Application of organic manure as a potential strategy to alleviate the limitation of microbial resources in soybean rhizospheric and bulk soils

The development and vigor of soil microorganisms in terrestrial ecosystems are frequently constrained by the limited availability of essential elements such as carbon(C),nitrogen(N),and phosphorus(P).In this study,we investigated the impact of long-term application of varying levels of organic manure,low(7.5 Mg ha^(−1)yr^(−1)),moderate(15.0 Mg ha^(−1)yr^(−1)),and high(22.5 Mg ha^(−1)yr^(−1)),on the stoichiometry of enzymes and the structures of the microbial communities in soybean rhizospheric and bulk *** main goal of this research was to examine how soil microbial resource limitations in the rhizosphere respond to different long-term fertilization *** soil enzymatic activities were quantified,and the structure of the microbial community was assessed by analyzing phospholipid fatty acid *** compared to the bulk soil,the rhizospheric soil had significant increases in microbial biomass carbon(MBC),nitrogen(MBN),and phosphorus(MBP),with MBC increasing by 54.19 to 72.86%,MBN by 47.30 to 48.17%,and MBP by 17.37 to 208.47%.Compared with the unfertilized control(CK),the total microbial biomasses of the rhizospheric(increased by 22.80 to 90.82%)and bulk soils(increased by 10.57 to 60.54%)both exhibited increases with the application of organic manure,and the rhizospheric biomass was higher than that of bulk *** with bulk soil,the activities of C-,N-and P-acquiring enzymes of rhizospheric soil increased by 22.49,14.88,and 29.45%under high levels of organic manure,*** of vector length,vector angle,and scatter plots revealed that both rhizospheric and bulk soils exhibited limitations in terms of both carbon(C)and phosphorus(P)*** results of partial least-squares path modelling indicated that the rhizospheric soil exhibited a more pronounced response to the rate of manure application than the bulk *** varying reactions of rhizospheric and bulk soils to the extended application of organic manure underscore

Hyperpolarized^(3)He nuclei have emerged as a significantly important approach in quantum precision measurement techniques,with extensive applications in fundamental physics,magnetometry,metrology,and *** this study,we report on the design and implementation of a^(3)He polarization system at the China Mianyang Research Reactor(CMRR),utilizing the metastabilityexchange optical pumping(MEOP)*** employed a Merritt coil system consisting of four square coils to furnish a uniform holding *** deployed a 2 W fiber laser to pump the metastable^(3)He atoms and conducted free induction decay(FID)detection of the polarized^(3)He nuclei using both pickup coil and optical *** the optical method,we used a50 m W linearly polarized distributed Bragg reflector(DBR)laser as the *** applied transverse light absorption polarimetry to measure the absolute nuclear polarization of the ground-state^(3)*** have developed cell fabrication capabilities at the CMRR,and cells at various pressures ranging from 100 to 1000 Pa have been fabricated and *** a typical borosilicate cell with 100 Pa pressure,the absolute polarization is measured as Pn≈70%,and the transverse relaxation time is estimated as T2≈0.5 ***,we constructed a few aluminosilicate cells,each carefully filled with pure^(3)He at a pressure of 100 ***,we conducted a comprehensive evaluation of their performance in the context of MEOP.

Identification of key genes regulating the synthesis of quercetin derivatives in Rosa roxburghii through integrated transcriptomics and metabolomics

Rosa roxburghii fruit is rich in flavonoids, but little is known about their biosynthetic pathways. In this study, we employed transcriptomics and metabolomics to study changes related to the flavonoids at five different stages of R. roxburghii fruit development. Flavonoids and the genes related to their biosynthesis were found to undergo significant changes in abundance across different developmental stages, and numerous quercetin derivatives were identified. We found three gene expression modules that were significantly associated with the abundances of the different flavonoids in R. roxburghii and identified three structural UDP-glycosyltransferase genes directly involved in the synthesis of quercetin derivatives within these modules. In addition, we found that RrBEH4, RrLBD1 and RrPIF8could significantly increase the expression of downstream quercetin derivative biosynthesis genes. Taken together,these results provide new insights into the metabolism of flavonoids and the accumulation of quercetin derivatives in R. roxburghii.

Comparison of Rotating Stall Warning by Different Methods for Variable Speed Configurations in a Contra-Rotating Compressor

Stall in compressors can cause performance degradation and even lead to *** unacceptable consequences can be avoided by timely monitoring stall inception and taking effective *** paper focused on the rotating stall warning in a low-speed axial contra-rotating ***,the stall disturbance characteristics under different speed configurations were *** results showed that as the speed ratio(RR)increased,the stall disturbance propagation speed based on the rear rotor speed gradually ***,the standard deviation(SD)method,the cross-correlation(CC)method,and the discrete wavelet transform(DWT)method were employed to obtain the stall initiation moments of three different speed *** was found that the SD and CC methods did not achieve significant stall warning results in all three speed ***,the stall initiation moment obtained by the DWT method at RR=1.125 was one period after the stall had fully developed,which was ***,a stall warning method was developed in the present work based on the long short-term memory(LSTM)regression *** applying the LSTM model,the predicted stall initiation moments of three speed configurations were at the 557th,518th,and 333rd revolution,which were44,2,and 74 revolutions ahead of stall onset moments,***,in scenarios where a minor disturbance preceded the stall,the stall warning effect of the LSTM was greatly improved in comparison with the aforementioned three *** contrast,when the pressure fluctuation before the stall was relatively small,the differences between the stall initiation moments predicted by these four methods were not significant.

