The effects of 1-methylcyclopropene (1-MCP) on postharvest quality of Zizania latifolia during storage at 25˚C were investigated. The results pointed out that a postharvest application of 1-MCP maintained the good visual appearance of fresh Z. latifolia, inhibited browning, mildew and weight loss at the bottom of Z. latifolia, and there is no significant changes on L, a*, b* and ΔE during the whole storage period. In addition, 1-MCP treatment inhibited the respiratory intensity of Z. latifolia during the first three days of storage, but it was significantly higher than that of the control on the sixth day of storage. Compared with the control, 1-MCP treatment maintained relatively high SOD, CAT, APX activities and low PAL, POD, PLD, lipase and LOX activities, delayed the decline of AsA content, reduced the accumulation of O2-, H2O2 and MDA, and ultimately maintained the integrity of cell structure and delayed the senescence of Z. latifolia. In addition, positive effects of 1-MCP on maintaining the cell structure integrity were observed in this investigation throughout the storage period at 25˚C.

Substance use and self-medication during pregnancy and associations with sociodemographic data:A cross-sectional survey

Objective:To identify women vulnerable to substance use and self-medication during pregnancy based on associations with socio-demographic data.Methods:Data were collected in person,with self-developed questionnaires,from pregnant women(n=422)in Chengdu,China,from July to November 2012.Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to reveal associations with socio-demographic parameters.Results:Higher educational background,being employed,and higher educational background of the mother were associated with a 37%[odds ratio(OR):0.63,95%CI:0.45-0.89],65%(OR:0.35,95%CI:0.13-0.94),and 29%(OR:0.71,95%CI:0.53-0.96)less likelihood of alcohol use,respectively.Adverse pregnancy outcome was associated with a 2.13-fold(OR:2.13,95%CI:1.07-4.25)greater likelihood of alcohol use.Young age and higher educational background were associated with an 11%(OR:0.89,95%CI:0.81-0.98)and 31%(OR:0.69,95%CI:0.49-0.98)less likelihood of cigarette smoking,respectively.Conclusion:Socio-demographic parameters were associated with substance use during pregnancy and warrants targeted health education provided by nurses to pregnant women.

Oral squamous cell carcinoma is one of the most common malignant tumours in the oral and maxillofacial regions and is highly malignant and prone to recur despite the development of various effective treatments,including surgery and chemoradiotherapy.Actually,it is difficult to ensure the complete elimination of tumour cells,and maxillofacial bone defects caused by surgery are hard to heal by themselves.In addition,chemoradiotherapy can bring serious side-effects.Therefore,it is imperative to develop a postoperative therapy to kill residual squamous cancer cells and repair bone defects without any side-effects.Here,we prepared a 3D scaffold by a 3D printing technique and freeze-drying method,which contained collagen,silk and hydroxyapatite(CSH)and was functionalized with MXene nanosheets(M-CSH).The considerable photothermal effect with long-term stability can significantly kill squamous CAL-27 cancer cells in vitro and inhibit tumour growth in vivo,increasing the probability of the M-CSH scaffold being applied in the photothermal therapy of oral squamous cell carcinoma.Moreover,the cell proliferation-and osteogenic-related protein expression of mouse embryonic osteogenic precursors(MC3T3-E1)indicated excellent biocompatibility and osteogenic activity of M-CSH scaffolds.The good compression modulus(52.8362.25 kPa)and in vivo bone formation performance made it possible to be used as reconstructive materials for bone defects.This scaffold is likely promising in future tissue engineering,especially for the multifunctional treatment of maxillofacial tumours.

Peripheral nerve regeneration requires stepwise and well-organized establishment of microenvironment.Since local delivery of VEGF-A in peripheral nerve repair is expected to promote angiogenesis in the microenvironment and Schwann cells(SCs)play critical role in nerve repair,combination of VEGF and Schwann cells may lead to efficient peripheral nerve regeneration.VEGF-A overexpressing Schwann cells were established and loaded into the inner wall of hydroxyethyl cellulose/soy protein isolate/polyaniline sponge(HSPS)conduits.When HSPS is mechanically distorted,it still has high durability of strain strength,thus,can accommodate unexpected strain of nerve tissues in motion.A 10 mm nerve defect rat model was used to test the repair performance of the HSPS-SC(VEGF)conduits,meanwhile the HSPS,HSPS-SC,HSPS-VEGF conduits and autografts were worked as controls.The immunofluorescent co-staining of GFP/VEGF-A,Ki67 and MBP showed that the VEGF-A overexpressing Schwann cells could promote the proliferation,migration and differentiation of Schwann cells as the VEGF-A was secreted from the VEGF-A overexpressing Schwann cells.The nerve repair performance of the multifunctional and flexible conduits was examined though rat behavioristics,electrophysiology,nerve innervation to gastrocnemius muscle(GM),toluidine blue(TB)staining,transmission electron microscopy(TEM)and NF200/S100 double staining in the regenerated nerve.The results displayed that the effects on the repair of peripheral nerves in HSPS-SC(VEGF)group was the best among the conduits groups and closed to autografts.HSPS-SC(VEGF)group exhibited notably increased CD31+endothelial cells and activation of VEGFR2/ERK signaling pathway in the regenerated nerve tissues,which probably contributed to the improved nerve regeneration.Altogether,the comprehensive strategy including VEGF overexpressing Schwann cells-mediated and HSPS conduit-guided peripheral nerve repair provides a new avenue for nerve tissue engineering.

