Oils with different degree of saturation:effects on ileal digestibility of fat and corresponding additivity and bacterial community in growing pigs

Background Oils are important sources of energy in pig *** combination of oils with different degree of saturation contributes to improve the utilization efficiency of the mixed oils and may reduce the cost of oil *** experiment was conducted to evaluate the effects of oils with different degree of saturation on the fat digestibility and corresponding additivity and bacterial community in growing *** Eighteen crossbred(Duroc×Landrace×Yorkshire)barrows(initial body weight:29.3±2.8 kg)were surgically fitted with a T-cannula in the distal *** experimental diets included a fat-free basal diet and 5 oil-added *** 5 oil-added diets were formulated by adding 6%oil with different ratio of unsaturated to saturated fatty acids(U:S)to the basal *** 5 oils were palm oil(U:S=1.2),canola oil(U:S=12.0),and palm oil and canola oil were mixed in different proportions to prepare a combination of U:S of 2.5,3.5 and 4.5,*** The apparent and standardized ileal digestibility(AID and SID)of fat and fatty acids increased linearly(P<0.05)as the U:S of dietary oils increased except for SID of fat and C18:*** AID and SID of fat and fatty acids differed among the dietary treatments(P<0.05)except for SID of unsaturated fatty acids(UFA)and C18:*** one-slope broken-line analyses for the SID of fat,saturated fatty acids(SFA)and UFA indicated that the breakpoint for U:S of oil was 4.14(R^(2)=0.89,P<0.01),2.91(R^(2)=0.98,P<0.01)and 3.84(R^(2)=0.85,P<0.01),*** determined SID of fat,C18:1,C18:2 and UFA in the mixtures was not different from the calculated SID of fat,C18:1,C18:2 and ***,the determined SID of C16:0,C18:0 and SFA in the mixtures were greater than the calculated SID values(P<0.05).The abundance of Romboutsia and Turicibacter in pigs fed diet containing palm oil was greater than that in rapeseed oil treatment group,and the two bacteria were negatively correlated with SID of C16:0,C18:0 and SFA(P<0.05).

To achieve carbon neutrality,the Chinese government needs to gain a comprehensive understanding of the sources and drivers of greenhouse gas(GHG)emissions,particularly at the county *** County in eastern China is a typical example of an industrial transformation from quarrying to a low-carbon *** study analyzed the decoupling types and structural characteristics of GHG emissions and the driving factors of carbon dioxide(CO_(2))emissions in the Anji from 2006 to 2019,and explored the differences between countylevel and provincial-level or city-level *** was observed that energy-related activities are the main source of GHG emissions in Anji and that economic development is the driving factor behind the increasing CO_(2)***,industrial transformation and upgradation coupled with the alternative use of clean energy limit the growth of GHG *** study details the GHG emissions of county during the industrial transformation stage and provides corresponding policy recommendations for county governments.

Low-cycle fatigue behavior of solutionized and aged WE43 magnesium alloys at room temperature

The low-cycle fatigue behavior of solutionized(T4)and aged(T6)WE43 magnesium alloys was studied at room *** total strain amplitudes(△ε_(t)/2)were 0.4%,0.5%,0.6%,0.7%and 1.0%.Detailed microstructure evolution was characterized by scanning electron microscope(SEM),electron backscattered diffraction(EBSD)and transmission electron microscopy(TEM).The results showed that plastic strain amplitude decreased with the increasing cycle number in T4 alloy,which is due to the dense persistent slip bands(PSBs)and dynamic precipitates hinderingdislocation *** contrast,the plastic strain amplitude increases gradually in T6 alloy,which is attributed to the enhanced activation of pyramidal *** low-cycle fatigue life of T6 alloy with larger fatigue ductility coefficient is longer than that of T4 *** Coffin-Manson model can accurately predict the fatigue life of T4 and T6 alloys compared to Jahed-Varvani(JV)energy *** T4 alloy,the fatigue damage mechanism was dominated by basal *** T6 alloy,the enhanced pyramidal slip plays an important role to accommodate plastic deformation.

