Boreal forests commonly suff er from nitrogen defi ciency due to low rate of nitrogen *** may promote soil organic matter decomposition and accelerate nitrogen *** this study,Illumina NovaSeq sequencing combined with functional annotation of prokaryotic taxa(FAPROTAX)analysis was used to investigate the eff ect of biochar pyrolysis temperatures,the amount of applied biochar,and the period since the biochar application(2-and 3-year)on soil bacterial *** results show that biochar pyrolysis temperatures(500℃ and 650℃)and the amount of applied biochar(0.5 kg m^(−2)and 1.0 kg m^(−2))did not change soil ***,the interaction of biochar pyrolysis temperature and the amount had signifi cant eff ects on bacterial species richness and evenness(Pyanobacteria,Conexibacter,and Phenylobacterium than that of 1.0 kg m^(−2)(P<0.05).Functionally,the abundance of the aromatic compound degradation group increased with the extension of application time and increase of pyrolysis *** time since application played an important role in the formation of soil bacterial communities and their functional ***-term studies are necessary to understand the consequence of biochar on bacterial communities in boreal forests.

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effectiveness of traditional Chinese herbal Xinglouchengqi(XLCQ)decoction for the treatment of constipation in acute ischemic stroke patients,and figure out the role that bowel movements play in the treatment of acute ischemic ***:A total of 317 eligible patients were recruited and randomized to the XLCQ group(211 patients)or the control group(106 patients).In addition to conventional standard medical care and rehabilitation,participants in the XLCQ group received XLCQ decoction,while the control group received clysis therapy using glycerin enemas or lactulose oral *** groups were given treatment for 3 to 6 d,during which they received daily visits to record defecation features and accompanying *** assessments using the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)were conducted before and 1 month after ***:Patients in the XLCQ group had lower aggregate constipation scores compared with the control group on days 3 and 5(P<0.05).Spontaneous bowel movements tended to reappear more rapidly after taking the XLCQ decoction than after conventional laxative *** the average aggregate constipation score and the time taken to achieve spontaneous bowel movements showed positive correlations with NIHSS scores before and1 month after treatment(P<0.01).CONCLUSION:Treatment with XLCQ decoction effectively alleviated the overall symptoms of constipation in acute ischemic stroke *** status of bowel movements in acute ischemic stroke can reflect the severity of neurological impairment and predict neurological outcomes at 1 month.

In this work,cobalt glycerate(CoG@F127)nanosheets grown on the surface of graphene oxide(GO),***@F127/GO,have been synthesized with the assistance of nonionic surfactant Pluronic F127 via a hydrothermal *** calcination,CoG@F127/GO is transformed into one derivative,Co nanoparticles coated with a trace amount of carbon(Co-C)on GO(Co-C/GO).The Co nanoparticles consist of an atypical core-shell structure,in which the core and the shell are both ***-C anchored on GO can avoid the nanoparticles aggregation and expose more active sites for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)to significantly improve the catalyst activity of ***@F127/GO is phosphatized to form the other derivate,cobalt pyrophosphate coated with a small amount of carbon(Co_(2)P_(2)O_(7)-C)on GO(Co_(2)P_(2)O_(7)-C/GO).Co_(2)P_(2)O_(7)-C/GO composite owns a large electrochemical active surface area(ECSA)and fast rate towards oxygen evolution reaction(OER).Furthermore,the two derivatives of CoG@F127/GO,***-C/GO and Co_(2)P_(2)O_(7)-C/GO as twin flowers,are assembled into an overall water splitting electrolytic cell with a cell voltage of 1.56 V to deliver a current density of 10 mA cm^(-2).

Two methods of absorption imaging to detect cold atoms in a magnetic trap are implemented for a high-precision cold atom *** the first method,a probe laser which is in resonance with a cycle transition frequency is used to evaluate the quantity and distribution of the atom *** the second method,the probe laser is tuned to an open transition frequency,which stimulates a few and constant number of photons per *** method has a shorter interaction time and results in absorption images which are not affected by the magnetic field and the light *** make a comparison of performance between these two imaging methods in the sense of parameters such as pulse duration,light intensity,and magnetic field *** experimental results show that the second method is more reliable when detecting the quantity and density profiles of the *** results fit well to the theoretical analysis.

