To improve the wear performance of CoCrAlYTa coating,part of the carbon nanotubes(CNTs)chemically reacted with Ta to form reinforcement phase(TaC),while the other CNTs were retained as lubrication ***,the CoCrAlYTa-xCNTs(x=0,1,2,and 4;wt%)composite coatings were prepared by laserinduction hybrid cladding(LIHC),and the microstructure and wear resistance of coatings were systematically *** show that the coatings are mainly composed of TaC,y-(Co,Cr)andβ-(Co,Cr)*** the CNTs content increases from 0 wt%to 4 wt%,the volume fraction of TaC increases from 13.11 vol%to 16.12 vol%.Meanwhile,the nano-hardness ofγ-(Co,Cr)andβ-(Co,Cr)Al are improved from 7.49 and 9.72 to 9.36 and 11.19 GPa,*** a result,the microhardness of coating increases from HV536.25 to HV 738.16,the wear rate decreases from32.4×10^(-3)to 6.1×10^(-3)mg·m^(-1),and the average friction coefficient decreases from 0.55 to *** good wear performance of the coating is attributed to the formation of TaC and the existence of remained CNTs lubricant film.

The effect of rare earth （RE） on bainite trans- formation mechanism is not yet unified in the academia. Therefore, further studying the effect of RE on bainite transformation mechanism will have important guiding significance for the development of bainite steels. In this paper, using differential dilatometer （DIL805A/D）, heat treatment was performed and C-curve was drawn. The effect of phase structure factor on bainite transformation under two different fractions of RE in Si-Mn-Mo bainite steels was investigated by the empirical electron theory （EET） of solids, molecules, dilatometry, and metallogra- phy. Experimental results show that RE makes Fe-C- RE segregation structural unit of Si-Mn-Mo bainite steels increase, i.e., the values of phase structure factor （na, FDC） increase, and delay bainite transformation due to the drag effect resulting from the segregation of RE ferrite island interphase and the retardation of RE to carbon diffusion in Si-Mn-Mo bainite steels. Beside this, C-curve is shifted to right and down, and microstructures of bainite ferrite and substructures are finer.

A chemical composite plating of Ni-B_(4)C was used to prepare the surface-modified zirconia toughened alumina(ZTA)ceramic *** ceramic preforms were prepared by the plated ZTA and sodium silicate solution binder,followed by casting infiltration to prepare the ZTA particles reinforced high chromium cast iron(HCCI)*** result reveals that a distinct interface layer forms at the ZTA/HCCI interface,which consists of phases of ZrB_(2),FeB,Fe_(2)B,and NaSiO_(4).The interfacial wettability between ZTA and HCCI is improved by the diffusion and reaction of Ni and B_(4)*** wear test reveals that the Ni-B_(4)C plated ZTA particles can effectively improve the wear resistance of the ZTA/HCCI composite,and the wear rate of the composite is decreased to 11.6%of HCCI.

A new type of high chromium cast iron(HCCI)was prepared,and its microstructure,mechanical properties,and abrasion resistance were investigated *** showed that after surface carburizing and chromizing,the microstructure of HCCI mainly consists of martensite,boride(M_(2)B),and carbide(M_(7)C_(3)),accompanied with a large amount of secondary precipitations M_(23)C_(6).Moreover,the morphology and hardness of the carbide and boride in HCCI change little,while the volume fraction of carbide and boride increases from 16.23%to 23.16%.This effectively increases the surface hardness of HCCI from 64.53±0.50 HRC to 66.58±0.50 HRC,with the result that the surface of HCCI possesses a better abrasion resistance compared to the center ***,the wear mechanism of HCCI changes from micro-plowing to micro-cutting with the increase of surface hardness.

With the rapid development of wireless communication technology and electronic devices,the issue of electromagnetic interference(EMI)is becoming increasingly *** a new and flexible electromagnetic interference shielding material has become a challenging ***,a sandwich-structured EMI shielding composite film was prepared using electrospinning and vacuum filtration *** this process,a porous MXene was synthesized through a reaction with cobalt acetate and served as the intermediate layer in the composite film to shield electromagnetic *** electrospun polyimide(PI)fibers were used as the top and bottom layers of the composite film,which can protect the porous MXene from *** lightweight and flexible composite film integrates electromagnetic interference shielding and thermal insulation capabilities,showing excellent comprehensive *** composite film achieves an EMI shielding effectiveness of 48.8 dB in X-band(8.2–12.4 GHz),and absolute shielding effectiveness of the composite film reached a satisfying 4142.43(dB·cm^(2))/*** to the design of a multi-layer porous structure,the density of the composite film is 0.65 g/***,the thermal conductivity of the film is 0.042 W/(m·K)due to the clamping of electrospun PI fibers,showing excellent thermal insulation ***,the composite film exhibits excellent high and low-temperature *** summary,this work provides a feasible strategy for preparing a lightweight polymer-based EMI shielding film.