Theoretical screening of cooperative N-bridged dual-atom sites for efficient electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction with remolding insight

The electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction reaction(e-NRR)is a promising alternative method for the Haber–Bosch ***,it still faces many challenges in searching for high activity,stability,and selectivity catalysts and ascertaining the catalytic mechanism with complete ***,a series of graphene-based N-bridged dual-atom catalysts(M1-N-M2/NC)are systematically investigated via first-principle calculation and a high-throughput screening *** result unveils that N_(2) adsorption on M1-N-M2/NC in bridge-on adsorption mode can effectively break the scaling relationship on single-atom catalysts(SACs).Moreover,V-N-Ru/NC and V-N-Os/NC are systematically screened out as promising e-NRR catalysts,with extremely low limiting potentials of-0.20 and-0.18 V,***,the adsorption site competition between*N_(2) and*H,as well as the competitive twin reactions of hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)on intermediates(N_(n)H_(m))during the e-NRR process,is systematically evaluated to form a remodeling insight for the reactions in mechanism,and the e-NRR of new proposed dual-atom catalysts(DACs)is strategically optimized for its high-efficiency performance potential via our remolding insight in e-NRR *** work provides new ideas and insights for the design and mechanism of e-NRR catalysts and an effective strategy for rapidly screening highly efficient e-NRR catalysts.

Multi-blade rubbing characteristics of the shaft-disk-blade-casing system with large rotation

Blade rubbing faults cause detrimental impact on the operation of aeroengines. Most of the existing studies on blade rubbing in the shaft-disk-blade-casing(SDBC) system have overlooked the elastic deformation of the blade, while some only consider the whirl of the rotor, neglecting its spin. To address these limitations, this paper proposes a dynamic model with large rotation for the SDBC system. The model incorporates the spin and whirl of the rotor, enabling the realistic reproduction of multiblade rubbing faults. To verify the accuracy of the SDBC model with large rotation and demonstrate its capability to effectively consider the rotational effects such as the centrifugal stiffening and gyroscopic effects, the natural characteristics and dynamic responses of the proposed model are compared with those obtained from reported research and experimental results. Furthermore, the effects of the rotating speed, contact stiffness,and blade number on the dynamic characteristics of the SDBC system with multi-blade rubbing are investigated. The results indicate that the phase angle between the rotor deflection and the unbalance excitation force increases with the increasing rotating speed,which significantly influences the rubbing penetration of each blade. The natural frequency of the SDBC system with rubbing constrain can be observed in the acceleration response of the casing and the torsional response of the shaft, and the frequency is related to the contact stiffness. Moreover, the vibration amplitude increases significantly with the product of the blade number under rubbing, and the rotating frequency approaches the natural frequency of the SDBC system. The proposed model can provide valuable insight for the fault diagnosis of rubbing in bladed rotating machinery.

Extracting photovoltaic(PV)model parameters based on the measured voltage and current information is crucial in the simulation and management of PV *** accurately and reliably extract the unknown parameters of different PV models,this paper proposes an improved multi-verse optimizer that integrates an iterative chaos map and the Nelder–Mead simplex method,*** experiments verified that the proposed INMVO fueled by both mechanisms has more affluent populations and a more reasonable balance between exploration and ***,to verify the feasibility and competitiveness of the proposal,this paper employed INMVO to extract the unknown parameters on single-diode,double-diode,three-diode,and PV module four well-known PV models,and the high-performance techniques are selected for *** addition,the Wilcoxon signed-rank and Friedman tests were employed to test the experimental results *** evaluation metrics,such as root means square error,relative error,absolute error,and statistical test,demonstrate that the proposed INMVO works effectively and accurately to extract the unknown parameters on different PV models compared to other *** addition,the capability of INMVO to stably and accurately extract unknown parameters was also verified on three commercial PV modules under different irradiance and *** conclusion,the proposal in this paper can be implemented as an advanced and reliable tool for extracting the unknown parameters of different PV *** that the source code of INMVO is available at https://***/woniuzuioupao/INMVO.

