Investigating the molecular mechanism of Chelidonii herba against liver cancer using network pharmacology and molecular docking validation

系统梳理裸子植物系统分类历史,按标志性研究进展,将1753年以来裸子植物分类研究历史划分为6个发展阶段:第1阶段为混沌时期(1753—1827年),从Linnaeus至Brown提出裸子植物概念之前,裸子植物未被作为一个类群处理,以Linnaeus的性系统为代表;第2阶段为概念形成时期(1827—1843年),从Brown发现裸子植物至Brongniart正式将裸子植物处理为一个类群之前,是裸子植物发现和概念的确立时期;第3阶段为萌芽时期(1843—1864年),从Brongniart至Braun之前,这一时期人们虽然将裸子植物作为一个类群处理,但还是将它作为被子植物双子叶植物的一个部分,代表系统如Bentham&hooker的分类系统;第4阶段为裸子植物系统分类的奠基时期(1864—1926年),从Braun至Pilger,这个阶段人们将裸子植物从被子植物中独立出来,发现了银杏精子具鞭毛这样的原始性状,将银杏从红豆杉类植物中分出,厘清了裸子植物的主要传代线,奠定了裸子植物系统分类的基础,但是该时期人们对裸子植物科的概念还比较模糊,以Eichler和Engler的系统为代表,为后续分类系统奠定基础;第5阶段为“百家争鸣”时期(1926—2011年),从Pilger至Christenhusz等之前,该时期提出的分类系统很多,分类阶元的应用从目至门都有不同的观点,且从形态学、解剖学、胚胎学、植物化学、古植物学、分支分类学等方面,证据类型和方法十分多样。争论主要集中在银杏、红豆杉类和买麻藤类等类群的亲缘关系和系统归属,以及对罗汉松科、杉科和柏科的界定方面,以Pilger系统和郑万钧为代表;第6阶段是分子系统学和整合分类学时期(2007—),从Anderson等至今,该时期以分支分类学原理为准则,以系统发生树为骨架,综合分子系统学、解剖学、形态学、植物化学以及分子系统学等证据,建立和完善裸子植物分类系统,以yang等提出的裸子植物分类系统为本阶段的代表性分类系统。笔者还展望了裸子植物未来在物种界定、整合分类学以及保护生物学等方面的重点研究发展趋势。

A ph/ROS dual-responsive system for effective chemoimmunotherapy against melanoma via remodeling tumor immune microenvironment

Chemotherapeutics can induce immunogenic cell death(ICD)in tumor cells,offering new possibilities for cancer ***,the efficiency of the immune response generated is insufficient due to the inhibitory nature of the tumor microenvironment(TME).here,we developed a ph/reactive oxygen species(ROS)dual-response system to enhance chemoimmunotherapy for *** system productively accumulated in tumors by specific binding of phenylboronic acid(PBA)to sialic acids(SA).The nanoparticles(NPs)rapidly swelled and released quercetin(QUE)and doxorubicin(DOX)upon the stimulation of tumor microenvironment(TME).The in vitro and in vivo results consistently demonstrated that the NPs improved anti-tumor efficacy and prolonged survival of mice,significantly enhancing the effects of the *** study revealed DOX was an ICD inducer,stimulating immune responses and promoting maturation of dendritic cells(DCs).Additionally,QUE served as a TME regulator by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase-2(COX2)-prostaglandin E2(PGE2)axis,which influenced various immune cells,including increasing cytotoxic T cells(CLTs)infiltration,promoting M1 macrophage polarization,and reducing regulatory T cells(Tregs)*** combination synergistically facilitated chemoimmunotherapy efficacy by remodeling the immunosuppressive *** work presents a promising strategy to increase anti-tumor efficiency of chemotherapeutic agents.

Internet Inter-Domain Path Inferring: Methods, Applications, and Future Directions

