Multi-cluster tools are widely used in majority of wafer fabrication processes in semiconductor industry. Smaller lot production, thinner circuit width in wafers, larger wafer size, and maintenance have resulted in a large quantity of their start-up and close-down transient periods. Yet, most of existing efforts have been concentrated on scheduling their steady *** from such efforts, this work schedules their transient and steady-state periods subject to wafer residency constraints. It gives the schedulability conditions for the steady-state scheduling of dual-blade robotic multi-cluster tools and a corresponding algorithm for finding an optimal schedule. Based on the robot synchronization conditions, a linear program is proposed to figure out an optimal schedule for a start-up period, which ensures a tool to enter the desired optimal steady state. Another linear program is proposed to find an optimal schedule for a closedown period that evolves from the steady state period. Finally,industrial cases are presented to illustrate how the provided method outperforms the existing approach in terms of system throughput improvement.

Using the experimentally known aromatic icosahedral superatoms I_(h)B_(12)H_(12)2−and D_(5d)1,12-C_(2)B_(10)H_(12)as building blocks and based on extensive density functional theory calculations,we predict herein a series of core–shell superpolyhedral boranes and carboranes in a bottom-up approach,including the high-symmetry Th B_(12)@B_(152)H_(72)2−(2),C2h C_(2)B_(10)@B_(152)H_(72)(3),D_(3d)B_(12)@B_(144)H_(66)(4),I_(h)B_(12)@C_(24)B_(12)0H_(72)2−(6),and D_(5d)C_(2)B_(10)@C_(24)B_(12)0H_(72)(7).More interestingly,the superatom-assembled linear D2h B_(36)H_(32)^(2−)(8),close-packed planar D_(3d)B_(84)H_(60)^(2−)(10),and nearly close-packed core−shell D_(3d)B_(12)@B144H_(6)6(4)can be extended periodically to form the one-dimensional(1D)α-rhombohedral borane nanowire B_(12)H_(10)(Pmmm)(9),two-dimensional(2D)α-rhombohedral monolayer borophane B_(12)H_(6)(P m1)(11),and the experimentally known three-dimensional(3D)α-rhombohedral boron(R m)(12)which can be viewed as an assembly of the monolayer B_(12)H_(6)(11)staggered in vertical direction,setting up a bottom-up strategy to form low-dimensional boron-based nanomaterials from their borane“seeds”via partial or complete *** bonding analyses indicate that the high stability of these nanostructures originates from the spherical aromaticity of their icosahedral B_(12)or C_(2)B_(10)structural units which possess the universal skeleton electronic configuration of 1S21P61D101F8 following the Wade’s n+1 *** infrared(IR)and Raman spectra of the most-concerned neutral B_(12)@B144H_(6)6(4)and C_(2)B_(10)@C_(24)B_(12)0H_(72)(7)are computationally simulated to facilitate their experimental characterizations.

This paper presents an experimental investigation of effects of a kind of streamwise-grooved blades on the flowfield in a compressor *** flow field downstream the cascade and the boundary layer on the suctionsurface were measured using a mini 5-hole pressure probe at different incidence *** flow field in thegroove cascade was compared with that in the smooth *** measurement results indicate that:(1)thegroove surface can restrain the development of the boundary layer on the suction surface;(2)the grooves canrestrain the radial migration of the low-energy fluids in the boundary layer on the suction surface;(3)the grooveblades can reduce total pressure loss and flow blockage in the cascade at the incidence angles of 0°,5°and 8°;(4)the maximum benefit of 8.6% loss reduction was obtained at the incidence angle of 5° while negative benefit of-3.0% loss reduction occurred at the incidence angle of-5°.

Eolian dust deposition is intimately related to atmospheric circulation and environmental setting of the source region,and therefore is an invaluable tool for studying the evolutionary history of atmospheric circulation patterns and paleoclimatic *** the provenance of any eolian deposit is crucial not only for reconstructing the paleoenvironmental history of the dust source region,but also for understanding the paleoclimatic significance of various *** and paleosol samples from the Garze region on the eastern margin of the Tibetan Plateau （TP） were analyzed for their elemental （major and trace elements） and isotopic （Sm-Nd） geochemistry and compared with those of Northern Chinese （NC） loess formed at the same *** results show that the geochemical compositions of the Garze loess and paleosol samples are similar to those eolian deposits on the Chinese Loess Plateau （CLP）,and also resemble the average *** indicates that the eolian deposits on the eastern margin of the TP were derived from well-mixed sedimentary protoliths that had undergone numerous upper crustal recycling processes,just as with the CLP loess ***,compared with NC loess,the Garze samples have higher ∑REE,Li,Rb,Zr,Cs,Hf and Bi concentrations,higher TiO2/Al2O3,Hf/Nb,La/Nb,Th/Nb and lower K2O/TiO2,Zr/Hf,Ba/Rb *** the Sm-Nd isotopic geochemistry,εNd（0） and 147Sm/144Nd values of Garze loess and paleosol samples are clearly lower than the NC *** higher Bi,Zr and Hf concentrations are relevant to the widely distributed acid-magmatic rocks in this region,whereas the higher contents of Li,Cs,Rb are attributed to the high background values of the *** geochemical characteristics of the Garze loess and paleosol samples further prove that the local glacial and other Quaternary detrital sediments are predominantly the contributors for the eolian deposits on the eastern margin of the *** element concentrations and their ratios in the Garze loess and

Algebraic immunity is an important cryptographic property of Boolean functions. In this paper, odd-variable balanced Boolean functions with optimal algebraic immunity are obtained by m-sequence and consequently, we get bases with special constructions of vector space. Furthermore, through swapping some vectors of these two bases, we establish all kinds of odd-variable balanced Boolean functions with optimal algebraic immunity.

The molecular recognition based on cyclodextrins(CDs) has become a focus of interest in modern supramolecular *** are known to encapsulate various ions and organic/inorganic molecules in their hydrophobic cavities and form stable inclusion complexes through cooperative noncovalent interactions. During the past few decades, a large variety of modified CDs have been elaborately designed and synthesized, which significantly promotes our molecular-level understanding of the structure–function relationship in many supramolecular systems. Through the accurate analysis on the molecular binding behaviors, one can create a library of CD-based nanoassemblies with controlled physicochemical properties. In this review, we will focus on the stability constant-directed molecular recognition and the biological activities of β-CDs toward some representative bioactive substrates, including metal ions, steroids, porphyrins, amino acids and oligopeptides, as well as drug molecules, with the final goal of promoting their practical applications in the biomedical field.