Rotating Massive Strangeon Stars and X-Ray Plateau of Short GRBs

Strangeon stars,which are proposed to describe the nature of pulsar-like compact stars,have passed various observational *** maximum mass of a non-rotating strangeon star could be high,which implies that the remnants of binary strangeon star mergers could even be long-lived massive strangeon *** study rigidly rotating strangeon stars in the slowly rotating approximation,using the Lennard-Jones model for the equation of *** can significantly increase the maximum mass of strangeon stars with unchanged baryon numbers,enlarging the mass-range of long-lived strangeon *** spin-down after merger,the decrease of radius of the remnant will lead to the release of gravitational *** into account the efficiency of converting the gravitational energy luminosity to the observed X-ray luminosity,we find that the gravitational energy could provide an alternative energy source for the plateau emission of X-ray *** fitting results of X-ray plateau emission of some short gamma-ray bursts suggest that the magnetic dipole field strength of the remnants can be much smaller than that of expected when the plateau emission is powered only by spin-down luminosity of magnetars.

Rotor cross-tilt optimization for yaw control improvement of multi-rotor eVTOL aircraft

Manned multi-rotor electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing(eVTOL)aircraft is prone to actuator saturation due to its weak yaw control *** address this inherent problem,a rotor cross-tilt configuration is applied in this paper,with an optimization method proposed to improve the overall control efficiency of the ***,a flight dynamics model of a 500-kg manned multi-rotor eVTOL aircraft is *** accuracy of the co-axial rotor model is verified using a single arm test bench,and the accuracy of the flight dynamics model is verified by the flight test ***,an optimization method is designed based on the flight dynamics model to calculate an optimal rotor cross-tilt mounting angle,which not only improves the yaw control efficiency,but also basically maintains the efficiency of other control *** ideal rotor cross-tilt mounting angle for the prototype is determined by comprehensively considering the optimal results with different payloads,forward flight speeds,and rotor mounting angle ***,the feasibility of the rotor cross-tilt mounting angle is proved by analyzing the control derivatives of the flight dynamics model,the test data of a ground three Degree-of-Freedom(3DOF)platform,and the actual flight data of the *** results show that a fixed rotor cross-tilt mounting angle can achieve ideal yaw control effectiveness,improving yaw angle tracking and hold ability,increasing endurance time,and achieving good yaw control performance with different payloads and forward speeds.

Regulation role of miR-204 on SIRT1/VEGF in metabolic memory induced by high glucose in human retinal pigment epithelial cells

AIM:To examine the regulatory role of microRNA-204(miR-204)on silent information regulator 1(SIRT1)and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)under highglucose-induced metabolic memory in human retinal pigment epithelial(hRPE)***:Cells were cultured with either normal(5 mmol/L)or high D-glucose(25 mmol/L)concentrations for 8d to establish control and high-glucose groups,*** induce metabolic memory,cells were cultured with 25 mmol/L D-glucose for 4d followed by culture with 5 mmol/L D-glucose for *** addition,exposed in 25 mmol/L D-glucose for 4d and then transfected with 100 nmol/L miR-204 control,miR-204 inhibitor or miR-204 mimic in 5 mmol/L D-glucose for *** reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR)was used to detect miR-204 mRNA ***1 and VEGF protein levels were assessed by immunohistochemical and Western *** cytometry was used to investigate apoptosis ***:It was found that high glucose promoted miR-204 and VEGF expression,and inhibited SIRT1 activity,even after the return to normal glucose culture *** of miR-204 promoted apoptosis inhibiting SIRT1 and increasing VEGF ***,downregulation of miR-204 produced the opposite ***:The study identifies that miR-204 is the upstream target of SIRT1and VEGF,and that miR-204 can protect hRPE cells from the damage caused by metabolic memory through increasing SIRT1 and inhibiting VEGF expression.
