Indoor microbiome and allergic diseases:From theoretical advances to prevention strategies

The prevalence of allergic diseases,such as asthma,rhinitis,eczema,and sick building syndrome(SBS),has increased drastically in the past few *** medications can only relieve the symptoms but not cure these diseases whose development is suggested to be greatly impacted by the indoor ***,no study comprehensively summarizes the progress and general rules in the field,impeding subsequent translational *** close knowledge gaps between theoretical research and practical application,we conducted a comprehensive literature review to summarize the epidemiological,environmental,and molecular evidence of indoor microbiome *** evidence shows that the potential protective indoor microorganisms for asthma are mainly from the phyla Actinobacteria and Proteobacteria,and the risk microorganisms are mainly from Bacilli,Clostridia,and *** to extremely high microbial diversity and geographic variation,different health-associated species/genera are detected in different *** with indoor microbial composition,indoor metabolites show more consistent associations with health,including microbial volatile organic compounds(MVOCs),lipopolysaccharides(LPS),indole derivatives,and ***,indoor metabolites could be a better indicator than indoor microbial taxa for environmental assessments and health outcome *** interaction between the indoor microbiome and environmental characteristics(surrounding greenness,relative humidity,building confinement,and CO_(2) concentration)and immunology effects of indoor microorganisms(inflammatory cytokines and pattern recognition receptors)are briefly reviewed to provide new insights for disease prevention and *** used tools in indoor microbiome studies are introduced to facilitate standard practice and the precise identification of health-related targets.

A Sentence Retrieval Generation Network Guided Video Captioning

Currently,the video captioning models based on an encoder-decoder mainly rely on a single video input *** contents of video captioning are limited since few studies employed external corpus information to guide the generation of video captioning,which is not conducive to the accurate descrip-tion and understanding of video *** address this issue,a novel video captioning method guided by a sentence retrieval generation network(ED-SRG)is proposed in this ***,a ResNeXt network model,an efficient convolutional network for online video understanding(ECO)model,and a long short-term memory(LSTM)network model are integrated to construct an encoder-decoder,which is utilized to extract the 2D features,3D features,and object features of video data *** features are decoded to generate textual sentences that conform to video content for sentence ***,a sentence-transformer network model is employed to retrieve different sentences in an external corpus that are semantically similar to the above textual *** candidate sentences are screened out through similarity ***,a novel GPT-2 network model is constructed based on GPT-2 network *** model introduces a designed random selector to randomly select predicted words with a high probability in the corpus,which is used to guide and generate textual sentences that are more in line with human natural language *** proposed method in this paper is compared with several existing works by *** results show that the indicators BLEU-4,CIDEr,RouGE_L,and METEOR are improved by 3.1%,1.3%,0.3%,and 1.5%on a public dataset MSVD and 1.3%,0.5%,0.2%,1.9%on a public dataset MSR-VTT *** can be seen that the proposed method in this paper can generate video captioning with richer semantics than several state-of-the-art approaches.

Evaluating Anti-SmDl-amino-acid 83-119 Peptide Reactivity in Children with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus and Other Immunological Diseases

Background： SmD1-amino-acid 83-119 peptide （SmD183-119） is the major epitope of Smith （Sm） antigen, which is specific for adult systemic lupus erythematosus （SLE）. The anti-SmD183-119 antibody has exhibited higher sensitivity and specificity than anti-Sm antibody in diagnosing adult SLE. However, the utility of anti-SmD183-119 antibodies remains unclear in children with SLE （cSLE）. This study aimed to assess the characteristics of anti-StuD 183-119 antibody in the diagnosis of cSLE. Methods： Samples from 242 children with different rheumatological and immunological disorders, including autoimmune diseases （SLE [n = 46] and ankylosing spondylitis [AS, n = 11]）, nonautoimmune diseases （Henoch-Schonlein purpura [HSP, n = 60], idiopathic thrombocytopenia purpura [n = 27], hematuria [n = 59], and arthralgia [n = 39]） were collected from Shanghai Children＇s Medical Center from March 6, 2012 to February 27, 2014. Seventy age- and sex-matched patients were enrolled in this study as the negative controls. All the patients＇ sera were analyzed for the anti-SmD 183-119, anti-Sm, anti-U 1-nRNP, anti-double-stranded DNA （dsDNA）, anti-nucleosome, anti-SSA/Ro60, anti-SSA/Ro52, anti-SSB, anti-Scl-70, and anti-histone antibodies using the immunoblotting assay. The differences in sensitivity and specificity between anti-SmD183-119 and anti-Sm antibodies were compared by Chi-square test. The correlations between anti-SmD183-119 and other auto-antibodies were analyzed using the Spearman＇s correlation analysis. A value of P 〈 0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results： Thirty-six out of 46 patients with cSLE were found to be positive for anti-SmD183-119, while 12 patients from the cSLE cohort were found to be positive for anti-Sm. Compared to cSLE, it has been shown that anti-SmD183-119 was only detected in 27.3% of patients with AS and 16.7% of patients with HSP. Potential effects of the nursing work environment on the work-family conflict in operating room nurses

