The supercritical CO_(2)(s-CO_(2)) Brayton cycle is expected to replace steam cycle in the application of solar power tower system due to the attractive potential to improve efficiency and reduce *** the concentrated solar power plant with thermal energy storage is usually located in drought area and used to provide a dispatchable power output,the s-CO_(2) Brayton cycle has to operate under fluctuating ambient temperature and diverse power demand *** addition,the cycle design condition will directly affect the off-design *** this work,the combined effects of design condition,and distributions of ambient temperature and power demand on the cycle operating performance are analyzed,and the off-design performance maps are proposed for the first time.A cycle design method with feedback mechanism of operating performance under varied ambient temperature and power demand is introduced *** show that the low design value of compressor inlet temperature is not conductive to efficient operation under low loads and sufficient output under high ambient *** average yearly efficiency is most affected by the average power demand,while the load cover factor is significantly influenced by the average ambient *** multi-objective optimization,the optimal solution of designed compressor inlet temperature is close to the minimum value of35℃ in Delingha with low ambient temperature,while reaches 44.15℃ in Daggett under the scenario of high ambient temperature,low average power demand,long duration and large value of peak load during the peak temperature *** the cycle designed with compressor inlet temperature of 35℃ instead of 44.15℃ in Daggett under light industry power demand,the reduction of load cover factor will reach 0.027,but the average yearly efficiency can barely be improved.

The insensitivity of semiconductors to visible and infrared light is a key constraint on the utilization of light energy in photocatalytic *** photocatalysts with full-spectrum absorption through surface engineering is an effective approach to fully harnessing light energy in semiconductor ***,a novel stable Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)MXene/Cds heterojunction catalyst is obtained by in-situ epitaxial growth of two-dimensional(2D)Cds nanosheets on 2D MXene interface via a solvothermal *** exceptional light absorption properties of MXene confer outstanding full-spectrum driven photocat-alytic hydrogen evolution capability upon the heterogeneous *** unique 2D/2D structure effectively mitigated the recombination of photogenerated carriers,enhancing the photocatalytic performance of the ***,the composite catalyst exhibits a significantly higher surface temperature of 80.4℃under visible light irradiation at an intensity of 0.1 W/cm^(2),which is 1.84 times higher than that of *** irradiation of visible and near infrared light,the composite catalyst with photothermal ef-fect demonstrates a remarkable hydrogen evolution rate of 65.4 mmol g^(-1)h^(-1),which is 7.2 times higher than that of Cds *** study introduces a novel approach for constructing full-spectrum absorption catalysts and expands the application of the photothermal effect in photocatalytic hydrogen evolution research.

Previous studies show that individual investors play a dominant role in China's stock *** behavior of chasing-rise being stronger than killing-fall leads to asymmetry of feedback *** article investigates how mutual funds react to this market *** China's stock and fund data from 2003 to 2019,we find that mutual funds tend to hold fewer shares when asymmetric feedback trading of the relevant stock gets more *** negative relationship is robust after controlling past returns,turnover rates,and firm risk factors,moreover,it attenuates when the market sentiment is bullish or when stocks are allowed *** results show that mutual funds'selling towards asymmetric feedback trading does not make excess return but leads to significant risk *** findings may be related to uncertainty associated with asymmetric feedback trading,and thus support the limit market participation theory from the second largest stock market.

Extreme droughts are increasing in frequency and severity globally as a result of climate *** understanding of species’responses to drought is crucial for their conservation,especially in regions experi-encing increased *** numerous studies have investigated birds’responses to drought,the emphasis has primarily been on *** can significantly alter the wetland environments that waterbirds inhabit,but the response of waterbirds to drought remains *** this study,we surveyed the distri-bution and behavior of Oriental storks(Ciconia boyciana)in Poyang Lake,which is the largest freshwater lake in *** indicate that drought-induced catchment areas at the lowest water level limited the total popu-lation size of Oriental storks in the ***-lakes with large catchment areas at the lowest water level demonstrated a capacity to support a larger population of wintering Oriental *** time,Oriental storks exhibited a gradual concentration in Changhu Lake,characterized by larger catchments,after resource depletion in sub-lakes with smaller ***,the duration of Oriental storks’vigilance and moving be-haviors decreased significantly compared with that observed before the *** the drought,Oriental storks increased their foraging efforts,as evidenced by increased presence in deeper water and reaching their heads and necks into deeper water to forage,higher search rates,but lower foraging *** accordance with area-restricted search theory,reductions in habitat quality resulting from drought,including extensive fish die-offs,forced Oriental storks to increase their foraging *** a specific water area in sub-lakes during droughts can preserve resource availability,which is crucial for the conservation of Oriental ***-menting measures such as water level control and micro-modification of lake bottoms in sub-lakes might mitigate the impact of drought on the pisc

In this paper,we propose an analytical stochastic dynamic programming(sDP)algorithm to address the optimal management problem of price-maker community energy *** a price-maker,energy storage smooths price differences,thus decreasing energy arbitrage ***,this price-smoothing effect can result in significant external welfare changes by reduc-ing consumer costs and producer revenues,which is not negligible for the community with energy storage *** such,we formulate community storage management as an sDP that aims to maximize both energy arbitrage and community *** incorporate market interaction into the sDP format,we propose a framework that derives partial but sufficient market information to approximate impact of storage operations on market *** we present an analytical sDP algorithm that does not require state *** from computational efficiency,another advantage of the analytical algorithm is to guide energy storage to charge/discharge by directly comparing its current marginal value with expected future marginal *** studies indicate community-owned energy storage that maximizes both arbitrage and welfare value gains more benefits than storage that maximizes only *** proposed algorithm ensures optimality and largely reduces the computational complexity of the standard *** Terms-Analytical stochastic dynamic programming,energy management,energy storage,price-maker,social welfare.
