BACKGROUND Diabetic foot ulcers(DFUs)are a common complication of diabetes,often leading to severe infections,amputations,and reduced quality of *** current standard treatment protocols for DFUs have limitations in promoting efficient wound healing and preventing complications.A comprehensive treatment approach targeting multiple aspects of wound care may offer improved outcomes for patients with *** hypothesis of this study is that a comprehensive treatment protocol for DFUs will result in faster wound healing,reduced amputation rates,and improved overall patient outcomes compared to standard treatment *** To compare the efficacy and safety of a comprehensive treatment protocol for DFUs with those of the standard treatment *** This retrospective study included 62 patients with DFUs,enrolled between January 2022 and January 2024,randomly assigned to the experimental(n=32)or control(n=30)*** experimental group received a comprehensive treatment comprising blood circulation improvement,debridement,vacuum sealing drainage,recombinant human epidermal growth factor and anti-inflammatory dressing,and skin *** control group received standard treatment,which included wound cleaning and dressing,antibiotics administration,and surgical debridement or amputation,if *** taken to reduce the white blood cell count,number of dressing changes,wound healing rate and time,and amputation rate were *** The experimental group exhibited significantly better outcomes than those of the control group in terms of the wound healing rate,wound healing time,and amputation ***,the comprehensive treatment protocol was safe and well tolerated by the *** Comprehensive treatment for DFUs is more effective than standard treatment,promoting granulation tissue growth,shortening hospitalization time,reducing pain and amputation rate,improving wound healing,and enhancing quality of life.

Dynamic recrystallization(DRX)is of great significance for the thermomechanical processing and microstructural regulation of TiAl ***,the underlying DRX mechanism remains poorly *** this study,an Avrami kinetics model for DRX was established,which was capable of predicting the DRX fraction *** addition,the effect of Al_(2)O_(3)short fiber on the DRX mechanisms of TiAl matrix composite during the isothermal compression was investigated for the first *** re-sults showed that other than inhibiting DRX by particles in the TiAl matrix composites,the addition of Al_(2)O_(3)short fiber accelerated a novel DRX process,which was induced by twinning and twin intersec-tions(TDRX).Thus,this composite exhibited a higher DRX rate than that of the as-cast TiAl monolithic *** origin of the twin intersection and TDRX for the composite was *** stress concentration near the Al_(2)O_(3)fiber was above the critical shear stress for twinning and thus was favorable for the formation of twinning and twin *** high stored strain energy at the regions of twins and twin intersections provided the driving force for *** accelerated the grain refinement in the TiAl matrix near the Al_(2)O_(3)*** present findings would provide a new perspective on DRX mechanisms,and provide the scientific guidance for optimizing the microstructures of TiAl matrix composites.

Formaldehyde(HCHO)is considered one of the most abundant gas-phase carbonyl compounds in the atmosphere,which can be directly emitted through transportation ***-Path Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy(LP-DOAS)was used to observe HCHO in the river channel of Wusong Wharf in Shanghai,China for the whole year of *** to the impact of ship activity,the annual average HCHO level in the channel is about2.5 times higher than that in the nearby campus *** explain the sources of HCHO under different meteorological conditions,the tracer-pair of CO and O_(x)(NO_(2)+O_(3))was used on the clustered air *** results of the source appointment show that primary,secondary and background account for 24.14%(3.34±1.19 ppbv),44.78%(6.20±2.04ppbv)and 31.09%(4.31±2.33 ppbv)of the HCHO in the channel when the air masses were from the mixed direction of the city and channel,*** performing background station subtraction at times of high primary HCHO values and resolving the plume peaks,directly emitted HCHO/NO_(2)in the channel environment and plume were determined to be mainly distributed between 0.2 and *** cargo ships with higher sailing speeds or main engine powers tend to have higher HCHO/NO_(2)*** the knowledge of NO_(2)(or NO_(x))emission levels from ships,this study may provide data support for the establishment of HCHO emission factors.

