Solar vapor generation is a promising sustainable technology that uses solar distillation to produce fresh water from seawater and wastewater,helping relieve global water resource ***,inspired by naturally grown integrally molded mulberry leaves with a Janus hydrophilic and hydrophobic structure,a novel,simple,and efficient integrated molding method is proposed to break through the limitations of the traditional split manufacturing strategy and realizes the integrated formation of Janus *** on the spontaneous sedimentation characteristics of MXene in silk fibroin solution and its regulation of mesoscopic structure and hydrophilicity of silk fibroin,layered structures with different compositions and hydrophilicities were obtained in one ***,ethanol and glutaraldehyde were added to construct a physical crystallization-chemical crosslinking dual stabilization structure in silk *** evaporator has the evaporation rate of 3.07 kg·m^(-2)·h^(-1) and the efficiency of 86.8%under 1 sun and maintains high evaporation performance under various extreme test conditions including vigorous washing,repeated compression,and high-intensity ultraviolet(UV)***,the evaporator performs well in practical application scenarios,its evaporation rate in the simulated Dead Sea seawater exceeds 2.13 kg·m^(-2)·h^(-1),and more than 99.9%of the salt,heavy metal ions,oil pollution,and dyes are purified.

To improve the wear performance of CoCrAlYTa coating,part of the carbon nanotubes(CNTs)chemically reacted with Ta to form reinforcement phase(TaC),while the other CNTs were retained as lubrication ***,the CoCrAlYTa-xCNTs(x=0,1,2,and 4;wt%)composite coatings were prepared by laserinduction hybrid cladding(LIHC),and the microstructure and wear resistance of coatings were systematically *** show that the coatings are mainly composed of TaC,y-(Co,Cr)andβ-(Co,Cr)*** the CNTs content increases from 0 wt%to 4 wt%,the volume fraction of TaC increases from 13.11 vol%to 16.12 vol%.Meanwhile,the nano-hardness ofγ-(Co,Cr)andβ-(Co,Cr)Al are improved from 7.49 and 9.72 to 9.36 and 11.19 GPa,*** a result,the microhardness of coating increases from HV536.25 to HV 738.16,the wear rate decreases from32.4×10^(-3)to 6.1×10^(-3)mg·m^(-1),and the average friction coefficient decreases from 0.55 to *** good wear performance of the coating is attributed to the formation of TaC and the existence of remained CNTs lubricant film.

Stress-assisted corrosion mechanism of 3Ni steel by using gradient boosting decision tree machining learning method

This study was to evaluate the effect of supplementing the diet of broilers with Neolamarckia cadamba leaf extract(NCLE) on meat quality by evaluating antioxidant parameters and the expression of genes in the p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase/nuclear factor-erythroid 2-related factor 2/antioxidant responsive element(p38 MAPK/Nrf2/ARE) signaling pathway, coupled with LC-MS-based metabolomic analysis. A total of 480 one-day-old male broilers were randomly allocated to four treatment groups—a control(CON)group, which was fed a basal diet, and three NCLE treatment groups, which were fed the basal diet supplemented with 100, 200, or 400 mg/kg NCLE(N1, N2, and N3 groups, respectively) for 42 d. Compared with the CON group, meat quality was improved in the N2 and N3 groups, as evidenced by the higher p H45min(P < 0.05) and lower shear force(P < 0.05) in breast muscle(BM) and lower drip loss at48 h(P < 0.05) in leg muscle(LM). Moreover, BM antioxidant capacity was significantly enhanced in the N3group, characterized by an increase in the total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC), the concentrations of glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px) and catalase(CAT), and the relative mRNA expression of p38 MAPK,extracellular-signal regulated kinase 1/2(ERK1/2), c-Jun N-terminal kinase(JNK), Nrf2, CAT, and GSH-Px(P < 0.05). Similarly, LM in the N3 group displayed higher T-AOC, increased GSH-Px and CAT concentrations,reduced malonaldehyde contents(P < 0.05), and upregulation of the relative mRNA levels of JNK, Nrf2,heme oxygenase, CAT, and superoxide dismutase(SOD)(P < 0.05). Metabolomics analysis revealed that Darabinono-1,4-lactone and lyso-PAF C-16-d4 were negatively correlated with shear force and cooking loss(P < 0.05) and displayed increased abundance in BM of the N3 group. Cryptic diversity and rampant hybridization in annual gentians on the qinghai-Tibet Plateau revealed by population genomic analysis