BACKGRouND The nursing working environment is an important subsystem in the hospital environment.A good working environment could have a positive impact on ***,the work-family conflict and unsatisfactory working environment could significantly reduce their working enthusiasm,efficacy as well as the overall quality of the nursing,increase their fatigue,and thereby compromise their career *** To explore the possible status quo and to analyze the correlation between work environment perception and the work-family conflict among nurses in the operating *** A total of 312 operating room nurses from two first-class hospitals at Grade 2 and two first-class hospitals at Grade 3 in China from May to September 2017 were included in this research using the cluster sampling *** data,including the general information questionnaire,the practice environment scale of the nursing work index(PES-NWI),and the work-family conflict scale,were systematically *** correlation analysis was applied to analyze the correlation between the two scores,with influencing factors analyzed by hierarchical regression *** A total of 312 questionnaires were issued,and the response rate and effective questionnaire rate were both 96.15%(300/312).The total scores of the PES-NWI scale and the work-family conflict scale were 3.07±0.43(vs maximum up to 4 points)and 52.32±8.79(vs maximum up to 90 points),*** scores of the PES-NWI scale were negatively correlated with that of work-family conflict scale(all Pound at a medium level with a negative correlation between the two.

Calibration of the Solar X-ray Detector on-board the Macao Science Satellite-1B for Soft X-ray Detection

The Solar X-ray Detector(SXD) on-board the Macao Science Satellite-1B(MSS-1B) was successfully launched via the Chinese Long March-2C rocket on 21 May 2023, and commenced operations in early June of the same year. The MSS-1B/Soft X-ray Detection Units(SXDUs) employ two silicon drift detectors(SDDs), providing a wide range of energy spectra spanning from 0.7 to 24 keV. Notably, the SXDUs deliver a high-resolution capability of 0.14 keV@5.9 keV and operate with a time cadence of 1 second. Here, we perform thorough calibrations of the MSS-1B/SXDUs, employing a combination of ground experiments and simulations. In addition, quantitative analysis comparing the flux measurements obtained by the MSS-1B/SXDUs to the data collected by the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite(GOES), provides compelling evidence of their consistency. furthermore, the preliminary spectral analysis results showcase the robustness and expected performance of the MSS-1B/SXDUs, unlocking their potential for facilitating the study of dynamic evolution of solar flares. Moreover, the innovative MSS-1B/Solar X-ray Detector facilitates concurrent observations of solar soft and hard X-rays, thereby making valuable contributions to the advancements in solar research.

According to folk usage of Aconitum carmichaelii Debx., the present study was designed to determine the feasibility of the stems and leaves of Aconitum carmichaelii Debx. as a new medicinal resource. Fourteen alkaloids in mother roots, fibrous roots, stems, and leaves of Aconitum carmichaelii Debx. were measured by HPLC-MS/MS. And multivariate analysis methods, such as clustering analysis and principal component analysis, were applied to analyze the difference among various parts. In addition, the acute toxicity, analgesia, and anti-inflammatory tests were carried out. The results suggested that the contents of alkaloids in mother roots and fibrous roots were approximate, but those of leaves and stems were different from mother roots and fibrous roots. The results of the acute toxicity testing demonstrated the toxicity of fibrous root was strongest, and mother roots were slightly less toxic than fibrous roots. The stems and leaves were far less toxic than mother and fibrous roots. In addition, the analgesia and inflammatory tests showed the effects of the various tissues had no difference each other. These results provided a basis for developing new complementary and alternative treatments for rheumatoid arthritis patients. Simultaneously, the approach may also turn wastes into treasure and promote the development of circular economy.

An Intelligent Recommendation System for Real Estate Commodity

Most real estate agents develop new objects by visiting unfamiliar clients, distributing leaflets, or browsing other real estate trading website platforms,whereas consumers often rely on websites to search and compare prices when purchasing real property. In addition to being time consuming, this search processrenders it difficult for agents and consumers to understand the status changes ofobjects. In this study, Python is used to write web crawler and image recognitionprograms to capture object information from the web pages of real estate agents;perform data screening, arranging, and cleaning;compare the text of real estateobject information;as well as integrate and use the convolutional neural networkof a deep learning algorithm to implement image recognition. In this study, dataare acquired from two business-to-consumer real estate agency networks, i.e., theSinyi real estate agent and the Yungching real estate agent, and one consumer-toconsumer real estate agency platform, i.e., the, FiveNineOne real estate agent. Theresults indicate that text mining can reveal the similarities and differences betweenthe objects, list the number of days that the object has been available for sale onthe website, and provide the price fluctuations and fluctuation times during thesales period. In addition, 213,325 object amplification images are used as a database for training using deep learning algorithms, and the maximum image recognition accuracy achieved is 95%. The dynamic recommendation system for realestate objects constructed by combining text mining and image recognition systems enables developers in the real estate industry to understand the differencesbetween their commodities and other businesses in approximately 2 min, as wellas rapidly determine developable objects via comparison results provided by thesystem.