The global Internet is a complex network of interconnected autonomous systems (ASes). Understanding Internet inter-domain path information is crucial for understanding, managing, and improving the Internet. The path information can also help protect user privacy and security. however, due to the complicated and heterogeneous structure of the Internet, path information is not publicly available. Obtaining path information is challenging due to the limited measurement probes and collectors. Therefore, inferring Internet inter-domain paths from the limited data is a supplementary approach to measure Internet inter-domain paths. The purpose of this survey is to provide an overview of techniques that have been conducted to infer Internet inter-domain paths from 2005 to 2023 and present the main lessons from these studies. To this end, we summarize the inter-domain path inference techniques based on the granularity of the paths, for each method, we describe the data sources, the key ideas, the advantages, and the limitations. To help readers understand the path inference techniques, we also summarize the background techniques for path inference, such as techniques to measure the Internet, infer AS relationships, resolve aliases, and map IP addresses to ASes. A case study of the existing techniques is also presented to show the real-world applications of inter-domain path inference. Additionally, we discuss the challenges and opportunities in inferring Internet inter-domain paths, the drawbacks of the state-of-the-art techniques, and the future directions. © 2024 The Authors. The evasion of carbon dioxide(CO_(2))from lakes significantly influences the global carbon *** global climatic transformations,the role of Qingzang Plateau(QZP)lakes as carbon(C)sources or sinks remains a subject of ***,accurately quantifying their contribution to the global carbon budget presents a formidable ***,spanning half a century(1970e2020),we utilize a synthesis of literature and empirical field data to assess the CO_(2) exchange flux of QZP *** find markedly higher CO_(2) exchange flux in the southeast lakes than that in the northern and western regions from 1970 to *** this time,both freshwater and saltwater lakes served primarily as carbon *** annual CO_(2) exchange flux was estimated at 2.04±0.37 Tg(Tg)C yr1,mainly influenced by temperature *** CO_(2) exchange flux patterns underwent a geographical inversion between 2000 and 2020,with increased levels in the west and decreased levels in the ***,CO_(2) emissions from freshwater lakes diminished,and certain saltwater lakes in the QTP transitioned from carbon sources to *** 2000 to 2020,the annual CO_(2) exchange flux from QZP lakes is estimated at 1.34±0.50 Tg C yr1,with solar radiation playing a more pronounced role in carbon ***,over the past five decades,QZP lakes have generally functioned as carbon ***,the total annual CO_(2) emissions have declined since the year 2000,indicating a potential shift trend from being a carbon source to a sink,mirroring broader patterns of global climate *** findings not only augment our understanding of the carbon cycle in plateau aquatic systems but also provide crucial data for refining China's carbon budget.

Three New hydroxytetradecenals from Amomum tsao-ko with Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase 1B and Glycogen Phosphorylase Inhibitory Activity

The fruits of Amomum tsao-ko(Cao-Guo)were documented in Chinese Pharmacopoeia for the treatment of abdominal pain,vomiting,and *** our previous study,a series of diarylheptanes and flavonoids withα-glucosidase and protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B(PTP1B)inhibitory activity have been reported from the middle-polarity part of ***-ko,whereas the antidiabetic potency of the low-polarity constituents is still *** this study,three new hydroxytetradecenals,(2E,4E,8Z,11Z)-6R-hydroxytetradeca-2,4,8,11-tetraenal(1),(2E,4E,8Z)-6R-hydroxytetradeca-2,4,8-trienal(2)and(2E,4E)-6R-hydroxytetradeca-2,4-dienal(3)were obtained from the volatile oils of *** structures of compounds 1–3 were determined using spectroscopic data involving 1D and 2D nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR),high-resolution mass spectra(hRMS),and specific rotation([α]D).Their hypoglycemic activity was evaluated against glycogen phosphorylase(GPa)and *** 1 and 2 displayed moderate activity against PTP1B with inhibition rates of 33.8%−50.3%at 100 and 200μ***,compound 1 exhibited an obvious inhibitory effect on GPa(IC50=31.7μM),whereas compound 2 was *** study demonstrates hydroxytetradecenals as the characteristic components of ***-ko with therapeutic potential in diabetes.

OBJECTIVE:To test the hypothesis that moxibustion may inhibit rheumatoid arthritis(RA)synovial inflammation by regulating the expression of macrophage migration inhibitory factor(MIF)/glucocorticoids(GCs).METhODS:Fifty male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into five groups(n=10 each):blank Control(CON)group,RA Model(RA)group,Moxibustion(MOX)group,MIF inhibitor(S,R)-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-4,5-dihydro-5-isoxazole acetic acid methyl ester(ISO-1)group,and Moxibustion+MIF inhibitor ISO-1(MOX+ISO-1)*** in the ISO-1 group and ISO-1+MOX group were intraperitoneally injected with the inhibitor *** rats in the RA group,ISO-1 group,MOX group,and ISO-1+MOX group were injected with Freund's complete adjuvant(FCA)in the right hind footpad to establish an experimental RA rat *** the MOX group and MOX+ISO-1 group,rats were treated with *** thickness of the footpads of the rats in each group was measured at three-time points before,after modeling and after moxibustion *** contents of serum MIF,corticosterone(CORT),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and interleukin-1β(IL-1β)were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay;and the contents of synovial MIF were detected by Western ***-eosin(hE)staining method was used to observe the pathological changes of synovial tissue under a section light microscope,and pathological scoring was performed according to the grading standard of the degree of synovial tissue ***:Moxibustion was found to reduce the level of MIF and alleviate inflammation in RA rats in this *** addition,after inhibiting the expression of MIF,the level of CORT increased,and the level of TNF-α *** RA rats with inhibited MIF by moxibustion,the level of CORT was almost unchanged,but the level of TNF-α further *** correlation analysis data suggested that MIF was positively related to the expression of TNF-α and negatively correlated with the expression of ***:Reducing MIF to
