to the International Renewable Energy Agency(IRENA),renewable technology is the main pathway to reach zero carbon dioxide(CO_(2))emissions by 2060.Power electronics have played and will continue to play a significant role in this energy transition by providing efficient electrical energy conversion,distribution,transmission,and utilization.Consequently,the development of power electronics technologies,i.e.,new semiconductor devices,flexible converters,and advanced control schemes,is promoted extensively across the globe.Among various renewables,wind energy and photovoltaic(PV)are the most widely used,and accordingly these are explored in this paper to demonstrate the role of power electronics.The development of renewable energies and the demands of power electronics are reviewed first.Then,the power conversion and control technologies as well as grid codes for wind and PV systems are discussed.Future trends in terms of power semiconductors,reliability,advanced control,grid-forming operation,and security issues for largescale grid integration of renewables,and intelligent and full user engagement are presented at the end.

The natural dynamic characteristics of a circular cylindrical tube made of three-directional(3 D)functional graded material(FGM)based on the Timoshenko beam theory are investigated.Hamilton’s principle is utilized to derive the novel motion equations of the tube,considering the interactions among the longitudinal,transverse,and rotation deformations.By dint of the differential quadrature method(DQM),the governing equations are discretized to conduct the analysis of natural dynamic characteristics.The Ritz method,in conjunction with the finite element method(FEM),is introduced to verify the present results.It is found that the asymmetric modes in the tube are controlled by the 3 D FGM,which exhibit more complicated shapes compared with the unidirectional(1 D)and bi-directional(2 D)FGM cases.Numerical examples illustrate the effects of the axial,radial,and circumferential FGM indexes as well as the supported edges on the natural dynamic characteristics in detail.It is notable that the obtained results are beneficial for accurate design of smart structures composed from multi-directional FGM.

Precipitation recycling ratio(i.e.,evaporation-precipitation feedback strength)and water vapor sources are two key aspects of regional water cycle,and their quantification is essential for understanding water cycle processes and their changes.The results of existing studies on the precipitation recycling ratio and water vapor sources for the Tibetan Plateau were highly controversial.This article clarifies different frameworks for understanding the water cycle.It points out that(1)the ratio of evaporation to precipitation depends mainly on climate regimes,while the precipitation recycling ratio is closely related to both the climate regimes and the scale of the region of interest,and(2)the water vapor sources depend on the traced period(precipitating or non-precipitating period)and the degree of tracing.Within the same theoretical framework,there is no fundamental conflict among the results of different studies on the water cycle in the Tibetan Plateau.

With the development of information technology,a mass of data are generated every day.Collecting and analysing these data help service providers improve their services and gain an advantage in the fierce market competition.K-means clustering has been widely used for cluster analysis in real life.However,these analyses are based on users’data,which disclose users’privacy.Local differential privacy has attracted lots of attention recently due to its strong privacy guarantee and has been applied for clustering analysis.However,existing K-means clustering methods with local differential privacy protection cannot get an ideal clustering result due to the large amount of noise introduced to the whole dataset to ensure the privacy guarantee.To solve this problem,we propose a novel method that provides local distance privacy for users who participate in the clustering analysis.Instead of making the users’records in-distinguish from each other in high-dimensional space,we map the user’s record into a one-dimensional distance space and make the records in such a distance space not be distinguished from each other.To be specific,we generate a noisy distance first and then synthesize the high-dimensional data record.We propose a Bounded Laplace Method(BLM)and a Cluster Indistinguishable Method(CIM)to sample such a noisy distance,which satisfies the local differential privacy guarantee and local dE-privacy guarantee,respectively.Furthermore,we introduce a way to generate synthetic data records in high-dimensional space.Our experimental evaluation results show that our methods outperform the traditional methods significantly.
