Ferroptosis, a unique type of non-apoptotic cell death resulting from iron-dependent lipid peroxidation, has a potential physiological function in tumor suppression, but its underlying mechanisms have not been fully elucidated. Here, we report that the long non-coding RNA(lncRNA) LncFASA increases the susceptibility of triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC) to ferroptosis. As a tumor suppressor, LncFASA drives the formation of droplets containing peroxiredoxin1(PRDX1), a member of the peroxidase family, resulting in the accumulation of lipid peroxidation via the SLC7A11-GPX4 axis. Mechanistically, LncFASA directly binds to the Ahpc-TSA domain of PRDX1, inhibiting its peroxidase activity by driving liquid-liquid phase separation, which disrupts intracellular ROS homeostasis. Notably, high LncFASA expression indicates favorable overall survival in individuals with breast cancer, and LncFASA impairs the growth of breast xenograft tumors by modulating ferroptosis. Together, our findings illustrate the crucial role of this lncRNA in ferroptosis-mediated cancer development and provide new insights into therapeutic strategies for breast cancer.

空域和频域特征解耦的红外与可见光图像融合

现有的红外与可见光图像融合算法大都在空间域上进行卷积操作,实现特征提取、特征融合、图像重建。受限于卷积神经网络的局部建模特性,此类方法未能考虑图像的全局上下文信息,从而限制了融合算法的鲁棒性。针对上述问题,受到图像在频域上服从谱卷积定理的全局建模属性的启发,提出了一种基于空域和频域特征解耦的红外与可见光图像融合算法,分别解耦出源图像在空间域和频域中的高低频信息表征,并进行互补交互融合,以提高融合算法的鲁棒性。提出的方法主要由频域解耦分支、空间域解耦分支以及多频谱卷积注意力融合模块三部分构成。首先,频域解耦分支利用频率掩膜解耦出源图像在傅里叶域中的高低频信息表征,得到源图像的全局上下文信息。然后,空间域解耦分支包括两个并行的可逆神经网络模块和轻量级Transformer模块,分别用于解耦出源图像在空间域中的高低频信息表征,得到源图像的局部上下文信息。最后,提出一种多频谱卷积注意力融合模块,实现高低频表征信息的互补交互融合,促使融合图像保留更多的红外显著信息和可见光纹理细节信息。在MSRS、TNO、RoadScene三个数据集上的定性和定量实验表明提出的方法取得了优异的性能。相比2023年提出的DATFusion融合方法,在信息熵、平均梯度、VIF等多个客观评价指标上分别提升13.3%、46.6%、10.3%。

The metallic plasmonic array that can support both propagating surface plasmon polaritons(PSPPs)and localized surface plasmon resonance(LSPR)possesses rich optical properties and remarkable optical performance,making it a powerful platform for applications in photonics,chemistry,and *** practical applications,the excitation spot is usually smaller than the area of metal *** is thus imperative to address“how many array units are enough?”towards a rational design of plasmonic ***,we employed focused ion beam(FIB)to precisely fabricate a series of plasmonic array structures with increased unit *** utilizing photoluminescence(PL)and surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy(SERS),we found that the array units outside the excitation spot still have a significant impact on the optical response within the *** with the numerical simulation,we found that the boundary of the finite array leads to the loss of PSPP outside the excitation point,which subsequently affects the coupling of PSPP and LSPR in the excitation spot,leading to variations in PL and SERS *** on the findings,we further tuned the LSPR mode of the metal arrays by electrodeposition to obtain strong near-field enhancement without any influence on the PSPP *** work advances the understanding of near-field and far-field optical behavior in finite-size array structures and provides guidance for designing highly-efficient photonic devices.

High-temperature thin-film sensors(TFSs)often suffer from inadequate tolerance to elevated *** this study,an innovative approach is presented to fabricate in situ integrated TFSs with a core-shell structure on alloy components using coaxial multi-ink printing *** method replaces traditional layerby-layer(LbL) deposition and LbL sintering processes and achieves simplified one-step *** coaxial TFS includes a conductive Pt core for conducting and sensing and a dielectric shell for electrical isolation and high-temperature *** coaxial Pt resistance grid demonstrates excellent high-temperature stability,with a resistance drift rate of only 0.08%·h^(-1) at 800 ℃,significantly lower than traditional Pt *** employing this method,a Pt thin-film strain gauge(TFSG) is fabricated that boasts remarkable high-temperature electromechanical *** effectively addresses the problem of sensitivity degradation experienced by traditional LbL Pt TFSGs when subjected to high *** demonstrate the system integration potential of the technique by printing and verifying the functionality of a long-path thinfilm resistance grid on turbine blades,which can withstand butane flame up to ~1300℃.These results showcase the potential of core-shell structure of the coaxial TFS for high-temperature applications,providing a novel approach to develop high-performance TFS beyond traditional multilayer structure.

During the 10th Chinese Arctic scientific expedition carried out in the summer of 2019,the surface current in the high-latitude areas of the Arctic Ocean was observed using a self-developed surface drifting buoy,which was initially deployed in the Chukchi *** buoy traversed the Chukchi Sea,Chukchi Abyssal Plain,Mendeleev Ridge,Makarov Basin,and Canada Basin over a period of 632 *** returning to the Mendeleev Ridge,it continued to drift toward the ***,the track of the buoy reflected the characteristics of the transpolar drift and Chukchi Slope Current,as well as the inertial flow,cross-ridge surface flow,and even the surface disorganized flow for some time *** results showed that:(1)the transpolar drift mainly occurs in the Chukchi Abyssal Plain,Mendeleev Ridge,and western Canada Basin to the east of the ridge where sea ice concentration is high,and the average northward flow velocity in the region between 79.41°N and 86.32°N was 5.1 cm/s;(2)the average surface velocity of the Chukchi Slope Current was 13.5 cm/s,and while this current moves westward along the continental slope,it also extends northwestward across the continental slope and flows to the deep sea;and(3)when sea ice concentration was less than 50%,the inertial flow was more significant(the maximum observed inertial flow was 26 cm/s,and the radius of the inertia circle was 3.6 km).

BACKGROUND Triglyceride-glucose(TyG)index values are a new surrogate marker for insulin *** study aimed to explore the relationship between cumulative TyG index values and atrial fibrillation(AF)recurrence after radiofrequency catheter ablation(RFCA).METHODS A total of 576 patients with AF who underwent RFCA at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University were included in this *** participants were grouped based on cumulative TyG index values tertiles within 3 months after *** regression and restricted cubic spline analyses were used to determine the relationship between cumulative TyG index values and AF *** predictive value of all risk factors was assessed by receiver operating curve *** There were 375 patients completed the study(age:63.23±10.73 years,64.27%male).The risk of AF recurrence increased with increasing cumulative TyG index values *** adjusting for potential confounders,patients in the medium cumulative TyG index group[hazard ratio(HR)=4.949,95%CI:1.778–13.778,P=0.002]and the high cumulative TyG index group(HR=8.716,95%CI:3.371–22.536,Pdiameter,and lactate dehydrogenase levels as a comprehensive factor,the model could effectively predict AF recurrence after RFCA[area under the curve(AUC)=0.847,95%CI:0.797–0.897,Pdinal TyG index values may assist with optimized for risk stratification and outcome prediction for AF recurrence.
