Rice production is crucial for food security in china,and its relationship with rural labor migration has been studied *** migration in rural china has taken new forms in recent *** has been a discernible trend wherein adult children have started migrating to cities while their elderly parents return to villages to re-engage in on-farm *** phenomenon has notably shaped the intergenerational division of labor(IDL)within ***,it remains to be seen how farmers adjust their rice production systems in response to the *** age of 60 years for employment injury insurance is the eligibility threshold for off-farm employment and is used to obtain a source of exogenous variation in the *** on a representative household survey of 1,752 rice farmers in the Hubei Province of central china,our fuzzy regression discontinuity analysis reveals that farmers in IDL households are more likely to adopt ratoon rice(RR)than single cropping rice(SR)or double cropping rice(DR).The effect of the IDL varies under different levels of operational scales and specialized agricultural service *** analysis suggests that farmers’arrangements are associated with two potential mechanisms of downward intergenerational *** transfer for urban housing purchases increases RR in IDL households,and time transfer for intergenerational childcare significantly promotes SR in IDL *** study enhances the understanding of the relationship between rural labor migration and rice production in china,providing a reference for adjusting rice production systems to ensure food security.

Reducing kinetic energy barriers and developing accessible active sites are critical to deliver high hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)*** this paper,we synthesized defect-modulated and heteroatom(boron)-functionalized three-dimensional(3D)bowl-shaped Ti_(3−x)c_(2)T_(y)MXene(B-TcT)nanocavities coupled with the vertical growth of MoSe_(2)*** B-TcT@MoSe_(2)nanohybrids catalyst delivers the overpotentials of 49.9,52.7,and 67.8 mV to reach a HER current density of 10 mA·cm^(−2)under acidic,alkaline,and neutral conditions,*** outstanding HER activity is predominantly attributed to the heteroatom functionalization,self-adapting Ti vacancy(VTi)defect modulation,and spatial configuration design in the 3D B-TcT nanocavity,which synergistically regulate the electronic structure,activate the basal plane/edge unsaturated sites,and reduce the reaction energy *** and theoretical calculations demonstrate that strong heterogeneous interfacial bonding interactions between B-TcT and MoSe_(2)can dramatically reduce the free energy of hydrogen adsorption and facilitate efficient interfacial charge migration,thus essentially improving the HER *** used this 3D porous nanohybrid system assembled by defectrich lamellar structures to elucidate the advantageous synergistic effects of multiple mechanisms among defect structure,heteroatom functionalization,and interfacial coupling,which provided important insights for the development of efficient hybridtype catalysts.

This article introduces a high-power microwave mechanical integrated continuous mining device,which can achieve synchronous cutting of hard rocks by microwave and *** device includes a cutting system,a rotary translation system,a loading system,a high-power microwave system,and a control and monitoring *** technology of“master-slave follow-up”disc cutter alternating side cutting of rock was proposed,which could improve the effectiveness of rock *** integrated structure of a microwave-cut system was then proposed,and synchronous motion of the microwave-cut system and adjustment of the loading system could be *** automatic adjustment technology of the microwave working distance was developed to dynamically control the optimal microwave working *** basic functions of the equipment were verified by *** comparing the two types of disk cutters,it is found that the master-slave follow-up disk cutter can improve significantly the dust removal effect and rock breaking efficiency in rock breaking process versus the conventional large disc *** tests of slate with or without microwave were conducted using a master-slave follow-up disk *** results show that the cutting patterns of slates change from intermittent chunks(without microwave irradiation)to persistent debris(with microwave irradiation),and the cutting speed is significantly improved(170%).The development of the device provides a scientific basis for changing the conventional mining technology of metal mines and realizing the mechanical continuous mining in hard metal mines.

