Immobilizing chiral 1,1＇-bi-2-naphthol （BINOL） in one step onto polymer backbone via stable carbon-carbon bond through Suzuki reaction was achieved. The application of this immobilized chiral BINOL to the catalytic asymmetric oxidation of sulfide to sulfoxide exhibited good activity （up to 60% yield） and high enantioselectivity （up to 89% ee）. The immobilized chiral catalyst was very stable and could be readily reused for over 5 times without significant loss of catalytic activity and enantioselectivity.

Climate change alters snowpack evolution,which in turn influences the likelihood of snow avalanches and flood *** lack of systemic observational data on key snow characteristics in high mountains remains a scientific challenge in terms of systematically elucidating the dynamic chain of variations in climate-snowpack-snow *** restricts our understanding and poses challenges in the prediction of snow-related disaster *** such,this study analysed the variations of temperature and snowfall and the physical characteristics of snowpacks based on ground-based observations from the Kunse River Valley situated in the Tianshan Mountains from 1967 to *** results reveal that the temperature increased significantly by 0.32°C per decade(plier ***,average and maximum snow depths increased along with an increase in peak snow water equivalent,thus indicating a higher frequency of extremely scarce or abundant snow *** low snowpack temperature gradient and earlier snowmelt dates in spring lead to earlier occurrences of snowmelt floods and wet *** the risks of these events increase,they pose greater threats to farmlands,road transportation,water-electricity infrastructure and several other human ***,these insights are critical for providing vital information that can deepen our understanding of the impact of climate change on snowpack characteristics and improve management strategies for snow-related disaster prevention and mitigation.

A risk prediction score model for predicting occurrence of post-PCI vasovagal reflex syndrome： a single center study in Chinese population

Background The vasovagal reflex syndrome （VVRS） is common in the patiems undergoing percutaneous coronary intervemion （PCI） However, prediction and prevention of the risk for the VVRS have not been completely fulfilled. This study was conducted to develop a Risk Prediction Score Model to identify the determinants of VVRS in a large Chinese population cohort receiving PCI. Methods From the hos- pital electronic medical database, we idemified 3550 patients who received PCI （78.0% males, mean age 60 years） in Chinese PLA General Hospital from January 1, 2000 to August 30, 2016. The multivariate analysis and receiver operating characteristic 01OC） analysis were performed. Results The adverse events of VVRS in the patients were significantly increased after PCI procedure than before the operation （all P 〈 0.001）. The rate of VVRS [95% confidence interval （CI）] in patients receiving PCI was 4.5% （4.1%-5.6%）. Compared to the patients suffering no VVRS, incidence of VVRS involved the following factors, namely female gender, primary PCI, hypertension, over two stems im- plantation in the left anterior descending （LAD）, and the femoral puncture site. The multivariate analysis suggested that they were independ- ent risk factors for predicting the incidence of VVRS （all P 〈 0.001）. We developed a risk prediction score model for VVRS. ROC analysis showed that the risk prediction score model was effectively predictive of the incidence of VVRS in patients receiving PCI （c-statistic 0.76, 95% CI： 0.72-0.79, P 〈 0.001）. There were decreased evems of VVRS in the patients receiving PCI whose diastolic blood pressure dropped by more than 30 mmHg and heart rate reduced by 10 times per minute （AUC： 0.84, 95% CI： 0.81-0.87, P 〈 0.001）. Conclusion The risk prediction score is quite efficient in predicting the incidence of VVRS in patients receiving PCI. In which, the following factors may be in- volved, the femoral puncture site, female gender, hypertension, primary PCI, and over 2 stents

AIM： To demonstrate the change and effect of nodceptin/orphanin FQ in the colon of rats with cathartic colon. METHODS： The cathartic colon model was established by feeding rats rhubarb for 3 mo, the changes of colonic electromyography were investigated by both suspension muscle strips test and serosal recordings of colonic myoelectrical activity. Immunohistochemical staining （S-P methods） and image analysis were used to determine the changes of nociceptin/orphanin FQ in the proximal colon and distal colon of rats with cathartic colon. RESULTS： Suspension muscle strips test in vitro showed OFQ （10^-9-10^-6 mol/L） concentration dependently caused an immediate tonic contraction in the isolated colon. But the increase of tension in cathartic colon was less than control groups （P〈0.01）. Intravenous administration of OFQ （1 μg/kg） caused phasic contractions in the proximal colon, while the amplitude of phasic contractions caused by OFQ in cathartic colon was much lower than that in the control groups （2.58±0.41 vs 4.16 ± 0.53, t = -2.6, P = 0.012）. OFQ was highly expressed in the myenteric plexus of the rat colon but not in the musde cells. The immunoreactivity of OFQ in the proximal colon in cathartic colon rats decreased significantly compared with the control group （P = 0.001）. CONCLUSION： Colonic smooth muscle of cathartic colon showed low sensitivity to the stimulation of OFQ, suggesting that it might be caused by the abnormal distribution of OFQ or the abnormalities of receptors, leading to the disorganization of dynamic and incoordinated contractions.

A cold method was used to prepare coated sand for application in the selective laser sintering(SLS)*** strength,loss on ignition,gas evolution,and accuracy of the SLS samples were tested and analyzed,and the baking process was thoroughly *** with coated sand prepared by the hot method,the cold method yields a more uniform and complete resin film on the sand's surface,resulting in enhanced tensile strength and ***,the cold method requires a lower binder content to meet the same strength requirements,thereby minimizing gas evolution,reducing porosity defects,and ultimately improving casting *** coated sand samples prepared through the cold method exhibit superior accuracy,with a size error of within±0.4 *** contrast,the coated sand samples prepared by the hot method display a lower accuracy,with an average negative error of 2.1993 *** highest tensile strength could be attained by controlling the baking temperature within a suitable range(180-190°C),which can effectively reduce the generation of gas,thus contributing to improved overall performance.

The diversity and cold adaptation of endophytic fungi associated with five dominant plant species collected from the Baima Snow Mountain(altitude 4,000–4,300 m),Southwest China,were investigated.A total of 604 culturable endophytic fungi were isolated from 800 stems and leaf *** colonization rate of endophytic fungi in the five plant species ranged from 54%to 91%,and the colonization rate of endophytic fungi in the stems was significantly higher(87%)than that in the leaves(67%)(X∼2045.172,Plium and Aspergillus were the dominant genera,and their relative frequencies were 14.06%,12.58%,9.44%and 7.95%,*** Shannon-Weiner diversity indices and the Sorenson’s coefficient similarity indices of the endophytic fungi from the five plant species ranged from 1.25 to 2.70 and 0.53 to 0.67,*** temperature tests indicated that 75%of the isolates from the Baima Snow Mountain were psychrotrophs and 14%were the transitional type between psychrotrophs and mesophiles,whereas all of the isolates from the Yuanjiang Dry-hot Valley were mesophiles,which suggested that the endophytes from the Baima Snow Mountain possess a remarkable ability to adapt to cold environments.
