The development of highly active and stable acidic water oxidation electrocatalysts is of great significant for promoting the industrial application of proton exchange membrane ***-based catalysts have broad application prospects in acidic water oxidation,but their limitations in stability and activity hinder their further ***,a nitrogen-doped carbon(NC)coated porous Ru/RuO_(2)heterojunctional hollow sphere(Ru/RuO_(2)/NC)is designed as high-active and stable bifunctional electrocatalyst for acidic oxygen evolution reaction(OER)and hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).In synthesis,the key is to use mesoporous polydopamine spheres as a template for forming hollow spheres,a source of NC coating and a reducing agent for forming Ru/RuO_(2)*** Ru/RuO_(2)heterojunction adjusts the electronic structure of Ru active sites,optimizing the adsorption of intermediate ***,the NC coating and the interaction between NC and Ru/RuO_(2)effectively prevent Ru from over-oxidation and *** porous hollow structure provides more exposed active sites and promotes mass ***,Ru/RuO_(2)/NC exhibits outstanding OER and HER performance with low overpotentials of 211 and 32 mV at 10 mA·cm^(−2),respectively,and shows excellent *** acid water splitting electrolyzer,based on the bifunctional Ru/RuO_(2)/NC,requires low cell voltages of 1.46 and 1.76 V at 10 and 100 mA·cm^(−2),respectively,with good stability for over 100 h operation,surpassing Pt/C||RuO_(2)and most of the reported catalysts.

Spinel MnCo_(2)O_(4) is a promising energy storage candidate as anode materials in lithium-ion batteries owing to synergistic effects of two intrinsic solid-state redox ***,low conductivity,poor rate capacity and rapid capacity fading have seriously impaired its practical *** overcome the inferiorities,urchin-like MnCo_(2)O_(4)@C core–shell nanowire arrays have been fabricated directly within a porous copper current collector via a facile hydrothermal method followed by a chemical vapor deposition carbonization *** a typical nanowire,the core is composed of interconnected MnCo_(2)O_(4)nanoparticles and the shell shows as a thin amorphous carbon *** integrated MnCo_(2)O_(4)@C/Cu structure could act as working anodes without using additives or polymer *** MnCo_(2)O_(4)@C/Cu possesses slightly longer Li-ion insertion/desertion pathway than that of MnCo_(2)O_(4)/Cu,the carbon shell could effectively prevent the pulverization of MnCo_(2)O_(4) and lower down charge transfer resistance and actively participate in Li-ion *** rearrangement of carbon atoms during lithiation/delithiation cycling could inhibit the formation of passive solid electrolyte interphase *** a result,the MnCo_(2)O_(4)@C/Cu electrode presents superior rate capacity(600 mAh·g^(−1) at 1 A·g^(−1)) and better stability(797 mAh·g^(−1) after 200 cycles at 100 mA·g^(−1)).The excellent reversible Li ion storage capacity,cycling stability and rate capacity endow MnCo_(2)O_(4)@C/Cu great potential as stable and high output integrated anode materials in Li-ion batteries.

With the increasing impacts of climate change and resource depletion,dielectric capacitors,with their exceptional stability,fast charging and discharging rates,and ability to operate under more extreme conditions,are emerging as promising high-demand candidates for high-performance energy storage devices,distinguishing them from traditional electrochemical capacitors and ***,due to the shortcomings of various dielectric ceramics(e.g.,paraelectrics(PEs),ferroelectrics(FEs),and antiferroelectrics(AFEs)),their low polarizability,low breakdown strength(BDS),and large hysteresis loss limit their standalone use in the advancement of energy storage ***,synthesizing novel perovskite-based materials that exhibit high energy density,high energy efficiency,and low loss is crucial for achieving superior energy storage *** this review,we outline the recent development of perovskitebased ferroelectric energy storage ceramics from the perspective of combinatorial optimization for tailoring ferroelectric hysteresis loops and comprehensively discuss the properties arising from the different combinations of *** also provide future guidelines in this ***,the combinatorial optimization strategy in this review will open up a practical route toward the application of new high-performance ferroelectric energy storage devices.

Semantic segmentation-based semantic communication system for image transmission

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence and the widespread use of the Internet of Things, semantic communication, as an emerging communication paradigm, has been attracting great interest. Taking image transmission as an example, from the semantic communication's view, not all pixels in the images are equally important for certain receivers. The existing semantic communication systems directly perform semantic encoding and decoding on the whole image, in which the region of interest cannot be identified. In this paper, we propose a novel semantic communication system for image transmission that can distinguish between Regions Of Interest (ROI) and Regions Of Non-Interest (RONI) based on semantic segmentation, where a semantic segmentation algorithm is used to classify each pixel of the image and distinguish ROI and RONI. The system also enables high-quality transmission of ROI with lower communication overheads by transmissions through different semantic communication networks with different bandwidth requirements. An improved metric θPSNR is proposed to evaluate the transmission accuracy of the novel semantic transmission network. Experimental results show that our proposed system achieves a significant performance improvement compared with existing approaches, namely, existing semantic communication approaches and the conventional approach without semantics.