Cobalt selenide(CoSe_(2))has garnered considerable attention as a prospective anode candidate for advanced lithium-ion storage,prompting comprehensive ***,CoSe_(2)-based anodes usually suffer from significant volume variation upon lithiation leading to unsatisfactory cycling ***,a versatile synthesis route is proposed for the in-situ fabrication of CoSe2nanoparticles embedded in N-dope carbon skeleton(CoSe_(2)@NC)through annealing treatment and selenization of a metal–organic framework-derived(MOF)*** N-doped carbon derived from the MOF serves not only as an excellent conductive substrate but also as a confined reactor,effectively inhibiting the structural instability and alleviating the inevitable volume change of CoSe_(2).Owing to their unique nanostructure,the as-prepared CoSe_(2)@NC exhibits a high capacity of 745.9mAh·g^(-1)at 0.1 A·g^(-1),while maintaining excellent rate capability and an impressive ***,the assembled lithium-ion capacitor(LIC)based on CoSe_(2)@NC demonstrates an energy density of 130Wh·kg^(-1),a power density of 24.6 kW·kg^(-1),and remarkable capacity retention of 90.8%after 8000 *** results highlight the great potential of CoSe_(2)@NC for practical applications.

Next generation power system needs dielectrics with increased dielectric energy ***,the low energy density of dielectrics limits their ***,an asymmetric trilayered nanocomposite,with a transition layer(TL),an insulation layer(IL),and a polarization layer(PL),is designed based on poly(vinylidene fluoride)-polymethyl methacrylate(PVDF-PMMA)matrix using KNbO_(3)(KN)and TiO_(2)(TO)as the *** morphology and defect control of the two-dimensional nano KN and nano TO fillers are realized via a hydrothermal method to increase the composite breakdown strength(E_(b))and the composite energy density(U_(e)).The asymmetric trilayered structure leads to a gradient electric field distribution,and the KN and TO nanosheets block charges transfer along z *** a result,the development path of the electrical trees is greatly curved,and E_(b) is effectively *** the Ue value of the nanocomposites reaches 17.79 J·cm^(-3) at 523 MV·m^(-1).On the basis,the composite Ue is further improved by defect control in TO *** nanocomposite KN/TO/PVDF-PMMA containing TO with less oxygen vacancy concentration(calcined at oxygen atmosphere)acquires a high Ue of 21.61 J·cm^(-3) at 548 MV·m^(-1).This study provides an idea for improving the energy storage performance by combining the design of the composite dielectric structure and the control of nanofillers’defect and morphology.

Objective It is well known that a dual trigger treatment can improve clinical outcomes of in vitro fertilization(IVF)in high or normal ovarian ***,it is not clear whether dual triggering also benefits patients with diminished ovarian reserve(DOR).The aim of this study was to investigate whether a dual trigger treatment of gonadotropin-releasing hormone(GnRH)agonist combined with human chorionic gonadotropin(hCG)for final follicular maturation improves the cumulative live birth rate(CLBR)during the GnRH-antagonist cycle in patients with *** This retrospective study included patients with DOR who received a GnRH-antagonist protocol during IVF and intracytoplasmic sperm injection(IVF-ICSI)cycles at Peking University People’s Hospital from January 1,2017 through December 31,*** maturation was triggered by GnRH combined with hCG(n=110)or hCG alone(n=71).Embryos were transferred on the third day after oocyte retrieval or during a subsequent freeze-thaw *** were followed up for 3 *** The dual trigger treatment did not affect CLBR,which is an overall determinant of the success rate of assisted reproductive technology(ART).Women in the dual trigger group had significantly higher rates of fertilization than those in the hCG group(90.1%vs.83.9%,P=0.040).Conclusion Dual trigger with GnRH agonist and hCG did not improve CLBR in patients with DOR,but did slightly improve fertilization rate,oocyte count,and embryo quality.