Due to concerns about carbon leakage and sectoral competitiveness,the European Union(EU)proposed implementing the carbon border adjustment mechanism(CBAM).The effectiveness and potential negative consequences of CBAM have aroused extensive *** the perspective of the economy-wide analysis,this study uses a global computable general equilibrium model to explore the rationality of CBAM from the aspects of socioeconomic impact and the effects of promoting climate ***,the potential alternative mechanism of CBAM is *** results show that CBAM can reduce the EU's gross domestic product(GDP)loss;however,the GDP loss in all other regions ***,CBAM raises household welfare losses in most regions,including the ***,although CBAM can reduce the marginal abatement cost in eight regions,it comes at the cost of greater economic ***,the economic and household welfare cost of raising emissions reduction targets in regions like the USA and Japan is substantially higher than the impact of passively accepting the CBAM;therefore,CBAM's ability to drive ambitious emission reduction initiatives may be ***,for the potential alternative mechanism,from the perspective of reducing economic cost and household welfare losses,the EU could implement domestic tax cuts in the short-term and promote global unified carbon pricing in the long-term.

Mechanical Performance of Bio-inspired Bidirectional Corrugated Sandwich Pressure Shell Under External Hydrostatic Pressure

This paper aims to enhance the compression capacity of underwater cylindrical shells by adopting the corrugated sandwich structure of *** cuttlebone suffers uniaxial external compression,while underwater cylindrical shells are in a biaxial compressive stress *** suit the biaxial compressive stress state,a novel bidirectional corrugated sandwich structure is proposed to improve the bearing capacity of cylindrical *** static and buckling analysis for the sandwich shell and the unstiffened cylindrical shell with the same volume-weight ratio are studied by numerical *** is indicated that the proposed sandwich shell can effectively reduce the ratio between circumferential and axial stress from 2 to 1.25 and improve the critical buckling load by about 1.63 *** simulation shows that optimizing and adjusting the structural parameters could significantly improve the advantage of the sandwich ***,the hydrostatic pressure tests for shell models fabricated by 3D printing are carried *** to the experimental results,the overall failure position of the sandwich shell is at the center part of the sandwich *** has been found the average critical load of the proposed sandwich shell models exceeds two times that of the unstiffened shell ***,the proposed bio-inspired bidirectional corrugated sandwich structure can significantly enhance the pressure resistance capability of cylindrical shells.

Natural mechanical materials,such as bamboo and bone,often exhibit superior specific mechanical properties due to their hierarchical porous *** the principle of hierarchy as inspiration can facilitate the development of hierarchical mechanical metamaterials(HMMs)across multiple length scales via 3D *** this work,we propose self-similar HMMs that combine octet-truss(OCT)architecture as the first and second orders,with cubic architecture as the third or more *** HMMs were fabricated using stereolithography 3D printing,with the length sizes ranging from approximately 200µm to the centimeter *** compressive stress–strain behaviors of HMMs exhibit a zigzag characteristic,and the toughness and energy absorption can be significantly enhanced by the hierarchical *** compressive moduli are comparable to that of natural materials,and the strengths are superior to that of most polymer/metal foams,alumina hollow/carbon lattices,and other natural ***,the flexural stress–strain curves exhibit a nonlinear behavior,which can be attributed to the hierarchical architecture and local damage *** relatively high mechanical properties can be attributed to the synergistic effect of the stretch-dominated OCT architecture and the bending-dominated cube ***,an ultralight HMM-integrated unmanned aerial vehicle(HMM-UAV)was successfully designed and *** HMM-UAV is~85%lighter than its bulk counterpart,remarkably extending the flight duration time(~53%).This work not only provides an effective design strategy for HMMs but also further expands the application benchmark of HMMs.