近年来,随着信息技术的不断发展,各种数据呈现爆炸式的增长,传统的机器学习算法只有当测试数据与训练数据分布类似时,学习算法才能取得较好的性能,换句话说,它们不能在动态环境中连续自适应地学习,然而,这种自适应学习的能力却是任何智能系统都具备的特性.深度神经网络在许多应用中显示出最好的学习能力,然而,使用该方法对数据进行增量更新学习时,会面临灾难性的干扰或遗忘问题,导致模型在学习新任务之后忘记如何解决旧任务.连续学习(continual learning,CL)的研究使这一问题得到缓解.连续学习是模拟大脑学习的过程,按照一定的顺序对连续非独立同分布的(independently and identically distributed,IID)流数据进行学习,进而根据任务的执行结果对模型进行增量式更新.连续学习的意义在于高效地转化和利用已经学过的知识来完成新任务的学习,并且能够极大程度地降低遗忘带来的问题.连续学习研究对智能计算系统自适应地适应环境改变具有重要的意义.基于此,系统综述了连续学习的研究进展,首先概述了连续学习的定义,介绍了无遗忘学习、弹性权重整合和梯度情景记忆3种典型的连续学习模型,并对连续学习存在的关键问题及解决方法进行了介绍,之后又对基于正则化、动态结构和记忆回放互补学习系统的3类连续学习模型进行了分类和阐述,并在最后指明了连续学习进一步研究中需要解决的问题以及未来可能的发展方向.

目的:基于腧穴敏化理论,探查热敏灸治疗功能性便秘的有效性和优效性。方法:将90例患者随机分为3组,分别为热敏灸组、非热敏灸组与西药组,每组30例,疗程结束观察患者中医症状评分、生活质量评分与总疗效,并进行安全性判定。结果:在中医症状评分、生活质量评分方面,3组受试者治疗后分别与治疗前组内比较,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.01),治疗后3组患者两组间比较,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。3组受试者疗效比较,热敏灸组总有效率86.67%(26/30),非热敏灸组总有效率80.00%(24/30),西药组总有效率73.33%(22/30),经秩和检验,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论:在腧穴敏化理论指导下,热敏灸组治疗功能性便秘优于非热敏灸组和西药组,且无任何不良反应。

An experimental bimorph piezoelectric element (PZT) actuator for small piperobot is developed. The robot can move in φ20 mm pipe, and can carry a CCD camera for detectingcracks or fine holes on inner surface of pipe. The velocity of the robot can reach 17～22 mm/s forvertical pipe up/down, respectively. Moving principle and its performance characteristics arepresented.

目的计算和比较中国、美国、欧盟发展中国家和发达国家中老年人健康预期寿命(HLE),分析社会经济因素对不同国家或地区中老年人生命长度及质量的影响。方法使用2010-2019年调查,数据分别来自中国老年健康与退休追踪调查、美国老年人健康和退休调查以及欧洲健康、老龄化和退休调查,其中欧盟发达国家和欧盟发展中国家被分为两组分别计算。选择文化程度、家庭经济水平以及工作退休状态作为社会经济指标,日常生活自理能力作为健康状态指标。使用多状态生命周期表法计算在某一时段内不同健康状态间的转换概率,测算HLE。结果研究共纳入69544例中老年人,年龄上,欧盟发达国家和美国中老年人在各年龄段中均有更高HLE;性别上,仅中国女性的HLE低于中国男性。社会经济因素上,文化程度较高、家庭经济水平高的中老年人有更高HLE;在中国,工作的中老年人有更高的HLE,而在美国女性和欧盟发达国家,退休/无业的中老年人有更高的HLE。结论人口和社会经济因素对不同国家或地区中老年人的HLE影响有所不同,作为发展中国家,中国应当更加关注女性、文化程度较低、家庭经济水平低的退休中老年人健康。

为提高嵌入式实时系统的能耗管理效率,降低传统动态电压缩放对系统稳定性的影响,提出了基于历史认知的鲸鱼算法支持下的动态能耗优化方案。首先提出非线性动态控制收敛因子的策略,有效加快了算法收敛速度。其次采用历史最优解作为收缩包围机制中的种群干扰因子,设计了混合引导策略来平衡算法的局部开发和全局搜索能力。最后根据动态电压缩放技术可以实时改变处理器频率的特征,利用改进算法对任务量10、30和50进行优化,验证了改进算法的有效性。
