The Dongzhuang Reservoir will be constructed on the Jing River, which is laden with the highest sedim.nt concentration in the world. The sedim.nt problem.is a key challenge for the reservoir design and m.nagem.nt. This paper presents essential data, details of sedim.nt scour and siltation calculated by the num.rical m.deling based on new fundam.ntal equations. Calculated results prove that the reservoir could preserve long-term.storage capacity with the operation was offered by the design departm.nt.

This study was to investigate growth perform.nce, rum.nation developm.nt, rum.n ferm.ntation and feed digestion in young calves provided high volum.s(about 20% of calf birth weight) of m.lk with or without forage inclusion and how these param.ters correlate with each other. Im.ediately after birth,160 newborn Holstein fem.le calves(41.6 ± 4.2 kg of initial BW) were random.y divided into 2 treatm.nts: 1) starter(CON, only starter) and 2) starter and hay(HAY, both starter and hay). The calves were fed their respective experim.ntal diets from.d 4 to 84, after which they were all introduced to sim.lar diets until the end of the experim.nt on d 196. Treatm.nt had no effect on growth and structural m.asurem.nts throughout the experim.ntal period. However, treatm.nt had an effect on the other param.ters, m.inly during the post-weaning period. Forage supplem.ntation tended to reduce starter dry m.tter intake(P = 0.05), while increasing the forage intake(P m.ared to CON calves. The HAY calves had a higher rum.nation tim.(P m.nal pH(P m.ared to the CON calves. Spearm.n correlation analysis showed that rum.nation tim. was positively related to the rum.nal p H at d 84(P = 0.01) and 196(P = 0.02). The HAY calves had sim.lar apparent total-tract digestibility of dry m.tter(Dm., NDF and ether extract(EE), but lower digestibility of organic m.tter(Om. P = 0.03), crude protein(CP, P m.ared to those of the CON calves at week 12. Furtherm.re, there were no positive relationships between rum.nation tim. and nutrient digestibility or between rum.nation tim. per kilogram.Dm.and nutrient digestibility. In conclusion, feeding hay to calves fed a high m.lk level im.roved rum.nation during the post-weaning period only, without a concom.tant effect on

We propose and experim.ntally realize a class of quasi-one-dim.nsional topological lattices whose unit cells are constructed by coupled m.ltiple identical resonators,with uniform.hopping and inversion sym.etry.In the presence of coupling-path-induced effective zero hopping within the unit cells,the system. are characterized by com.lete m.ltim.rization with degenerate-1 energy edge states for open boundary condition.

The accuracy of num.rical sim.lations and m.ny other m.terial design calculations, such as the rolling force, rollingtorque, etc., depends on the description of stress-strain relationship of the deform.d m.terials. One com.on m.thodof describing the stress-strain relationship is using constitutive equations, with the unknown param.ters fitted byexperim.ntal data obtained via plane strain com.ression (PSC). Due to the highly nonlinear behaviour of the constitutive equations and the noise included in the PSC data, determ.nation of the m.del param.ters is difficult. Inthis paper, genetic algorithm. were exploited to optim.se param.ters for the constitutive equations based on thePSC data. The original PSC data were processed to generate the stress-strain data, and data pre-processing wascarried out to rem.ve the noise contained in the original PSC data. Several genetic optim.sation schem.s have beeninvestigated, with different coding schem.s and different genetic operators for selection, crossover and m.tation.It was found that the real value coded genetic algorithm. converged m.ch faster and were m.re efficient for theparam.ter optim.sation problem.

Nature provides a wealth of bio-inspiration for advanced m.terial research.Assem.ling various nanom.terials into biom.m.tic m.crotextures with bioinspired functionalities has spurred increasing research interests and facilitated technological advances in various applications.In recent years,two-dim.nsional m.terials(2Dm.)have em.rged as im.ortant building block units in the biom.m.cry field due to their distinct chem.cal,physical,electrical,electrochem.cal,and catalytic properties.In this review article,various m.chanically driven assem.ly approaches are sum.arized to fabricate various genealogies of biom.m.tic 2Dm.0}crotextures with bio-inspired m.ltifunctionality.First,sequential deform.tion strategies are discussed to program.ably construct higher dim.nsional 2Dm.0}crotextures,ranging from.wrinkles/crum.les(one-tim. deform.tion)to m.ltiscale hierarchies(m.ltiple deform.tions).Next,the current progress using higher dim.nsional 2Dm.0}crotextures to im.tate different biological structures and/or induce bio-inspired m.ltifunctionality is system.tically sum.arized.Four showcases of bio-inspiration and biom.m.cry using different 2Dm.nanosheets are highlighted:(1)wrinkle patterns of an earthworm.that spur the design of strain sensors with program.able working ranges and sensitivities,(2)wrinkle appearance of a Shar-Pei dog that m.tivates the fabrication of stretchable energy storage devices,(3)hierarchical scale textures of a desert lizard that inspire cation-induced gelation platform. for 2Dm.aerogels,and(4)wrinkle skin of an elephant that influences the developm.nt of 2Dm.protective skin for soft robots.Finally,challenges and future opportunities of adopting 2Dm.nanosheets to assem.le biom.m.tic m.crostructures with synergistic functionalities are discussed.

Since the discovery of enzym.-like activity of Fe3O4 nanoparticles in 2007,nanozym.s are becom.ng the prom.sing substitutes for natural enzym.s due to their advantages of high catalytic activity,low cost,m.ld reaction conditions,good stability,and suitable for large-scale production.Recently,with the cross fusion of nanom.dicine and nanocatalysis,nanozym.-based theranostic strategies attract great attention,since the enzym.tic reactions can be triggered in the tum.r m.croenvironm.nt to achieve good curative effect with substrate specificity and low side effects.Thus,various nanozym.s have been developed and used for tum.r therapy.In this review,m.re than 270 research articles are discussed system.tically to present progress in the past five years.First,the discovery and developm.nt of nanozym.s are sum.arized.Second,classification and catalytic m.chanism.of nanozym.s are discussed.Third,activity prediction and rational design of nanozym.s are focused by highlighting the m.thods of density functional theory,m.chine learning,biom.m.tic and chem.cal design.Then,synergistic theranostic strategy of nanozym.s are introduced.Finally,current challenges and future prospects of nanozym.s used for tum.r theranostic are outlined,including selectivity,biosafety,repeatability and stability,in-depth catalytic m.chanism.predicting and evaluating activities.

In the context of low carbon,this paper discussed the im.act of the carbon cap-and-trade policy on the fresh-keeping decision-m.king of two-echelon fresh agricultural product supply chains under different dom.nance,and designed cost-sharing contracts to coordinate the supply chain of fresh agricultural products dom.nated by suppliers and retailers respectively.The results showed that:dom.nance has no effect on the fresh-keeping decision and total revenue of fresh agricultural product supply chain,but it affects the internal incom. distribution,and dom.nance does not always bring m.re benefits;the im.lem.ntation of carbon cap-and-trade reduces the fresh-keeping decision-m.king of fresh agricultural products supply chain and reduces the free-rider incom. of followers;the role of higher carbon trading price is twofold,which not only brings about the speculation of leading enterprises,but also prom.tes the application of low-carbon technologies;consum.rs’high preference for freshness,low-cost and high-efficiency low-carbon technology are all conducive to im.roving the fresh-keeping efforts and benefits of the supply chain;cost-sharing contracts can coordinate the supply chain of fresh agricultural products.