The interaction of MgO-MgAl_(2)O_(4)-based and MgO-cr_(2)O_(3)-based refractories with X70 molten steel was studied by immersion experiments at 1560℃.The effects of immersion time(30 and 60 min)on the contents of total oxygen(TO),Al,Nb,Si,Mn,and cr as well as the composition,number density,and size distribution of inclusions in the molten steel were *** influence of the penetration and erosion degree of the molten steel to the refractory on the steel-refractory interface layer was *** results show that,at 1560℃,the MgO-MgAl_(2)O_(4)-based refractory can better control the contents of TO and the composition of molten steel compared with the MgO-cr_(2)O_(3)-based *** TO content is only 16×10^(-4) wt.%in the molten steel after reacted with the Mg0-MgAl_(2)O_(4)-based refractory at the end point of refining,4 accounting for 11.5%of that reacted with the MgO-cr_(2)O_(3)-based refractory(139×10^(-4) wt.%).The number density of inclusions is only 14 mm^(-2),and the average size ofinclusions is only 1.31μm,with thelargest proportion of inclusions in 1-2μm(70%).The Al_(2)O_(3)-MnS-cao complex inclusions in the original steel changed to complex inclusions dominated by cr-Nb-Mn-S-O and ***_(2)O_(3),corresponding to the MgO-cr_(2)O_(3)-based and MgO-MgAl_(2)O_(4)-based refractories,*** ***_(2)O_(3) layer was formed at the reaction interface between MgO-MgAl_(2)O_(4)-based refractory and molten steel,which is helpful to restrict the erosion of refractories and the pollution of molten *** damage mechanism of the MgO-cr_(2)O_(3)-based refractory is mainly permeation and chemical reaction,while the damage of the MgO-MgAl_(2)O_(4)-based refractory is mainlyscouring erosion.

Detecting genes that affect specific traits(such as human diseases and crop yields)is important for treating complex diseases and improving crop quality.A genome-wide association study(GWAS)provides new insights and directions for understanding complex traits by identifying important single nucleotide *** GWAS summary statistics data related to various complex traits have been gathered *** have shown that GWAS risk loci and expression quantitative trait loci(e QTLs)often have a lot of overlaps,which makes gene expression gradually become an important intermediary to reveal the regulatory role of *** this review,we review three types of gene-trait association detection methods of integrating GWAS summary statistics and e QTLs data,namely colocalization methods,transcriptome-wide association study-oriented approaches,and Mendelian randomization-related *** the theoretical level,we discussed the differences,relationships,advantages,and disadvantages of various algorithms in the three kinds of gene-trait association detection *** further discuss the performance of various methods,we summarize the significant gene sets that influence highdensity lipoprotein,low-density lipoprotein,total cholesterol,and triglyceride reported in 16 *** discuss the performance of various algorithms using the datasets of the four lipid *** advantages and limitations of various algorithms are analyzed based on experimental results,and we suggest directions for follow-up studies on detecting gene-trait associations.

Analysis of sensitivity to hydrate blockage risk in natural gas gathering pipeline

During the operational process of natural gas gathering and transmission pipelines, the formation of hydrates is highly probable, leading to uncontrolled movement and aggregation of hydrates. The continuous migration and accumulation of hydrates further contribute to the obstruction of natural gas pipelines, resulting in production reduction, shutdowns, and pressure build-ups. consequently, a cascade of risks is prone to occur. To address this issue, this study focuses on the operational process of natural gas gathering and transmission pipelines, where a comprehensive framework is established. This framework includes theoretical models for pipeline temperature distribution, pipeline pressure distribution, multiphase flow within the pipeline, hydrate blockage, and numerical solution methods. By analyzing the influence of inlet temperature, inlet pressure, and terminal pressure on hydrate formation within the pipeline, the sensitivity patterns of hydrate blockage risks are derived. The research indicates that reducing inlet pressure and terminal pressure could lead to a decreased maximum hydrate formation rate, potentially mitigating pipeline blockage during natural gas transportation. Furthermore, an increase in inlet temperature and terminal pressure, and a decrease in inlet pressure, results in a displacement of the most probable location for hydrate blockage towards the terminal station. However,it is crucial to note that operating under low-pressure conditions significantly elevates energy consumption within the gathering system, contradicting the operational goal of energy efficiency and reduction of energy consumption. consequently, for high-pressure gathering pipelines, measures such as raising the inlet temperature or employing inhibitors, electrical heat tracing, and thermal insulation should be adopted to prevent hydrate formation during natural gas transportation.
