We study the bending of a two-layer piezoelectric semiconductor plate(bimorph).The macroscopic theory of piezoelectric semiconductors is employed.A set of two-dimensional plate equations is derived from the three-dimensional *** plate equations exhibit direct couplings among bending,electric polarization along the plate thickness,and mobile *** the case of pure bending,a combination of physical and geometric parameters is identified which characterizes the strength of the interaction between the mechanical load and the distribution of mobile *** the bending of a rectangular plate under a distributed transverse mechanical load,it is shown that mobile charge distributions and potential barriers/wells develop in the *** the mechanical load is local and self-balanced,the induced carrier distributions and potential barriers/wells are also localized near the loading *** results are fundamentally useful for mechanically manipulating mobile charges in piezoelectric semiconductor devices.

In this paper,we consider a set of new symmetries in the sM:diagonal reflection symmetries Rm_(u,v)^(*),R=m_(u,v),m_(d,e)^(*)=mde with R=diag(-1,1,1).These generalized CP symmetries predict the Majorana phases to beα_(2.3)/2-0π/*** of diagonal reflection symmetries implies a broken chiral U(1)po symmetry only for the first *** axion scale is suggested to be(θ_(u,d))~△GuT√m_(u,dm_(c,s))/v-10^(12)[GeV].By combining the symmetries with the four-zero texture,the mass eigenvalues and mixing matrices of quarks and leptons are reproduced *** scheme predicts the normal hierarchy,the Dirac phase ocp≈203°,and|ml|≈2.5 or 6.2[meV].In this scheme,the type-I seesaw mechanism and a given neutrino Yukawa matrix Y_(y)completely determine the structure of the right-handed neutrino mass M_(R).A u-y unification predicts the mass eigenvalues to be(M_(RI),M_(R2),M_(R3))=(O(10^(5)).O(10^(9)),O(10^(14))[Gev].

First of all, this paper discusses the drawbacks of multilayer perceptron (MLP), which is trained by the traditional back propagation (BP) algorithm and used in a special classification problem. A new training algorithm for neural networks based on genetic algorithm and BP algorithm is developed. The difference between the new training algorithm and BP algorithm in the ability of nonlinear approaching is expressed through an example, and the application foreground is illustrated by an example.

The results of investigation to assess the possibility of copper slag with high MgO to be used as a mineral admixture in concrete were reported in this study. The soundness of cement paste containing the slag has been examined by autoclave test. Pozzolanic activity of the slag was studied in comparison to fly ash. The slag was mixed calcium hydroxide and water,and the progress of the pozzolanic reaction was determined by X-ray diffraction,differential thermal analysis-thermogravimetry and scanning electron microscopy from 28 to 90 d. The experimental results showed that the autoclave expansion value of cement paste containing the slag was far below the expansion limit (0.8%). It can be conclude that the slag has little periclase content. The consumption of calcium hydroxide showed the slag exhibits high pozzolanic activity,which was higher than that of fly ash. Hence,use of the copper slag with high MgO but low periclase content as a mineral admixture in concrete seems feasible.

Remanufacturing is a key enabler for sustainable production due to its effectiveness in closing the loop on material flows, extending product life cycle and reducing production waste and emission. In this paper, a holistic decision support tool to facilitate the product end-of-life （EOL） strategy planning, specifically using remanufactur- ing as a key strategy is presented. The proposed model incorporates checklist methods to evaluate the viability of conducting remanufactufing for a product and its compo- nents. An optimization model for determining the Pareto set of optimal EOL strategies that correspond to maximum economic profit and minimum environmental impact is presented. since determination of this Pareto set via enu- meration of all EOL strategies is prohibitively time-con- suming, even for a product with a small number of components, genetic algorithm （GA）, specifically NsGA-II has been utilized to achieve rapid calculation of the set of optimum EOL strategies. This NsGA-II method permits extensive sensitivity analysis to understand thoroughly the impact of situational variables, such as reverse logistic cost, technology and replacement part availability, etc., on the EOL decision making, i.e., Pareto front, and thus leading to improved strategy planning and better product design. The case study involving EOL treatment of two types of desktop phones is described to illustrate the utility of the proposed methodology.

Microstructure and phase transformation behaviors of the film annealed at different temperatures were studied by X-ray diffractometry （XRD）, transmission electron microscopy and differential scanning calorimeter （DsC）. Also tensile tests were examined. For increasing annealed temperature, multiple phase transformations, transformations via a B19-phase or direct martensite/austenite transformtion are observed. The TiNiPd thin film annealed at 750℃ had relatively uniform martensite/austenite transformtion and shape memory effect. Martensite/austenite transformtion was also found in strain-temperature curves. subsequent annealing at 450℃ had minor effect on transformation temperatures of Ti-Ni-Pd thin films but resulted in more uniform transformation and improved shape memory effect.

Our previous study found that large-leaf yellow tea(LYT)had interesting hypoglycemic activity in high-fat diet-induced obese mice and highly safety in healthy mice. To study the anti-diabetic potential of LYT, the present study further investigated the preventive effects and mechanisms of action of LYT administration on diabetes and diabetic nephropathy in high-fat diet plus streptozotocin-induced diabetic mice. Results showed that LYT infusions(1/100 and 1/50, m/V)as drinking fluid for 4 weeks reduced diabetic polydipsia and polyuria, enhanced glucose tolerance and insulin sensitivity, and lowered fasting blood glucose level. The underlying mechanisms involve downregulation of gluconeogenesis(lower protein levels of TXNIP and FBP and enzyme activity of FBP), upregulation of lipid catabolism(higher protein levels of CPT-1α and PPARα), downregulation of lipogenesis(lower protein level of sREBP-1), and modification of the structure and abundance of gut microbiota to modulate metabolic homeostasis. Moreover, LYT administration prevented diabetic nephropathy, possibly due to reduced glucose-caused osmotic diuresis and lowered levels of renal PKC-β2, NLRP3 as well as membrane PKC-α, AQP2 and glycosylated AQP2 proteins. Taken together, LYT exhibits the activities in alleviating diabetic symptoms, ameliorating glucose and lipid dysmetabolism and fatty liver, and preventing diabetic nephropathy in diabetic mice. These activities may be explored for the prevention and treatment of diabetes in humans.

Microbridge testing is used to measure the Young's modulus and residual stresses of metallic *** film microbridges with widths of several hundred microns are fabricated by Microelectromechanical *** order to measure the mechanical properties of nickel film microbridges,special shaft structure is designed to solve the problem of getting the load--deflection curves of metal film microbridge by Nanoin--denter XP system with normal Berkovich *** analysis of the micro--bridge load--deflection curve is proposed to evaluate the Young's modulus and residual stress of the films *** calculated results based on the experimental measurements show that the average Young's modulus and residual stress are around 190GPa and 175MPa respectively,while the Young's modulus measured by Nano-hardness method on nickel film with silicon substrate is 186.8±7.34GPa.