Lamellar quasi-solid electrolyte with nanoconfined deep eutectic solvent for high-performance lithium battery

Electrolytes with high-efficiency lithium-ion transfer and reliable safety are of great importance for lithium *** having superior ionic conductivity(10^(−3)–10^(−2) S·cm^(−1)),traditional liquid-state electrolytes always suffer from low lithium-ion transference number(tLi+1 nm interlayer channel of vermiculite(Vr)lamellar framework to fabricate a quasi-solid electrolyte(Vr-DES QSE).We demonstrate that the nanoconfinement effect of interlayer channel could facilitate the opening of solvation shell around ***,the interaction from channel wall could inhibit the movement of *** enable high-efficiency lithium-ion transfer:2.61×10^(−4)S·cm^(−1)at 25℃.Importantly,the tLi+value reaches 0.63,which is 4.5 times of that of bulk DES,and much higher than most present liquid/quasi-solid *** addition,Vr-DES QSE shows significantly improved interfacial stability with Li anode as compared with *** assembled Li symmetric cell can operate stably for 1000 h at 0.1 mA·cm^(−2).The lithium iron phosphate(LFP)|Vr-DES QSE|Li cell exhibits high capacity of 142.1 mAh·g^(−1)after 200 cycles at 25℃ and 0.5 C,with a capacity retention of 94.5%.The strategy of open solvation shell through nanoconfinement effect of lamellar framework may shed light on the development of advanced electrolytes.

A computational model to identify fertility-related proteins using sequence information

Fertility is the most crucial step in the development process,which is controlled by many fertility-related proteins,including spermatogenesis-,oogenesis-and embryogenesis-related *** identification of fertility-related proteins can provide important clues for studying the role of these proteins in ***,in this study,we constructed a two-layer classifier to identify fertility-related *** this classifier,we first used the composition of amino acids(AA)and their physical and chemical properties to code these three fertility-related ***,the feature set is optimized by analysis of variance(ANOVA)and incremental feature selection(IFS)to obtain the optimal feature *** five-fold cross-validation(CV)and independent data tests,the performance of models constructed by different machine learning(ML)methods is evaluated and ***,based on support vector machine(SVM),we obtained a two-layer model to classify three fertility-related *** the independent test data set,the accuracy(ACC)and the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve(AUC)of the first layer classifier are 81.95%and 0.89,respectively,and them of the second layer classifier are 84.74%and 0.90,*** results show that the proposed model has stable performance and satisfactory prediction accuracy,and can become a powerful model to identify more fertility related proteins.

Nonlinear proinflammatory effect of short-term PM_(2.5)exposure:A potential role of lipopolysaccharide

The association between PM_(2.5)(particulate matter≤2.5μm)short-term exposure and its health effect is non-linear from the epidemiological *** this nonlinearity is suggested to be related with the PM_(2.5)heterogeneity,however,the underlying biological mechanism is still ***,a total of 38 PM_(2.5)filters were collected continuously for three weeks in winter Beijing,with the ambient PM_(2.5)varying between 10 and 270μg/m^(3).Human monocytes-derived macrophages(THP-1)were treated with PM_(2.5)water-soluble elutes at10μg/mL to investigate the PM_(2.5)short-term exposure effect from a proinflammatory *** proinflammatory cytokine tumor necrosis factor(TNF)induced by the PM_(2.5)elutes at equal concentrations were unequal,showing the heterogeneity of PM_(2.5)proinflammatory *** the various chemical and biological components,lipopolysaccharide(LPS)showed a strong positive association with the TNF ***,some outliers were observed among the TNF-LPS ***,for PM_(2.5)from relatively clean air episodes,the higher LPS amount corresponded to relatively low TNF *** this phenomenon was also observed in the promotion tests by treating macrophages with PM_(2.5)elutes dosed with additional trace *** expression analysis indicated the involvement of oxidative-stress related genes in the LPS signaling ***,a potential oxidative-stress-mediated suppression on the PM_(2.5)-borne LPS proinflammatory effect was proposed to be accounted for the ***,the results showed the differential role of LPS in the heterogeneity of PM_(2.5)proinflammatory effects from a component-based *** experimental studies are needed to elucidate the signaling pathway of LPS attached on PM_(2.5)from different air quality episodes.

Efficient stochastic parallel gradient descent training for on-chip optical processor

In recent years,space-division multiplexing(SDM)technology,which involves transmitting data information on multiple parallel channels for efficient capacity scaling,has been widely used in fiber and free-space optical communication *** enable flexible data management and cope with the mixing between different channels,the integrated reconfig-urable optical processor is used for optical switching and mitigating the channel ***,efficient online train-ing becomes intricate and challenging,particularly when dealing with a significant number of *** we use the stochastic parallel gradient descent(SPGD)algorithm to configure the integrated optical processor,which has less com-putation than the traditional gradient descent(GD)*** design and fabricate a 6×6 on-chip optical processor on silicon platform to implement optical switching and descrambling assisted by the online training with the SPDG ***,we apply the on-chip processor configured by the SPGD algorithm to optical communications for optical switching and efficiently mitigating the channel crosstalk in SDM *** comparison with the traditional GD al-gorithm,it is found that the SPGD algorithm features better performance especially when the scale of matrix is large,which means it has the potential to optimize large-scale optical matrix computation acceleration chips.
