Resin composition: An indicator of oil maturity as revealed by fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry

A pyrolysis experiment was carried out on a Dongying Depression kerogen sample to separate the resin from the oil. Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry (FT-ICR MS) with a positive-ion detector was used to detect the relative proportional changes in the compounds of the resin. During the whole pyrolysis experiment, the relative ratio of resin exceed 10% of the soluble component at each temperature point. Five compounds were detected from the resin: N1, N1O1, N1O_(2), O1, and O_(2). To research the changes in the proportions of the compounds during pyrolysis clearly, these five compounds were divided into three classes: N1, N1Ox, and Ox. The N1 class has the largest proportion in resin at the beginning of the pyrolysis, while Ox class has the least proportion. And the relationship between the number and the molecular mass of three classes compound was researched. With increasing maturity, the proportion of N1 and the N1Ox class decreased rapidly, while the Ox class increased slowly. Through researching these resin compounds, it was found that an inversion in the proportions of above three compounds appeared at the end of the oil window. At the same time, we found that the DBE and carbon number of resin compounds have changed obviously during the pyrolysis: the DBE increased, while the carbon number decreased significantly. And the details of the change of each compound have been researched. This research extends our knowledge of judging the maturity of crude oil during the pyrolysis through the characteristics of compounds in resin and provides the new index based on resin for the evaluation of thermal evolution stage and hydrocarbon generation capacity of source rocks.

Origin and genetic family of Huhehu oil in the Hailar Basin, northeast China

The Huhehu Sag is one of the most important oil and gas depressions in the Hailar Basin. However, the origin of Huhehu oil is still controversial. Previous studies on source rocks have mainly focused on the Nantun Formation(K1 n); a few studies have investigated the Damoguaihe Formation(K1 d). Based on the Rock–Eval pyrolysis parameters, 172 drill cutting samples from the Huhehu Sag were analyzed to evaluate their geochemical characteristics. Based on the Rock–Eval data, the mudstones from the first member of the Damoguaihe Formation(K1 d1) and the second member of the Nantun Formation(K1 n2) have moderate to high hydrocarbon generation potential, while mudstones from the first member of the Nantun Formation(K1 n1) have poor to good hydrocarbon generation potential.Additionally, both the K1 n1 and K1 n2 coal members have poor to fair hydrocarbon generation potential, but the K1 n2 coal member has a better generative potential. Fifteen Huhehu oils were collected for molecular geochemical analyses to classify the oils into genetic families and to identify the source rock for each oil using chemometric methods. The Huhehu oils were classified into three groups with different maturity levels using hierarchical cluster analysis and principal component analysis. Group A oils(high maturity) are characterized by relatively moderate ratios of Pr/Ph, Pr/n-C17, and Ph/n-C18, as well as an abundance of C29 steranes, mainly derived from the K1 n2 and K1 n1 mudstone members. In comparison, group B oils(moderate maturity) have relatively low Pr/Ph ratios,moderate Pr/n-C17 and Ph/n-C18 ratios, and low concentrations of C29 steranes. Group C oils(low maturity) show relatively high ratios of Pr/Ph, Pr/n-C17, and Ph/n-C18, as well as high concentrations of C29 steranes. Design of Robust Var Reserve Contract for Enhancing Reactive Power Ancillary Service Market Efficiency

In a deregulated Var market, market power issue is more serious than in an energy market since reactive power cannot be transmitted over long distances. This letter designs a multi-timescale Var market framework, where market power that may arise in the hourly-ahead Var support service market due to system configuration deficiency and market structure flaws can be eliminated by day-ahead contract-based Var reserve service market. Settlement of day-ahead Var reserve contract is formulated as a two-stage robust optimization (TSRO) model considering worst case of uncertainty realization and potential market power that may arise in hourly-ahead market. TSRO with integer recourses is then solved by a new column and constraint generation algorithm. Results show a robust Var reserve contract can fully eliminate market power, and prevent suppliers from manipulating market prices.

