In this work,a reactive air jet attrition device with auto-recording and collection of elutriated fines was *** established insights into the physiochemical interaction and further correlated attrition behaviors between char and oxygen carriers under various operation *** attrition rate increased by over 110% upon the introduced CO_(2),which brought in the significant effect of thermo-chemical stress,similarly in effects of the increased char addition ratio and the decreased sizes of char or hematite in different *** the char-hematite co-attrition process,the elutriated carbon loss of char with poor mechanical strength was found to be over 10%,while the reactive iron loss of hematite was found to be 6.3%,and was enriched in elutriated *** reaction-derived thermochemical stress and the collision-derived mechanical stress jointly controls the particle attrition during the cyclic transformation of oxygen carrier particles in coal-fueled chemical looping fluidization,especially sig-nificant in its reduction stage.

Wearable electronics powered by flexible energy storage devices have captured global *** low-temperature conditions,unfortunately,solidification of flexible hydrogel electrolyte and decreased pseudo-capacity of these devices largely hamper their practical *** this study,photothermally-active Prussian blue(PB)was introduced onto poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)/polyacrylamide(PEDOT/PAM)networks to address the challenges of electrolyte solidification and degraded pseudo-capacitance for flexible all-in-one device at low *** as-constructed PB/PEDOT/PAM hydrogel device delivers stable electrochemical performance and remarkable mechanical property with 1652%***,this hydrogel device well retains its flexibility in cold environment with a freezing point below−30℃.The incorporation of PB extends the voltage range to 1.5 V as a single device,thus significantly enhancing the electrochemical performance as an all-inone integrated *** from the outstanding photo-to-thermal conversion ability of embedded PB nanocubes,the temperature of the assembled all-in-one PB/PEDOT/PAM device increased from^(−2)0 to 17.7℃ after solar-light irradiation for only 5 ***,the degraded pseudo-capacitance was subsequently boosted to 287.1%of its original capacitance at−20℃.This study establishes a connection between flexible all-solid-state hydrogel devices and photothermally enhanced pseudocapacitors in freezing environments,thereby expanding the potential applications of multi-functional pseudo-capacitors.

A thermodynamic model for predicting the equilibrium oxygens of 304 stainless steel was developed based on the theory of slag-steel equilibrium,the law of mass conservation,and the ion and molecule coexistence *** the developed model,the Fe-Cr-Mn-Si-Al-S-O-melts reaction system and CaO-MgO-CaF_(2)-FeO-MnO-Al_(2)O_(3)-SiO_(2)-Cr2O_(3)slags were *** oxygen contents calculated by the model are in good agreement with experimental results and reference *** equilibrium oxygen contents in 304 stainless steel mainly decrease with increasing binary basicity(w(CaO)/w(SiO_(2)),where w(i)is the mass percentage of component i)and decreasing *** binary basicity at 2.0 while maintaining temperatures lower than 1823 K will keep the oxygen contents in the 304 stainless steel lower than 15×10^(-6).The equilibrium oxygen contents may also be decreased with increasing content of MgO in slags,which is more significant at lower binary ***,a small amount of FeO,MnO,and Al_(2)O_(3)(about 0-2.5 wt.%)in slags has little effect on equilibrium oxygen ***,it is found that the[C]-[O]reaction may occur during refining process but will not significantly affect the equilibrium oxygen contents.

The double-layer NiCr-Cr_(3)C_(2)/Ni-Zn-Al_(2)O_(3) coatings with sufficient corrosion and wear resistance were prepared on low carbon steel *** intermediate layers Ni-Zn-Al_(2)O_(3) were fabricated by using low-pressure cold spray (LPCS) method to improve the salt fog corrosion resistance properties of the supersonic plasma spray (SPS) NiCr-Cr_(3)C_(2) *** friction and wear performance for the double-layer and single-layer NiCr-Cr_(3)C_(2) coatings were carried out by line-contact reciprocating sliding,*** with the coating surface analysis techniques,the effect of the salt fog corrosion on the tribological properties of the double-layer coatings was *** results showed that the double-layer coatings exhibited better wear resistance than that of the single-layer coatings,due to the better corrosion resistance of the intermediate layer;the wear mass losses of the double-layer coatings was reduced by 70%than that of the single layer coatings and the wear mechanism of coatings after salt fog corrosion conditions is mainly corrosion wear.