Understanding the evolutionary and ecological processes involved in population differentiation and speciation provides critical insights into biodiversity formation. In this study, we employed 29,865 single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) and complete plastomes to examine genomic divergence and hybridization in Gentiana aristata, which is endemic to the qinghai-Tibet Plateau(QTP) region. Genetic clustering revealed that G. aristata is characterized by geographic genetic structures with five clusters(West, East, Central, South and North). The West cluster has a specific morphological character(i.e., blue corolla) and higher values of FSTcompared to the remaining clusters, likely the result of the geological barrier formed by the yangtze River. The West cluster diverged from the other clusters in the Early Pliocene;these remaining clusters diverged from one another in the Early Quaternary. Phylogenetic reconstructions based on SNPs and plastid data revealed substantial cyto-nuclear conflicts. Genetic clustering and D-statistics demonstrated rampant hybridization between the Central and North clusters,along the Bayankala Mountains, which form the geological barrier between the Central and North clusters. Species distribution modeling demonstrated the range of G. aristata expanded since the Last Interglacial period. Our findings provide genetic and morphological evidence of cryptic diversity in G. aristata, and identified rampant hybridization between genetic clusters along a geological *** findings suggest that geological barriers and climatic fluctuations have an important role in triggering diversification as well as hybridization, indicating that cryptic diversity and hybridization are essential factors in biodiversity formation within the QTP region.

Interface interaction between SiO_(2) and magnetite under high temperature:particle migration and inhibition mechanism

Silicon is one of the main gangue components in iron ore,usually in the form of quartz and *** studies have shown that SiO_(2) has a two-sided effect on the consolidation of pellets during high-temperature oxidation roasting of ***,it is very difficult to capture the structural evolution and migration mechanisms during high-tem-perature roasting process by existing experimental ***,the influence of SiO_(2) on the consolidation behavior of magnetite was studied through a series of roasting experiments and molecular dynamic *** results show that the consolidation index and particle growth index decrease with the increase in SiO_(2) content in the *** 1573 K,the liquid phase promotes the recrystallization growth of hematite at high *** dynamic study shows that it is difficult for quartz SiO_(2) to form sintering neck with Fe_(2)O_(3).When the calcination temperature is higher than 1400 K,the Fe_(2)O_(3)-Fe_(2)SiO_(4) system produces a considerable sintering neck structure after *** atomic migration ability of Fe_(2)SiO_(4) is much higher than that of Fe_(2)O_(3).The higher atomic migration ability of Fe_(2)SiO_(4) is the main reason for the formation of the sintering neck.

Effect of comprehensive nursing on the quality of life and swallowing function in individuals diagnosed with ischemic stroke

BACKGROUND Ischemic stroke(IS)is a widely recognized disease characterized by high preva-lence,mortality,morbidity,disability,and recurrence *** ranks prominently in terms of mortality,constituting 60%-80%of stroke *** To explore the impact of comprehensive nursing care on the quality of life and swallowing function in individuals diagnosed with *** This study comprised 172 patients with IS admitted to our hospital between February 2018 to March *** participants were divided into two groups,namely the control group(n=80)receiving routine care and the research group(n=92)receiving comprehensive *** assessment scales,including the standard swallowing function assessment scale(SSA),National Institutes of Health Stroke scale(NIHSS),European stroke scale(ESS),self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS),Barthel index(BI),and the motor func-tion assessment scale(MAS),were employed to evaluate the improvement in swallowing function,neurological deficits,clinical outcomes,anxiety,depression,daily living activities,and motor function before and after ***,the study compared the occurrence of adverse reactions during the nursing period,life quality before and after the intervention,rehabilitation compliance,and nursing satisfaction between the two *** After the nursing intervention,the research group exhibited significantly improved SSA and NIHSS scores compared to the control group(P<0.05).Moreover,both groups demonstrated significant reductions in SAS and SDS scores(P<0.05),with the research group showing more obvious advantages(P<0.05).Compared to the control group,the research group displayed significantly better ESS,BI,and MAS scores(P<0.05),coupled with a lower incidence of adverse reactions(P<0.05).Additionally,the research group demonstrated markedly higher levels of life quality,rehabilitation compliance,and nursing satisfaction compared to the control group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Comprehensive nu