Monogenic disorders refer to a group of human diseases caused by mutations in single genes. While disease-modifying therapies have offered some relief from symptoms and delayed progression for some monogenic diseases, most of these diseases still lack effective treatments. In recent decades, gene therapy has emerged as a promising therapeutic strategy for genetic disorders. Researchers have developed various gene manipulation tools and gene delivery systems to treat monogenic diseases. Despite this progress, concerns about inefficient delivery, persistent expression, immunogenicity, toxicity, capacity limitation, genomic integration, and limited tissue specificity still need to be addressed. This review gives an overview of commonly used gene therapy and delivery tools, along with the challenges they face and potential strategies to counter them.

针对无人车使用传统多目标跟踪算法在复杂的校园场景中跟踪效果不好、实时性差等问题,提出了一种面向校园复杂环境的无人车前方多目标跟踪算法。首先,基于YOLOv4-tiny目标检测算法设计检测器,增加算法的检测层以提高小目标检测精度;随后在筛选出的数据集上进行模型训练和试验,试验结果表明,改进后检测器的检测精度AP提高了5.4%,运行速率FPS达到114.3 f/s。其次,在获取检测框后,以检测结果为输入,使用无迹卡尔曼滤波器预测目标轨迹,解决卡尔曼滤波在目标非线性状态下鲁棒性差的问题。然后,将预测得到的新轨迹通过匈牙利算法和当前检测视频帧数进行匹配,并使用IOU匹配算法对匹配不成功的轨迹和检测结果进行关联匹配。最后,进行无迹卡尔曼滤波更新。无人车校园跟踪试验表明,与原DeepSORT算法相比,改进跟踪算法的多目标跟踪准确度MOTA提升数值为4.1%,多目标跟踪精度MOTP提升数值为3.4%,FPS提升了33.8 f/s,有效提高了无人车的安全性。

Disinfection by chloramination produces toxic byproducts and the difference in toxicity of reclaimed and drinking water treated by chloramination remains *** study investigated cytotoxic effects at the same concentrations of dissolved organic matter and showed that chloraminated effluent organic matter(EfOM)induced 1.7 times higher cytotoxicity than chloraminated natural organic matter(NOM)applied to simulate drinking *** EfOM induced more reactive nitrogen species than chloraminated NOM,and chloraminated EfOM and NOM induced similar and higher levels of reactive oxygen species than the negative control,***,intracellular macromolecule damage indicated by DNA/RNA damage marker 8–hydroxy-(deoxy)guanosine and the intracellular protein carbonyl concentration induced by chloraminated EfOM was higher and slightly more than that induced by chloraminated NOM,*** data were consistent with the effects on cell physiological *** cycle arrest mainly occurred in G2 phase by chloraminated EfOM and *** apoptotic cells,which could return to normal,increased upon exposure to high concentrations of chloraminated EfOM and ***,necrotic cells were significantly increased from 0.5%to 2.5%when the concentration increased from 20-to 60-fold chloraminated EfOM,but were not obviously changed by chloraminated *** results indicated that the comprehensive intracellular changes induced by toxic substances in chloraminated EfOM were more irreversible and induced more cell death than chloraminated NOM.

Method for determining the position of landslide slip-surface with a typical inclinometric curves

In the actual monitoring of deep hole displacement,the identification of slip surfaces is primarily based on abrupt changes observed in the inclinometric *** conventional identification methods,inclinometric curves exhibiting indications of sliding can be categorized into three types:B-type,D-type,and *** position of the slip surface is typically determined by identifying the depth corresponding to the point of maximum displacement ***,this method is sensitive to the interval of measurement points and the observation scale of the coordinate axes and suffers from unclear sliding surfaces and uncertain *** on the variation characteristics of these diagonal curves,we classified the landslide into three components:the sliding body,the sliding interval,and the immobile ***,three different generalization models were established to analyze the relationships between the curve form and the slip surface location based on different physical indicators such as displacement rate,relative displacement,and *** results show that the displacement rate curves of an r-type slope exhibit a clustering feature in the sliding interval,and by solving for the depth of discrete points within the step phase,it is possible to determine the location of the slip *** the other hand,D-type slopes have inflection points in the relative displacement curve located at the slip *** acceleration curves of B-type slopes exhibit clustering characteristics during the sliding interval,while the scattered acceleration data demonstrate wandering ***,the slip surface location can be revealed by solving the depth corresponding to the maximum acceleration with cubic spline *** approach proposed in this paper was applied to the monitoring data of a landslide in Yunnan Province,*** results indicate that our approach can accurately identify the slip surface location and enable computability of its po

湿地是流域水循环和水量平衡的重要调节器,在维护流域水量平衡、减轻洪旱灾害和应对气候变化等方面发挥极其重要的作用。流域湿地水文调蓄功能是湿地生态水文学研究的重要内容,科学认识和理解流域湿地水文调蓄功能对流域湿地恢复保护、水资源综合管控与应对气候变化具有极其重要的意义。本文阐述了流域湿地水文调蓄功能的概念与内涵,剖析了流域湿地水文调蓄功能时空变异性、阈值性和多维性三大特征及其影响因素(包括湿地土壤特性、植被特征和初始水文条件等内在因素和流域特征、降雨特征、气候变化和人类活动等外在因素),探讨了流域湿地不变情景下和变化情景下水文调蓄功能评估方法,并介绍了流域湿地水文调蓄功能定量评估模型与应用情况。最后,从学科发展和实践需求的视角提出了流域湿地水文调蓄功能未来亟需加强研究的重点方向。
