Predicting impacts of climate change on the biogeographic patterns of representative species richness in Prydz Bay-Amery Ice Shelf

The research on the biological ecology of the Prydz Bay-Amery Ice Shelf in East Antarctica is inadequate under the increasing threat from climate change,especially for Antarctic fish and *** Dynamic Bioclimatic Envelope Model(DBEM)has been widely used in predicting the variation of species distribution and abundance in ocean and land under climate change;it can quantify the spatiotemporal changes of multi population under different climate emission scenarios by identifying the environmental preferences of *** species richness and geographical pattern of six Antarctic representative species around Prydz Bay-Amery ice shelf were studied under RCP 8.5 and RCP 2.6 emission scenarios from 1970 to 2060 using Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory(GFDL),Institut Pierre Simon Laplace(IPSL),and Max Planck Institute(MPI)earth system *** results showed that the species richness decreased as a whole,and the latitude gradient moved to the *** reason is that ocean warming,sea ice melting,and human activities accelerate the distribution changes of species biogeographical pattern,and the habitat range of krill,silverfish,and other organisms is gradually limited,which further leads to the change of species composition and the decrease of *** is obvious that priority should be given to Prydz Bay-Amery ice shelf in the planning of Marine Protected Areas(MPAs)in East Antarctica.

Traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） has been gradually accepted by the world. Despite its widespread use in clinical settings, a major challenge in TCM is to study it scientifically. This difficulty arises from the fact that TCM views human body as a complex dynamical system, and focuses on the balance of the human body, both internally and with its external environment. As a result, conventional tools that are based on reductionist approach arc not adequate. Methods that can quantify the dynamics of complex integrative systems may bring new insights and utilities about the clinical practice and evaluation of efficacy of TCM. The dynamical complexity theory recently proposed and its computational algorithm, Multiscale Entropy （MSE） analysis, are consistent with TCM concepts. This new system level analysis has been successfully applied to many health and disease related topics in medicine. We believe that there could be many promising applications of this dynamical complexity concept in TCM. In this article, we propose some promising applications and research areas that TCM practitioners and researchers can pursue.

A Compact Difference Scheme on Graded Meshes for the Nonlinear Fractional Integro-differential Equation with Non-smooth Solutions

In this paper,a compact finite difference scheme for the nonlinear fractional integro-differential equation with weak singularity at the initial time is developed,with O(N^(-(2-α))+M^(-4))accuracy order,where N;M denote the numbers of grids in temporal and spatial direction,α ∈(0,1)is the fractional *** recover the full accuracy based on the regularity requirement of the solution,we adopt the L1 method and the trapezoidal product integration(PI)rule with graded meshes to discretize the Caputo derivative and the Riemann-Liouville integral,respectively,further handle the nonlinear term carefully by the Newton linearized *** on the discrete fractional Gr¨onwall inequality and preserved discrete coefficients of Riemann-Liouville fractional integral,the stability and convergence of the proposed scheme are analyzed by the energy *** results are also confirmed by a numerical example.

If the multiplications satisfy that [,,]q = [,,]＇q and [,,]q is skew-symmetry, then （A, [,,]q, Jq） is called a type （I）-q-3- Lie algebra. From q-Lie algebras, group algebras and commutative associative algebras, q-3-Lie algebras and type （I）-q-3-Lie algebras are constructed. Influence of metallurgical processing parameters on defects in cold-rolled steel sheet caused by inclusions

The cleanliness and defects for cold-rolled steel sheet caused by inclusions are greatly influenced by parameters in the metallurgical processing. Good control of parameters during the processing can lead to a better product. In this paper, data mining was used to explore the influence of parameters on defects in steel sheets. A decision tree model was established and it was found that the oxygen content before deoxidation, the end-point temperature of the converter, and the temperature before deoxidation had a great impact on the defects in the cold-rolled sheet that were caused by inclusions. This finding was confirmed by experiments with infrared absorption, scanning electron microscopy(SEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS), and automatic inclusion analysis methods. After optimization according to results from the model and experiments, the defect rate caused by the inclusions was reduced from 0.92% to 0.38%.

A versatile nano-TiO_(2) decorated gel separator with derived multi-scale nanofibers towards dendrite-blocking and polysulfide-inhibiting lithium-metal batteries

In this study,a versatile fluorine-bearing gel membrane with multi-scale nanofibers was rationally designed and synthesized via facile one-step blend electrospinning of nano-titanium dioxide(TiO_(2))particles and fluorinated poly-m-phenyleneisophthalamide(PMIA)polymer *** prepared multiscale TiO_(2)-assisted gel separator presented relatively high porosity,small aperture,giving rise to superior affinity to electrolyte and sufficient active sites to accelerate lithium ions ***,the asfabricated multifunctional GPE also rendered outstanding heat-resistance and well-distributed lithiumions flux,and the mutual overlaps between the coarse fibers and the fine fibers within the multi-scale nanofiber membrane provided a strong skeleton support,which in turn laid a solid footing stone for high-security and dendrite-proof ***,the nano-TiO_(2) particles within PMIA membrane acted as"gatekeepers",which can not only resist the growth of lithium dendrites,but also intercept the dissolved polysulfide on cathode *** on these merits,the gel PMIA-based lithium cobalt(LCO)/lithium battery obtained the remarkably improved rate capability and cycle performances on account of superior ionic conductivity,steady anodic stability window and weakened polarization ***,the resultant lithium-sulfur cell also delivered the outstanding cycling stability with the aid of the greatly prevented"shuttle effect"of dissolved lithium polysulfides based on the physical trapping and chemical binding of the prepared GPE to polysulfides *** work proved that the addition of functional inorganic nanoparticles similar with TiO_(2) in multi-scale gel PMIA membrane can enhance the lithium ions transport capability,resist the growth of lithium dendrites as well as inhibit the shuttle effect of polysulfides,which would prompt a great development for dendrite-blocking and polysulfideinhibiting lithium-metal cells.