In-situ coupling construction of interface bridge to enhance electrochemical stability of all solid-state lithium metal batteries

Polymer-based composite electrolytes composed of three-dimensional Li_(6.4)La_(3)Zr_(2)Al_(0.2)O_(12)(3D-LLZAO)have attracted increasing attention due to their continuous ion conduction and satisfactory mechanical properties.However,the organic/inorganic interface is incompatible,resulting in slow lithium-ion transport at the interface.Therefore,the compatibility of organic/inorganic interface is an urgent problem to be solved.Inspired by the concept of“gecko eaves”,polymer-based composite solid electrolytes with dense interface structures were designed.The bridging of organic/inorganic interfaces was established by introducing silane coupling agent(3-chloropropyl)trimethoxysilane(CTMS)into the PEO-3D-LLZAO(PL)electrolyte.The in-situ coupling reaction improves the interface affinity,strengthens the organic/inorganic interaction,reduces the interface resistance,and thus achieves an efficient interface ion transport network.The prepared PEO-3D-LLZAO-CTMS(PLC)electrolyte exhibits enhanced ionic conductivity of 6.04×10^(-4)S cm^(-1)and high ion migration number(0.61)at 60℃and broadens the electrochemical window(5.1 V).At the same time,the PLC electrolyte has good thermal stability and high mechanical properties.Moreover,the Li Fe PO_(4)|PLC|Li battery has excellent rate performance and cycling stability with a capacity decay rate of 2.2%after 100 cycles at 60℃and 0.1 C.These advantages of PLC membranes indicate that this design approach is indeed practical,and the in-situ coupling method provides a new approach to address interface compatibility issues.

Urethral stricture is characterized by the chronic formation of fibrous tissue,leading to the narrowing of the urethral lumen.Despite the availability of various endoscopic treatments,the recurrence of urethral strictures remains a common challenge.Postsurgery pharmacotherapy targeting tissue fibrosis is a promising option for reducing recurrence rates.Although drugs cannot replace surgery,they can be used as adjuvant therapies to improve outcomes.In this regard,many drugs have been proposed based on the mechanisms underlying the pathophysiology of urethral stricture.Ongoing studies have obtained substantial progress in treating urethral strictures,highlighting the potential for improved drug effectiveness through appropriate clinical delivery methods.Therefore,this review summarizes the latest researches on the mechanisms related to the pathophysiology of urethral stricture and the drugs to provide a theoretical basis and new insights for the effective use and future advancements in drug therapy for urethral stricture.

Coumarin and its derivatives,presenting in many organisms(plants,fungi,and bacteria),are critical metabolites composed of fused benzene andα-pyrone rings.With unique biological and chemical properties,coumarin derivatives possess great technological potential in the agrochemicals,pharmaceuticals,food,and cosmetic industries.The increasing demand for coumarin derivatives accelerates the research in biological and chemical synthesis to provide stable and scalable sources of coumarins.However,the complex structures and unknown pathways have limited the progress in the biosynthesis of coumarin derivatives.Here,we summarize recent developments and provide a detailed analysis of coumarin derivative biosynthetic pathways in different organisms.

Nanocrystalline WSe_(2)excels at high-performance anode for Na storage via a facile one-pot hydrothermal method

For the next large-scale energy storage systems,sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)with excellent electrochemical performance are promising.However,the exploration of anode materials with high specific capacity,fascinating cycling stability and rate capability is still restricted.Among transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDs),tungsten diselenide(WSe_(2))has been regarded as an effective anode material for SIBs and has been extensively studied,due to high theoretical capacity and unique twodimensional layered structure.Herein,nanocrystalline WSe_(2)is prepared by a facile one-pot hydrothermal method.Compared with the micro-scale WSe_(2),benefiting from the high specific surface area of highly ordered nano-flake structures and short ion/electron transport paths,nanocrystalline WSe_(2)shows excellent electrochemical performance in Na storage.After 1000 cycles at a current density of 2 A·g^(-1),a high specific capacity of 264.4 mA·h·g^(-1)is still maintained.The full cell matched with the Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3) cathode can deliver an excellent reversible specific capacity of 196.5 mA·h·g^(-1)after 100 cycles at 0.5 A·g^(-1).

