Simulation of energy and water balance in Soil-Vegetation-Atmosphere Transfer system in the mountain area of Heihe River Basin at Hexi Corridor of northwest china

In the mountain area of inland Heihe River Basin at Hexi Corridor of northwest china during the vegetation growing season from May to September, the Simultaneous Heat and Water (SHAW) model of Soil-Vegetation-Atmosphere Transfer (SVAT) system is applied to simulating and studying energy and water balance of the soil-residue-plant canopy layers in the Picea crassifolia forest and the grassland by the forest at the shaded slope and the grassland at the sun-facing slope. The simulation of energy balance indicates that net radiation of the grass- land at the sun-facing slope is more than that of the Picea crassifolia forest and the grassland by the forest at the shaded slope. The energy outgoing components are the first latent heat and next sensible heat from the grassland both at the shaded slope and the sun-facing slope, but those at the former are less. The energy outgoing components are the first sensible heat and next latent heat from the Picea crassifolia forest. The composition and distribution of energy in the soil-residue-plant canopy layers in the Picea crassifolia forest and the grassland by the forest at the shaded slope make the soil layer receive less energy, which therefore, especially the forest possesses the energy conditions for soil water conservation. The simulation of water balance indicates that the water loss of the grassland at the sun-facing slope is mainly caused by soil evaporation, while evapotranspiration of the Picea crassifolia forest and the grassland by the forest at the shaded slope is less than that of the grassland at the sun-facing slope. Half of the evapotranspiration of the Picea crassifolia forest and the grassland by the forest at the shaded slope is consumed by transpiration. After precipitation, the soil water storage is increased much more for the Picea crassifolia forest and also more for the grassland by the forest at the shaded slope. In recent years,the“power restriction”measures were taken in many localities,industrial electricity consumption was interrupted,mainly in the“two high”(high energy consumption and high pollutant emission)*** the“power restriction”event in 2021 as an example,this event affected a wide range of regions and disrupted people’s *** not only refers to the power switch and rationing measures taken by individual regions,but also includes differentiated policies implemented by over 20 provinces to limit power supply and industrial *** paper investigated in detail and summarized the different requirements of power restriction across the country,through the comparison of annual growth rates of power generation and industrial added value,the comparison results of energy intensity,electricity production,power consumption and the industrial growth rate in each province are *** enterprises and related industrial chains were most heavily affected by the“power restriction”event,mainly in steel,cement,electrolytic aluminum,industrial silicon,textile printing and dyeing,chemical fiber,chemical and other enterprises with high energy consumption and high pollutants *** measures to limit electricity will affect the normal production of enterprises to a certain extent,leading to not only the decrease of production efficiency,but also the increase of energy consumption and pollutant emission per unit *** management measures such as differentiated electricity price have limited effect on the output of“two high”industrial products,and the economic leverage of differentiated electricity price is gradually being diluted by the price rise of end *** paper analyzed the reasons and explored several key problems that need special *** recommended certain countermeasures for its appropriate application in the future.

Tris)(η 5-cyclopentadienyl-μ-carbonyl-iron)-μ3-nitrosyl cluster was obtained from the reaction of cyclopentadienyl dicarbonyliron dimer with nitrogen monoxide in xylene. The cluster was characterized by elemental analyses, IR, MS and 1H NMR. The crystal structure of [(η5-C5H5)(μ-CO)Fe]3(μ3-NO).C4H8O was determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. It crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pnma, a=9.053(2), 6=10.545(2), c=22.525(4) A, V=2150.3(7) A3, Z=4,Dc=1.68 ***-3; structure solution and refinement based on 1141 reflections with I > 3.0 (I) (MoKa, A=0.71073 A) converged at R=0.0540. The infrared absorption band at 1325 cm-1 of the μ3-NO in the cluster, which is red shifted, shows that μ3-NO is activated.

A silylated melamine sponge(SMS)was prepared by two simple steps,namely,immersion and dehydration of a melamine sponge coated with *** silylated structure of SMS was characterized by FT-IR(Fourier-transform infrared)spectroscopy,SEM(Scanning electron microscopy)and in terms of water contact *** oil-water absorption and separation capacities were measured by FT-IR and UV-visible *** experimental results have shown that oligomeric silanol covalently bonds by Si-N onto the surface of melamine sponge *** has shown superhydrophobicity with a water contact angle exceeding 150°±1°,a better separation efﬁciency with regard to diesel oil(by 99.31%(wt/wt%)in oil-water mixture and even up to 99.99%(wt/wt%)for diesel oil in its saturated aqueous ***,SMS inherited the intrinsicﬂame retardancy of the melamine *** general,SMS has shown superhydrophobicity,high porosity,excellent selectivity,remarkable recyclability,and better absorption capacity for various oils and organic solvents,and a high separation efﬁciency for oil in saturated aqueous solutions.

Microstructure and properties of thermal-sprayed NiCrWRE coatings

The powders of NiCrW and NiCrWRE alloys were flame sprayed on a medium-carbon steel substrate by thermal spray welding. The micro- structure and tribological behavior of coatings were studied experimentally by means of scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, field emission gun scanning electron microscope （FEGSEM）, and wear tests. The addition of CeO2 modifies the coating morphology from a needle-like structure to a roughly cubic morphology; the refining and purifying effect of rare earth elements makes the microstmcture more compact and finer. Analysis of the worn surfaces reveals that the coatings with CeO2 addition show improved abrasive wear resistance over those without CeO2. By adding CeO2, the hardness of the coatings is significantly increased, and the wear resistance of the coatings is enhanced.

Inhibition of Heterogeneous Nucleation in Water by Hydrogel Coating

Heterogeneous nucleation plays a critical role in the phase transition of water,which can cause damage in various ***,we report that heterogeneous nucleation can be inhibited by utilizing hydrogel coatings to isolate solid surfaces and ***,which contain over 90%water when fully swelled,exhibit a high degree of similarity to *** to this similarity,there is a great energy barrier for heterogeneous nucleation along the water-hydrogel ***,hydrogel coatings,which possess polymer networks,exhibit higher fracture energy and more robust adhesion to solid surfaces compared to *** high fracture and adhesion energy acts as a deterrent for fracture nucleation within the hydrogel or along the hydrogel-solid *** a hydrogel layer approximately 100μm thick,the boiling temperature of water under atmospheric pressure can be raised from 100 to 108℃.Notably,hydrogel coatings also result in remarkable reductions in cavitation pressure on multiple solid *** have demonstrated the efficacy of hydrogel coatings in preventing damages resulting from acceleration-induced *** coatings have the potential to alter the energy landscape of heterogeneous nucleation on the water-solid interface,making them an exciting avenue for innovation in heat transfer and fluidic systems.
