Food allergy is a significant public health concern *** probiotics have been found to enhance food allergy by regulating immune-microbe interactions in animal models and ***,the effects of Bifidobacterium lactis probio-M8 on food allergy have not been thoroughly *** present study examined the anti-allergic properties of probio-M8,particularly in relation to immune response and gut microbiota *** demonstrate that oral administration of probio-M8 effectively mitigated the allergy symptoms triggered by ovalbumin(OVA)by ameliorating the morphological damage in the jejunum,reducing OVA-specific IgE and histamine levels in the serum,and suppressing Th2 cytokines(interleukin(IL)4 and IL-13)while increasing Th1 cytokines(interferon(IFN)γ)and regulatory T(Treg)cytokines(IL-10 and transforming growth factor(TGF)β1)in the culture supernatants of splenic ***,probio-M8 effectively altered the diversity and composition of gut microbiota,particularly the relative abundances of Akkermansia_muciniphila in OVA-induced *** to the OVA group,the probio-M8 group showed a decrease in the relative abundance of Akkermansia_*** conclusion,probio-M8 demonstrates the potential to alleviate food allergy by regulating the Th1/Th2 response and modulating gut microbiota,thereby offering a novel therapeutic strategy for patients with food allergy.

The influence of a mechanical structure's volume increment on the volume power density (VpD) of triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) is often neglected when considering surface charge density and surface power density. This paper aims to address this gap by introducing a standardized VpD metric for a more comprehensive evaluation of TENG performance. The study specifically focuses on 2 frequency-up mechanisms, namely, the integration of planetary gears (pG-TENG) and the implementation of a double-cantilever structure (DC-TENG), to investigate their impact on VpD. The study reveals that the pG-TENG achieves the highest volume average power density, measuring at 0.92 W/m^(3). This value surpasses the DC-TENG by 1.26 times and the counterpart TENG by a magnitude of 69.9 times. Additionally, the pG-TENG demonstrates superior average power output. These findings introduce a new approach for enhancing TENGs by incorporating frequency-up mechanisms, and highlight the importance of VpD as a key performance metric for evaluating TENGs.

In this work,a new methodology is presented to mainly solve the fluid–solid interaction(FSI)*** methodology combines the advantages of the Newmark precise integral method(NpIM)and the dual neural network(DNN)*** NpIM is employed to modify the exponential matrix and loading vector based on the DNN integral *** involves incorporating the basic assumption of the Newmark-βmethod into the dynamic equation and eliminating the acceleration term from the dynamic equilibrium *** a result,the equation is reduced to a first-order linear equation ***,the pIM is applied to integrate the system step by step within the *** DNN method is adopted to solve the inhomogeneous term through fitting the integrand and the original function with a pair of neural networks,and the integral term is solved using the Newton–Leibniz *** examples demonstrate that the proposed methodology significantly improves computing efficiency and provides sufficient precision compared to the DNN *** is particularly evident when analyzing large-scale structures under blast loading conditions.

Understanding livelihood vulnerability:a perspective from Western Sichuan’s ethnic rural settings

To explore the livelihood status and key influencing factors of rural households in the minority areas,we collected flat data from 284 rural households in 32 villages across 12 counties of Western Sichuan from 2021 to *** conducted participatory household survey on the livelihood status of the rural households and try to identify the key factors to influence their livelihood vulnerability using multiple linear *** results showed that:the livelihood situation of the rural households is relatively *** vulnerability varies significantly with the income levels,education levels,and income *** vulnerability of farm households,categorized from low to high livelihood types,follows the sequence:non-agricultural dominant households,non-agricultural households,agricultural dominant households,and pure agricultural *** degree of damage to the natural environment,education costs,loan opportunities,the proportion of agricultural income to annual household income,and the presence of sick people in the household have significant positive effects on the livelihood vulnerability index(LVI)of rural households;while help from relatives and friends,net income per capita,household size,household education,agricultural land area,participation in industrial organizations,number of livestock,purchase of commercial houses,drinking water source,and self-supply of food have significant negative *** on the findings,we believe that local rural households operate in a complex livelihood system and recommend continuous interventions targeting key influences to provide empirical research support for areas facing similar situations.

Grain boundaries,including low-angle,high-angle,and coinci-dence boundaries,are intrinsic interfaces in polycrystalline *** heat-treatment at sufficiently high temperatures,grain boundary migration occurs because the grain boundaries are ther-modynamically ***,grain growth occurs due to a decrease in grain boundary area after heat-treatment[1].In general,there are two types of grain growth:normal grain growth,where grains grow uniformly,and abnormal grain growth,where one or a few grains selectively grow and engulf surround-ing smaller grains,leading to the formation of large grains,some-times several millimeters or greater in size[2].The classical tech-nique to achieve abnormal grain growth is the strain-annealing method,which involves subjecting the material to a small strain followed by annealing[3,4].This method has been reported to ob-tain single-crystal wires or plates[1].Additionally,abnormal grain growth can be achieved by plastic straining at high temperatures,resulting in the fabrication of large grains or single crystals[5].However,the above methods are not applicable to components with complicated shapes due to the inevitable deformation ***,Omori et *** a simply method of abnor-mal grain growth to fabricate ultra-large grains,even single crys-tals,in Cu-Al-Mn[1],Fe-Mn-Al-Ni[2],and Fe-Mn-Al-Ni-Cr[6]*** method involves applying cyclic heat treatment between a high temperature BCC single-phase region and a low tempera-ture BCC+FCC two-phase region[1,2,6-12].Note that the cyclic heat treatment resulted in the formation of BCC sub-grain struc-tures responsible for abnormal grain growth[1,2,6-12].In addition,yang et *** that abnormal grain growth occurred at above 900℃,and large-grains,even single crystals,were obtained only through annealing cast Cu-based polycrystalline alloys contained coherent nano-particles[13,14].Notably,the cyclic heat treatment and annealing cast alloys are deform
