Objective This study aimed to analyze the clinical efficacy of the Jianpi Shengxue tablet for treating renal anemia.Methods A total of 200 patients with renal anemia from December 2020 to December 2022 were enrolled and randomly divided into two groups.Patients in the control group were treated with polysaccharide-iron complex,and those in the experimental group were administered Jianpi Shengxue tablet.After 8 weeks of continuous treatment,the therapeutic outcomes regarding anemia were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the red blood cell(RBC)count,hematocrit(HCT),reticulocyte percentage(RET),ferritin(SF),serum iron(SI),transferrin saturation(TSAT),and serum albumin(ALB)all increased(P<0.01),and the clinical symptom score and total iron binding capacity decreased(P<0.01)in the experimental group.Moreover,the improvements in RBC,HCT,RET,SF,SI,TAST,ALB,and clinical symptoms(fatigue,anorexia,dull skin complexion,numbness of hands and feet)in the experimental group were significantly greater than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate for treating renal anemia was significantly higher in the experimental group than in the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion The Jianpi Shengxue tablet demonstrates efficacy in treating renal anemia,leading to significant improvements in the laboratory examination results and clinical symptoms of patients with renal anemia.

An Interactive Collaborative Creation System for Shadow Puppets Based on Smooth Generative Adversarial Networks

Chinese shadow puppetry has been recognized as a world intangible cultural heritage.However,it faces substantial challenges in its preservation and advancement due to the intricate and labor-intensive nature of crafting shadow puppets.To ensure the inheritance and development of this cultural heritage,it is imperative to enable traditional art to flourish in the digital era.This paper presents an Interactive Collaborative Creation System for shadow puppets,designed to facilitate the creation of high-quality shadow puppet images with greater ease.The system comprises four key functions:Image contour extraction,intelligent reference recommendation,generation network,and color adjustment,all aimed at assisting users in various aspects of the creative process,including drawing,inspiration,and content generation.Additionally,we propose an enhanced algorithm called Smooth Generative Adversarial Networks(SmoothGAN),which exhibits more stable gradient training and a greater capacity for generating high-resolution shadow puppet images.Furthermore,we have built a new dataset comprising high-quality shadow puppet images to train the shadow puppet generation model.Both qualitative and quantitative experimental results demonstrate that SmoothGAN significantly improves the quality of image generation,while our system efficiently assists users in creating high-quality shadow puppet images,with a SUS scale score of 84.4.This study provides a valuable theoretical and practical reference for the digital creation of shadow puppet art.

Optimal Concentration of the Bubble Drainage Agent in Foam Drainage Gas Recovery Applications

Foam drainage is theflow of liquid through the interstitial spaces between bubbles driven by capillarity and grav-ity and resisted by viscous damping.The so-called foam drainage gas recovery technology is a technique tradi-tionally used to mitigate the serious bottom-hole liquid loading in the middle and late stages of gas well production.In this context,determining the optimal concentration of the bubble drainage agent is generally cru-cial for the proper application of this method.In this study,a combination of indoor experiments and theoretical analysis have been used to determine the pressure drop related to the foam-carrying capacity in a representative gasfield.Dynamic and static experiments were designed with a bubble drainage agent concentration varying in the range 0.3%–0.6%.Using thefield formation water data,the optimal soaking agent concentration was obtained and pressure drop test experiments on the foam carrying capacity were conducted accordingly.These tests have revealed that the optimal foam displacement agent concentration is 0.5%,and the foam quality at the optimum concentration is between 0.78–0.98.A theoretical method for calculating the pressure drop at the optimum soak-away concentration based on experimental data has also been introduced.The error of the proposed method is within 15%compared to the experimental measured value,demonstrating that it is highly accurate and simple.

Rectal Cancer Stages T2 and T3 Identification Based on Asymptotic Hybrid Feature Maps

Many existing intelligent recognition technologies require huge datasets for model learning.However,it is not easy to collect rectal cancer images,so the performance is usually low with limited training samples.In addition,traditional rectal cancer staging is time-consuming,error-prone,and susceptible to physicians’subjective awareness as well as professional expertise.To settle these deficiencies,we propose a novel deep-learning model to classify the rectal cancer stages of T2 and T3.First,a novel deep learning model(RectalNet)is constructed based on residual learning,which combines the squeeze-excitation with the asymptotic output layer and new cross-convolution layer links in the residual block group.Furthermore,a two-stage data augmentation is designed to increase the number of images and reduce deep learning’s dependence on the volume of data.The experiment results demonstrate that the proposed method is superior to many existing ones,with an overall accuracy of 0.8583.Oppositely,other traditional techniques,such as VGG16,DenseNet121,EL,and DERNet,have an average accuracy of 0.6981,0.7032,0.7500,and 0.7685,respectively.

