Metabolically healthy obesity refers to obese individuals who do not develop metabolic *** people store fat in subcutaneous adipose tissue(SAT)rather than in visceral adipose tissue(VAT).However,the molecules participating in this specific scenario remain ***18,a lipid droplet(LD)-associated protein,mediates the contact between the endoplasmic reticulum(Er)and LDs to facilitate LD growth and *** the present study,we show that the protein level of rab18 is specifically upregulated in the SAT of obese people and ***18 adipocyte-specific knockout(rab18 AKO)mice had a decreased volume ratio of SAT to VAT compared with wildtype *** subjected to high-fat diet(HFD),rab18 AKO mice had increased Er stress and inflammation,reduced adiponectin,and decreased triacylglycerol(TAG)accumulation in *** contrast,TAG accumulation in VAT,brown adipose tissue(BAT)or liver of rab18AKO mice had a moderate increase without Er stress ***18 AKO mice developed insulin resistance and systematic ***18 AKO mice maintained body temperature in response to acute and chronic cold induction with a thermogenic SAT,similar to the counterpart ***,rab18-deficient 3T3-L1 adipocytes were more prone to palmitate-induced Er stress,indicating the involvement of rab18 in alleviating lipid ***18 AKO mice provide a good animal model to investigate metabolic disorders such as impaired *** conclusion,our studies reveal that rab18 is a key and specific regulator that maintains the proper functions of SAT by alleviating lipid-induced Er stress.

Marine umbilical is one of the key equipment for subsea oil and gas exploitation,which is usually integrated by a great number of different functional components with *** layout of these components directly affects manufacturing,operation and storage performances of the *** the multi-layer cross-sectional layout design of the umbilical,a quantifiable multi-objective optimization model is established according to the operation and storage *** the manufacturing factors,the multi-layering strategy based on contact point identification is introduced for a great number of functional ***,the GA-GLM global optimization algorithm is proposed combining the genetic algorithm and the generalized multiplier method,and the selection operator of the genetic algorithm is improved based on the steepest descent *** algorithm is used to find the optimal solution in the global space,which can converge from any initial layout to the feasible layout *** feasible layout solution is taken as the initial value of the generalized multiplier method for fast and accurate ***,taking umbilicals with a great number of components as examples,the results show that the cross-sectional performance of the umbilical obtained by optimization algorithm is better and the solution efficiency is ***,the multi-layering strategy is effective and *** design method proposed in this paper can quickly obtain the optimal multi-layer cross-sectional layout,which replaces the manual design,and provides useful reference and guidance for the umbilical industry.

rationally designed multiporphyrinic architectures for boosting photodynamic therapy(pDT)have attracted significant attentions recently years due to their great potential for light-mediated generation of reactive oxygen ***,there is still a gap between the structure design and their pDT performance for biomedical *** tutorial review provides a historical overview on(i)the basic concept of pDT for deeply understanding the porphyrin-mediated pDT reactions,(ii)developing strategies for constructing porphyrinic architectures,like nanorings,boxes,metal-organic frameworks(MOFs),covalent-organic frameworks(COFs),vesicles,etc.,where we classified into the following three categories:multiporphyrin arrays,porphyrinic frameworks,and others porphyrin assemblies,(iii)the various application scenarios for clinical cancer therapy and antibacterial ***,the existing challenges and future perspectives on the innovation of porphyrinic architectures for clinical pDT applications are mentioned in the end ***,the porphyrinic nanomaterials with atomically precise architectures provide an ideal platform for investigating the relationship between structures and pDT outputs,design of personalized“all-in-one”theranostic agents,and the popularization and application in wider biomedical fields.

Inetetamab combined with tegafur as second-line treatment for human epidermal growth factor receptor-2-positive gastric cancer: A case report

BACKGrOUND Human epidermal growth factor receptor-2(HEr-2)plays a vital role in tumor cell proliferation and ***,the prognosis of HEr2-positive gastric cancer is ***,a novel anti-HEr2 targeting drug independently developed in china,exhibits more potent antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity than trastuzumab,which is administered as the first-line treatment for HEr2-positive gastric cancer in combination with *** this case,the efficacy and safety of inetetamab combined with tegafur was investigated as a second-line treatment for HEr2-positive gastric *** SUMMArY A 52-year-old male patient with HEr2-positive gastric cancer presented with abdominal distension,poor appetite,and fatigue two years after receiving six cycles of oxaliplatin combined with tegafur as first-line treatment after surgery,followed by tegafur monotherapy for six *** patient was diagnosed with postoperative recurrence of gastric *** received 17 cycles of a combination of inetetamab,an innovative domestically developed anti-HEr2 monoclonal antibody,and tegafur chemotherapy as the second-line treatment(inetetamab 200 mg on day 1,every 3 wk combined with tegafur twice daily on days 1–14,every 3 wk).Evaluation of the efficacy of the second-line treatment revealed that the patient achieved a stable condition and progression-free survival of 17 *** tolerated the treatment well without exhibiting any grade 3-4 adverse *** Inetetamab combined with chemotherapy for the treatment of metastatic HEr2-positive gastric cancer demonstrates significant survival benefits and acceptable safety.

