Endoscopic detection and diagnostic strategies for minute gastric cancer:A real-world observational study

BACKGROUND Minute gastric cancers(MGCs)have a favorable prognosis,but they are too small to be detected by endoscopy,with a maximum diameter≤5 *** To explore endoscopic detection and diagnostic strategies for *** This was a real-world observational *** endoscopic and clinicopathological parameters of 191 MGCs between January 2015 and December 2022 were retrospectively *** discoverable opportunity and typical neoplastic features were emphatically *** All MGCs in our study were of a single pathological type,97.38%(186/191)of which were differentiated-type *** light endoscopy(WLE)detected 84.29%(161/191)of MGCs,and the most common morphology of MGCs found by WLE was ***-band imaging(NBI)secondary observation detected 14.14%(27/191)of MGCs,and the most common morphology of MGCs found by NBI was *** three MGCs were detected by indigo carmine third *** a well-demarcated border lesion exhibited a typical neoplastic color,such as yellowish-red or whitish under WLE and brownish under NBI,MGCs should be *** proportion with high diagnostic confidence by magnifying endoscopy with NBI(ME-NBI)was significantly higher than the proportion with low diagnostic confidence and the only visible groups(94.19%>56.92%>32.50%,P<0.001).CONCLUSION WLE combined with NBI and indigo carmine are helpful for detection of MGCs.A clear demarcation line combined with a typical neoplastic color using nonmagnifying observation is sufficient for diagnosis of *** improves the endoscopic diagnostic confidence of MGCs.

Fast and accurate determination of phase transition temperature via individual generalized canonical ensemble simulation

It is very important to determine the phase transition temperature,such as the water/ice coexistence temperature in various water models,via molecular *** show that a single individual direct simulation is sufficient to get the temperature with high accuracy and small computational cost based on the generalized canonical ensemble(GCE).Lennard–Jones fluids,the atomic water models,such as TIP4P/2005,TIP4P/ICE,and the mW water models are applied to illustrate the *** start from the coexistent system of the two phases with a plane interface,then equilibrate the system under the GCE,which can stabilize the coexistence of the phases,to directly derive the phase transition temperature without sensitive dependence on the applied parameters of the GCE and the size of the simulation *** obtained result is in excellent agreement with that in *** features make the GCE approach in determining the phase transition temperature of systems be robust,easy to use,and particularly good at working on computationally expensive systems.

What Moved into the Lung?An Unusual Case of Foreign Body Migration

FOREIGN body migration into the lung is a rare complication that can cause various symptoms. In adults, however, foreign body deposited in the luna can be tolerated and remain undetected fora long time. Delayed diagnosis and subsequent delayed treatment is usually associated with atypical complications. In this article, we describe a case of foreign body migration into the tracheobronchial tree. After a long time delay diagnosis, the foreign body was ultimately removed by operation.

Stabilities and Dynamics of Protein Folding Nuclei by Molecular Dynamics Simulation

To understand how the stabilities of key nuclei fragments affect protein folding dynamics, we simulate by molecular dynamics （MD） simulation in aqueous solution four fragments cut out of a protein G, including one a-helix （seqB： KVFKQyan）, two -turns （seqA： LNGKTLKG and seqC： YDDATKTF）, and one -strand （seqD： DGEWTYDD）. The Markov State Model clustering method combined with the coarse-grained conformation letters method are employed to analyze the data sampled from 2-#s equilibrium MD simulation trajectories. We find that seqA and seqB have more stable structures than their native structures which become metastable when cut out of the protein structure. As expected, seqD alone is flexible and does not have a stable structure. Throughout our simulations, the native structure of seqC is stable but cannot be reached if starting from a structure other than the native one, implying a funnel-shape free energy landscape of seqC in aqueous solution. All the above results suggest that different nuclei have different formation dynamics during protein folding, which may have a major contribution to the hierarchy of protein folding dynamics.

The effects of deformation parameters and cooling rates on the aging behavior of AZ80+0.4%Ce

The extruded AZ80+0.4%Ce magnesium alloy was twisted in the temperature range of 300-380℃by using a Gleeble 3500 thermal simulation test machine with a torsion *** deformed cylindrical specimens were cooled at a cooling rate of 10℃/s or 0.1℃/s,respectively,and aged at 170℃.The microstructure analysis results showed that the grain size decreased with increasing specimen radial position from center(SRPC),and that the strong initial basal texture of the extruded magnesium alloy was *** continuous and discontinuous dynamic recrystallization mechanisms were involved in contributing to the grain refinement for all specimens *** a novel extension twinning induced dynamic recrystallization mechanism was proposed for specimen deformed at 300℃.For the specimens deformed at 300℃and 340℃followed by a slow cooling rate(0.1℃/s),precipitates of various shapes(β-Mg_(17)Al_(12)),with the dominant precipitates being on the grains boundaries,appeared on the surface *** specimen deformed at 380℃,lamellar precipitates(LPS)in the interiors of the grains were *** aging,the LPS still dominated for specimens twisted at 380℃;however,the LPS gradually decreased with decreasing deformation temperatures from 380℃to 300℃.Dynamically precipitatedβ,especially those decorating the grain boundaries,changed the competition pictures for the LPS and precipitates of other shapes after ***,LPS dominated the areas for the center section of the specimens after aging regardless of deformation *** temperature deformation with high SRPC followed by rapid cooling rate increased the micro hardness of the alloy after aging due to refined grain,reduced precipitates size,decreased lamellar spacing as well as strain hardening.