Solvent and guest-binding-controlled chiroptical inversion of molecular devices based on pseudo[1]catenane-type pillar[5]arene derivatives

Four pillar[5]arene-based bicyclic compounds,so-called molecular universal joint(MUJ),were synthesized by incorporating a bisamide ring containing N,O,or S-heteroatom groups,which served as stimuli-responsive chiroptical molecular devices.The structure of MUJ was confirmed by 1H NMR spectra and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis,and their planar-chiral enantiomers were successfully separated.Chiroptical inversion behaviors from in to out configurations triggered by temperature,solvent,and guest complexation were investigated by circular dichroism spectra.Chiroptical inversion could be realized in the presence of adiponitrile in certain solvents due to the solvation effects on the side ring and the threading of the guest into the pillar[5]arene cavity.However,the stronger self-included interactions between the cavity and the inside ring of certain MUJs led to inhibition of the switching.

西藏自治区层级医疗设施可达性精细化评价

西藏自治区地处青藏高原,地理环境独特,精细化评价该地区医疗设施可达性对于促进医疗服务均等化具有重要的现实意义。本文使用西藏自治区地形和高程等自然地理数据、土地利用、路网、医疗设施以及人口数据,在1 km×1 km栅格尺度精细化评价各级医疗设施的就医时间,统计不同就医时间段内覆盖的人口比例,识别缺医区,并评价就近就医和就地就医方式下可达性的空间差异,为优化西藏医疗设施的配置提出建议。结果表明,西藏市级医院、县级医院和卫生院在1 h内分别可覆盖36.01%、65.55%和86.54%的人口,低等级医疗设施的覆盖人口比例较高。通过人口密度与就医可达性的耦合分析,识别出的缺医区主要位于那曲市与昌都市。就近就医与就地就医方式存在可达性差异的地区主要位于山南市与林芝市,建议在政策上促进这些地区居民跨行政区就近就医便利化。本文建立了适用于青藏高原医疗设施可达性精细化评价的方法框架,并系统评价了西藏自治区医疗设施可达性格局,为促进医疗服务均等化提供科学依据。

Ce-and La-doped polymetallic layered double hydroxides for enhanced oxygen evolution reaction performance at high current density

Polymetallic layered double hydroxides are promising cost-effective catalysts for the oxygen evolution reaction（OER） due to their versatile anionic and cationic tunability. Nevertheless, several challenges persist, notably, issues related to low electrical conductivity, poor catalytic activity, and stability, especially at high current density. Herein, we report the design of Ce-and Ladoped Co Ni Fe-layered double hydroxide（Ce La Co Ni Fe-LDH） nanosheets through a facile and scalable in situ self-assembly strategy that displays enhanced OER activity. Experimental and theoretical investigations provide insights into the impact of Ceand La-doping by comparing Ce Co Ni Fe-LDH, La Co Ni Fe-LDH, and pristine Co Ni Fe-LDH, all synthesized using the same methodology. These results reveal that doping Ce3+and La3+into Co Ni Fe-LDH substantially improves its electronic structure,resulting in enhanced conductivity, more oxygen vacancies（Vo）, electron interaction, and active site formation. Consequently,significantly reduced overpotentials of 175, 314, and 424 m V at 10, 100, and 500 m A cm-2, respectively, and a highly stable current density of 120 h in 1 M KOH were achieved. Notably, these performance metrics surpass those of unmodified LDHs and are competitive with many lanthanide-doped transition metal-based LDH electrocatalysts, as well as noble metal catalysts like ruthenium catalysts. This work represents a pioneering effort in doping Ce3+and La3+ions into a functional Co Ni Fe-based electrocatalyst, offering inspiring OER performance and scalability potential.

General strategy for ultrabroadband and wideangle absorbers via multidimensional design of functional motifs

Developing wide-angle,polarization-independent,and effective electromagnetic absorbers that endow devices with versatile characteristics in solar,terahertz,and microwave regimes is highly desired,yet it is still facing a theoretical challenge.Herein,a general and straightforward strategy is proposed to surmount the impedance mismatching in the ultrabroadband and wide-angle absorber design.A vertical atom sticking on N×N horizontal meta-atoms with conductive film is proposed as the functional motif,exhibiting the strong ohmic dissipation along both vertical and horizontal directions.Assisted by the intelligent optimization strategy,the structure dimension,location,and film distribution are designed to maintain absorbing performance under different incident angles.As a demonstration,an absorber was designed and proved in both simulation and experiment.Significantly,the over 10 d B absorption from 5 to 34 GHz is achieved in the range of 0°to 70°for both TE and TM,and even 3 to 40 GHz from 60°to 70°for the TE wave.Meanwhile,the proposed multidimensional design of functional motifs can be attached with optical transparency function at will.That is to say,our effort provides an effective scheme for expanding matching area and may also be made in optical,infrared,and terahertz regimes.
