Pre-hospital care-seeking in patients with acute myocardial infarction and subsequent quality of care in Beijing

Background Cumulative evidence demonstrates that primary percutaneous coronary intervention（PCI）is a mperfusion strategy for ST-elevation myocardial Infarction（STEMI）.This study was undertaken to evaluate the pre-hospital care-seeking pathway and subsequent care quality in patients with STEMI in the Beijing health care system,which offers patients a choice between seeking care in a small community hospital（SH group）or a large hospital（LH group）.Methods Between January 1 and December 31,2006, a cross-sectional and multicenter survey was conducted in 11 hospitals qualified as tertiary centers in Beijing and included consecutive patients with STEMI admitted within 24 hours after onset of *** Among the 566 patients interviewed,28.3%first arnved at a small community hospitaI and were transferred to large hospitals with the ability to perform primary *** median total pre-hospital delay in the SH group（n=160）was significantly longer than in the LH group（n=406）（225 vs.120 minutes,P〈0.001）.Multivariate analysis showed that interpreting symptoms to non-cardiac origin（OR,1.996;95%CI： 1.264-3.155）,absence of history of myocardial infarction（OR,1.595;95%CI：1.086-3.347）,non-health insuranca coverage（OR,1.931;95%Cl：1.079-3.012）and absence of sense of impending doom （OR,4.367;95%CI：1.279-1 4.925） were independent predictors for choosing small *** adjusting for demographics and medical history,patients in the SH group were 1.698 times（95% CI： 1.1 82-3.661） less likely to receive primary PCI compared with those in the LH group. Conclusions Above one fourth of the STEMI patients in Beijing experienced inter-hospital *** including symptoms interpretation,symptoms,history of myocardial infarcUon,and insurance coverage were associated with the patients＇pre-hospital care-seeking *** patients who were transferred had longer pre-hospital delays and were less Iikely to receive primary PCI.

Objective: The incidence of after-cataracts [also known as posterior capsular opacification (PCO)] is between 30% and 50% three years following cataract surgery. Suppressing the proliferation of lens epithelial cells (LECs) is a primary goal in preventing PCO. Here, we investigated the proteomic regulation of the inhibitory effects of curcumin (Cur) on the proliferation of human lens epithelial B3 (HLE-B3) cells. Methods: Recombinant human basic fibroblast growth factor (rhbFGF) was used to induce proliferation of HLE-B3 cells, which were incubated with 20 mg/L Cur in a CO2 incubator for 24 h. Results: We found that the absorbance (A) value of rhbFGF group was significantly higher than the A value of the control group. Furthermore, the A value of the Cur group was significantly lower com- pared to the rhbFGF group, with an inhibition of 53.7%. Five different protein spots were obtained from proliferative HLE-B3 cells induced by rhbFGF. Eight different protein spots were obtained in HLE-B3 cells incubated with Cur. There were the common variational protein spots at mass/charge (m/z) ratios of 8 093 and 13 767 between rhbFGF group and control group as well as between the Cur group and rhbFGF group. Conclusions: These results show that Cur effectively inhibited HLE-B3 cell proliferation induced by rhbFGF. The protein spots at m/z of 8 093 and 13 767 may be the targets of Cur-induced inhibition of HLE-B3 cell proliferation. Cur may be a reliable and effective drug for pre- vention and treatment of polymerase chain reaction (PCR).

A rapid method has been developed based on the sample preparation procedure named as QuEChERS （Quick, Easy, Cheap, Effective, Rugged and Safe）, combined with reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatography with fluorescence detector and C18 column after precolumn derivatization using o-phthalaldehyde and 2-mercaptoethanol to determine dopamine in porcine muscle. Methanol and deionized water （0.1% acetic acid, v/v） with a ratio of 60：40 was used as mobile phase. The flow rate was 0.8 mL/min and dopamine was eluted within 15 min. The linearity range was 0.003-8 μg/mL with r=0.9992. The detection limit for dopamine was 4 μg/kg and the quantification limit was 9 μg/kg. Recovery studies were carried out at 0.1, 0.5 and 1.0 mg/kg fortification levels and the average recoveries obtained ranged from 90.4% to 98.2% with relative standard deviations between 3.5% and 8.1%. The method was found to be suitable for detection of dopamine in animal product tissues at the maximum residue level.

Agglomeration phenomenon can often be observed during the fabrication process of petal-shaped, nano-sized Ce2（CO3）3 powders. This kind of powder was produced by liquid-phase precipitation method with the template agent of polyallylamine hydrochloride （PAH）. In this study, the effects of the polymer concentration, pH value, and stirring speed on the agglomeration phe- nomenon of cerium carbonate were investigated. On the condition that the concentration of PAH is 0.9 g·L^-1, the pH value of the adjusting solution is 3-4, the final pH value is 8-10, and the stirring speed is 300-400 r·min^-1, it is found that the agglomeration phenomenon of Ce2（CO3）3 particles can be greatly prevented and the regular petal- shaped particles are formed.

In Beyond the Fifth Generation(B5G)heterogeneous edge networks,numerous users are multiplexed on a channel or served on the same frequency resource block,in which case the transmitter applies coding and the receiver uses interference ***,uncoordinated radio resource allocation can reduce system throughput and lead to user inequity,for this reason,in this paper,channel allocation and power allocation problems are formulated to maximize the system sum rate and minimum user achievable *** the construction model is non-convex and the response variables are high-dimensional,a distributed Deep Reinforcement Learning(DRL)framework called distributed Proximal Policy Optimization(PPO)is proposed to allocate or assign ***,several simulated agents are trained in a heterogeneous environment to find robust behaviors that perform well in channel assignment and power ***,agents in the collection stage slow down,which hinders the learning of other ***,a preemption strategy is further proposed in this paper to optimize the distributed PPO,form DP-PPO and successfully mitigate the straggler *** experimental results show that our mechanism named DP-PPO improves the performance over other DRL methods.

Numerical simulation of the temperature fields of stainless steel with different roller parameters during twin-roll strip casting

The temperature field of stainless steel during twin-roll strip casting was simulated by experiment and a finite element （FE） model. By comparing the measured result with the simulated values, it is found that they fit close to each other, which indicates this FE model is effective. Based on this model, the effects of roll gap （t） and roll radius （R） on solidification were simulated. The simulated results give the relationship between t or R and the position of the freezing point. The larger the t is and the smaller the R is, the closer the position of the freezing point is to the exit.