Background The priority effect of plant arrival is a key driver of community assembly and ecosystem succession during the restoration of degraded plant communities. However, the significance of the arrival order of different plant functional groups and their interactions with community assemblies remains unclear. Using a phytotron experiment with three fully crossed factors, we investigated the underlying mechanisms of priority effects and their relationships with the biomass and biodiversity effects in mixed plant communities by manipulating the order of arrival of species, isolation of roots, and removal of specific *** The results showed that the strength and direction of priority effects were influenced by arrival order, root interactions, asymmetric competition among species, and their interactions. The identities of early and late-sown species also determined the magnitude of priority effects. The priority effects were stronger in grass-first(24.76%) and legume-first communities(24.48%) than in forb-first communities. The pot biomass of the different priority treatments was highest in grass-first(5.85 g), followed by legume-first(3.94 g) and forb-first(2.48 g). The order of arrival in the mixture significantly affected the net biodiversity effects(P lies. In addition, the importance of the priority effect of forbs sown first is related to community assembly, which may be a key determinant in successfully establishing a highly diverse community in the early stages of restoration. Environmental sediments mainly consisting of CaO–MgO–Al_(2)O_(3)–SiO_(2)(CMAS)corrosion are a serious threat to thermal barrier coatings(TBCs),in which Fe element is usually ***_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)TBCs are famous for their excellent CMAS *** this study,the characteristics of Fe-containing environmental sediments(CMAS-Fe)and their corrosiveness to Gd_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)coatings were *** types of CMAS-Fe glass with different Fe contents were *** melting points were measured to be 1322–1344℃,and the high-temperature viscosity showed a decreasing trend with increasing Fe *** corrosion behavior of four types of CMAS-Fe to Gd_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)coatings at 1350℃was *** the initial corrosion stage(0.1 h),anorthite was precipitated in CMAS-Fe with a high Ca:Si ratio,while Fe-garnet was formed in the melt with the highest Fe *** the corrosion time resulted in the formation of a reaction layer,which exhibited an interpenetrating network composed of Gd-oxyapatite,ZrO_(2),and residual *** spinel was precipitated within the reaction *** 1 h or even longer time,the reaction layers tended to be stable and compact,which had comparable hardness and fracture toughness to those of Gd_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)*** the cyclic CMAS-Fe attack,the residual CMAS-Fe in the interpenetrating network provided a pathway for the redeposited CMAS-Fe infiltration,resulting in the continuous growth of the reaction *** a result,the Gd_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)coatings had a large consumption in the thickness,degrading the coating ***,the Gd_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)coatings exhibit unsatisfactory corrosion resistance to CMAS-Fe attack.

The discovery of metal-nitrogen centers as the active sites for electrolysis has aroused significant interest in utilizing single-atom catalysts for nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR).Properly designed nanostructured catalysts that strongly interact with nitrogen molecules(N_(2))can promote adsorption and activation,thereby resulting in efficient catalysts with high stability,activity,and *** this study,using density functional theory calculations,we selected monolayer black phosphorus(BP)as the substrate and screened a series of single-atom transition metals confined in tri-coordinated and tetra-coordinated active centers(without and with N dopants)to electro-catalyze *** a result,we have identified two promising candidates(Hf_(1)-N_(1)P_(2)-1 and Tc_(1)-N_(4)),which exhibit not only low overpotentials of 0.56 and 0.49 V but also high thermodynamic and electrochemical stability,as well as good selectivity towards NRR over the competing hydrogen evolution *** also demonstrate the ability of Hf_(1)-N_(1)P_(2)-1 and Tc_(1)-N_(4) to activate and hydrogenate N_(2) by donating electrons and regulating charge *** study not only predicts new BP-based promising catalysts but also provides guidance for the rational design of high-performance NRR electrocatalysts under ambient conditions.