BACKGrOUND Bladder cancer is a type of cancer with a high incidence in *** electrosurgery(pES)is often used in the treatment of bladder *** complications often cause depression and anxiety in patients after *** To investigate the current state of depression and anxiety after pES in patients with non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer and analyze the factors affecting *** A retrospective study was conducted to compare the baseline data of patients by collecting their medical history and grouping them according to their mental status into negative and normal *** regression analysis was used to explore the risk factors affecting the occurrence of anxiety and depression after surgery in patients with bladder *** Comparative analyses of baseline differences showed that the patients in the negative and normal groups differed in terms of their first surgery,economic status,educational level,and marital status.A logistic regression analysis showed that it affected the occurrence of anxiety in patients with bladder cancer,and the results showed that whether the risk factors were whether or not it was the first surgery,monthly income between 3000 and 3000-6000,secondary or junior high school education level,single,divorced,and widowed *** The risk factors affecting the onset of anxiety and depression in bladder cancer patients after pES are the number of surgeries,economic status,level of education,and marital *** study provides a reference for the clinical treatment and prognosis of bladder cancer patients in the future.

Two-dimensional(2D)materials that combine ferromagnetic,semiconductor,and piezoelectric properties hold significant potential for both fundamental research and spin electronic ***,the majority of reported 2D ferromagnetic-semiconductor-piezoelectric materials rely on d-electron systems,which limits their practical applications due to a Curie temperature lower than room temperature(rT).Here,we report a high-crystallinity carbon nitride(CCN)material based on sp-electrons using a chemical vapor deposition *** exhibits a band gap of 1.8 eV and has been confirmed to possess substantial in-plane and out-of-plane ***,we acquired clear evidences of ferromagnetic behavior at room *** structural characterizations combined with theoretical calculations reveal that incorporating structural oxygen into the highly ordered heptazine structure causes partial substitution of nitrogen sites,which is primarily responsible for generating room-temperature ferromagnetism and *** a result,the strain in wrinkles can effectively modulate the domain behavior and piezoelectric potential at room *** addition of rT ferromagnetic-semiconductor-piezoelectric material based on sp-electrons to the family of two-dimensional materials opens up numerous possibilities for novel applications in fundamental research and spin electronic devices.

Covalent organic frameworks doped with manganese-metal organic framework for peroxymonosulfate activation

A novel N, O modified Mn_(3)O_(4)@porous carbon catalyst(NOC-Mn_(3)O_(4)) was prepared by direct carbonization using the manganese-metal organic framework(Mn-MOF) and covalent organic framework(COF) as precursors to activate peroxymonosulfate(pMS) for the degradation of bisphenol A(BpA) and rhodamine B(rh B). Benefiting from the N and O co-doping of COF, larger specific surface area, faster electron transfer and Mn cycling, the optimum 1NOC-Mn_(3)O_(4)could significantly improve the degradation performance of BpA and rh B(92.1% and 96.9% within 30 min) as compared to C-Mn_(3)O_(4)without COF doping. In addition, 1NOC-Mn_(3)O_(4) showed good reusability and strong anti-interference ability. radical quenching experiments, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XpS), Electron paramagnetic resonance spectrometer(Epr) and electrochemical tests showed that the 1NOC-Mn_(3)O_(4)/pMS system degraded BpA and rh B by both radical and non-radical pathways. Moreover, the possible degradation pathways of BpA and rh B were proposed by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(LC-MS). Except for that, the toxicity of BpA, rh B and their intermediates were evaluated. This study opens up a new prospect for the design of COF-doped pMS catalysts.

Aiming at the significance of the energy controls of wireless sensor networks, an economical energy consumption algorithm for wireless communicating in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) is presented. Based on the algorithm, the maximal system throughput of WSN is analyzed, and the upper bound of throughput of WSN is proposed and proved. Some numerical simulations are conducted and analyzed. The conclusions include that the transmitting radius of sensor node and the parameters of the energy cost function have significant influence upon the throughput, but the monitoring region radius has little influence. For the same transmitting distance, the more the hopping of information trans- mitting, the better the throughput of WSN. On the other hand, for the energy optimization of the whole WSN, the trade-off problem between the throughput capacity and the relay nodes is proposed, and the specific expression of relay hops that minimized the energy consumptions and the maximal throughput of WSN under the specific situation is derived.

The development of freestanding and binder-free electrode is an effective approach to perform the inherent capacity of active materials and promote the mechanism study by minimizing the interference from ***,we construct a freestanding cathode composed of MoS_(3)/ppy nanowires(NWs)deposited on porous nickel foam(NF)(MoS_(3)/ppy/NF)through electrochemical methods,which can work efficiently as sulfur-equivalent cathode material for Li-S *** structural stability of the MoS_(3)/ppy/NF cathode is greatly enhanced due to its significant tolerance to the volume expansion of MoS_(3)during the lithiation process,which we ascribe to the flexible 3D framework of ppy NWs,leading to superior cycling performance compared to the bulk-MoS_(3)/NF *** the interference of binder and carbon additives,the evolution of the chemical and electronic structure of Mo and S species during the discharge/charge was studied by X-ray absorption near-edge spectroscopy(XANES).The formation of lithium polysulfides was excluded as the driving cathode reaction mechanism,suggesting the great potential of MoS_(3)as a promising sulfur-equivalent cathode material to evade the shuttle effect for Li-S *** present study successfully demonstrates the importance of structural design of freestanding electrode enhancing the cycling performances and revealing the corresponding mechanisms.