Structural effects of sulfonamides on the proliferation dynamics of sulfonamide resistance genes in the sequencing batch reactors and the mechanism

Antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs)can be easily promoted by antibiotics,however,the structural effects of antibiotics on the proliferation of ARGs dynamic and the associated mechanisms remain obscure in,especially,activated sludge sequencing batch reactors.In the present study,the effects of 9 sulfonamides(SAs)with different structures on the proliferation dynamic of sulfonamide resistance genes(Suls)in the activated sludge sequencing batch reactors and the corresponding mechanisms were determined(30 days),and the results showed that the largest proliferation value(ΔA^(R))of Suls dynamic for SAs(sulfachloropyridazine)was approximately 2.9 times than that of the smallest one(sulfadiazine).The proliferation of Suls was significantly related to the structural features(minHBint6,SssNH,SHBd and SpMax2_Bhm)that represent the biological activity of SAs.To interpret the phenomenon,a mechanistic model was developed and the results indicated that the biodegradation of SAs(T_(1/2))rather than conjugative transfer frequency or mutation frequency tends to be the key process for affecting Suls proliferation.T_(1/2)was proved to be dependent on the interactions between SAs and receptors(E_(binding)),the cleavage mode(bond dissociation energy),and the site of nucleophilic assault.Besides,the metagenomic analysis showed that SAs posed significant effect on antibiotic resistome and Tnp31 played a vital role in the proliferation of Suls.Overall,our findings provide important insight into a theoretical basis for understanding the structural effects of SAs on the proliferation of ARGs in SBR systems.

Boosted sustained-release with iron-based MOF-derived mesoporouscarbon-spheres as a nitroimidazole drugs carrier

Metal-organic framework(MoF)with a buildable internal structure has aroused great interest focus as self-sacrificing precursors of porous carbon(PC).However,as a drug carrier,the MOF-derived PC developed thus far are generally composed of irregular powder shape due to their crystalline nature,which consequently causing the cerebral infarction,cerebral thrombosis,and other blood diseases.In this article,we propose a novel approach to constructing amorphous carbon microspheres(AcMs)by dis-torting the topological network through hydrothermal treatment precursors of MIL-101(Fe).Then,a distinctive MIL-101(Fe)-derived spherical porous carbons(MSPC)is achieved through high temperature calcination toward ACMs.Effects of the glucose initial concentration and hydrothermal treatment time on the sphericity of the as-prepared mesoporous MsPC were investigated in depth.And the loading capacities and sustained-release performances of nitroimidazole drugs over MsPC through simulation internal environment of human body at different pH values was systematically evaluated.The nitro-imidazole drugs loading rate and release time of MsPC are 10% and 17 h under preferred process.Furthermore,the MSPC exhibited very low toxicity on Hela cells and 293T cells at the concentrations tested(10-800μg mL^(-1)).This study,therefore,supports the potential of the mesoporous carbon spheres as a carrierfor nitroimidazole drug delivery.

Application of organic manure as a potential strategy to alleviate the limitation of microbial resources in soybean rhizospheric and bulk soils

The development and vigor of soil microorganisms in terrestrial ecosystems are frequently constrained by the limited availability of essential elements such as carbon(C),nitrogen(N),and phosphorus(P).In this study,we investigated the impact of long-term application of varying levels of organic manure,low(7.5 Mg ha^(−1)yr^(−1)),moderate(15.0 Mg ha^(−1)yr^(−1)),and high(22.5 Mg ha^(−1)yr^(−1)),on the stoichiometry of enzymes and the structures of the microbial communities in soybean rhizospheric and bulk soils.The main goal of this research was to examine how soil microbial resource limitations in the rhizosphere respond to different long-term fertilization strategies.The soil enzymatic activities were quantified,and the structure of the microbial community was assessed by analyzing phospholipid fatty acid profiles.When compared to the bulk soil,the rhizospheric soil had significant increases in microbial biomass carbon(MBC),nitrogen(MBN),and phosphorus(MBP),with MBC increasing by 54.19 to 72.86%,MBN by 47.30 to 48.17%,and MBP by 17.37 to 208.47%.Compared with the unfertilized control(CK),the total microbial biomasses of the rhizospheric(increased by 22.80 to 90.82%)and bulk soils(increased by 10.57 to 60.54%)both exhibited increases with the application of organic manure,and the rhizospheric biomass was higher than that of bulk soil.Compared with bulk soil,the activities of C-,N-and P-acquiring enzymes of rhizospheric soil increased by 22.49,14.88,and 29.45%under high levels of organic manure,respectively.Analyses of vector length,vector angle,and scatter plots revealed that both rhizospheric and bulk soils exhibited limitations in terms of both carbon(C)and phosphorus(P)availability.The results of partial least-squares path modelling indicated that the rhizospheric soil exhibited a more pronounced response to the rate of manure application than the bulk soil.The varying reactions of rhizospheric and bulk soils to the extended application of organic manure underscore the crucial function of the rhizosphere in miti