AIM:To compare postoperative quality of life (QOL) in patients with gastric cancer treated by esophagogastrostomy reconstruction after proximal ***: QOL assessments that included functional outcomes (a 24-item survey about treatment-specific symptoms) and health perception (Spitzer QOL Index) were performed in 149 patients with gastric cancer in the upper third of the stomach, who had received proximal gastrectomy with additional ***: Fifty-four patients underwent reconstruction by esophagogastric anterior wall end-to-side anastomosis combined with pyloroplasty (EA group); 45 patients had reconstruction by esophagogastric posterior wall end-to-side anastomosis (EP group); and 50 patients had reconstruction by esophagogastric end-to-end anastomosis (EE group). The EA group showed the best postoperative QOL, such as recovery of body weight, less discomfort after meals, and less heart burn or belching at 6 and 24 mo postoperatively. However, the survival rates, surgical results and Spitzer QOL index were similar among the three ***: Postoperative QOL was better in the EA than EP or EE group. To improve QOL after proximal gastrectomy for upper third gastric cancer, the EA procedure using a stapler is safe and feasible for esophagogastrostomy.

AIM: To compare the efficacy and safety of chemoem-bolization alone or chemoembolization combined with hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy(HAIC),including oxaliplatin(OXA),5-fluorouracil(5-FU) and folinic acid(CF),in inoperable hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) without distant metastasis. METHODS: Eighty-four inoperable HCC patients were enrolled. Thirty-ninepatient sunderwent chemoembolization alone,and the other 45 patients underwent chemoembolization + HAIC(OXA/5-FU/CF) treatment non-randomly. The progression free survival(PFS),objective response rate(ORR),disease control rate(DCR) and adverse reactions were compared between the two ***: A significant difference in the ORR was observed between the chemoembolization alone and chemoembolization + HAIC groups. There was no statistically significant difference in DCR between the two groups. The median PFS(m PFS) showed a significant difference between the two groups. For patients with BCLC stage A/B disease,with or without vessel invasion,the chemoembolization + HAIC group showed better m PFS when compared to chemoembolization alone,but no significant difference was found in patients with BCLC stage C disease. The parameter of pain(grade Ⅲ-Ⅳ) in the chemoembolization + HAIC group was increased statistically. CONCLUSION: Chemoembolization combined with HAIC with OXA/5-FU/CF may be safe and more effective than chemoembolization alone for inoperable HCC patients without distant metastasis.

Disaster weather forecasting is becoming increasingly important. In this paper, the trajectories of Mesoscale Convective Systems （MCSs） were automatically tracked over the Chinese Tibetan Plateau using Geostationary Meteorological Satellite （GMS） brightness temperature （Tbb） from June to August 1998, and the MCSs are classified according to their movement direction. Based on these, spatial data mining methods are used to study the relationships between MCSs trajectories and their environmental physical field values. Results indicate that at 400hPa level, the trajectories of MCSs moving across the 105°E boundary are less influenced by water vapor flux divergence, vertical wind velocity, reIative humidity and K index. In addition, if the gravity central longitude locations of MCSs are between 104°E and 105°E, then geopotential height and wind divergence are two main factors in movement causation. On the other hand, at 500hPa level, the trajectories of MCSs in a north-east direction are mainly influenced by K index and water vapor flux divergence when their central locations are less than 104°E. However, the MCSs moving in an east and south-east direction are influenced by a few correlation factors at this level.

We propose a built-in fault-tolerant geometric operation to realize fast remote entanglement between superconducting qubits anchored to a 15 m K plate and Rydberg-atom qubits trapped near a 1 K plate via thermal coupled cavities. We show that this operation is robust against the detrimental effects of the thermal mode states and fluctuations in the control parameters. The operation can generate a high-fidelity entanglement between superconducting and atomic qubits under realistic experimental parameters, comparable to the results of the existing methods using auxiliary cooling systems. The scheme proposed here will promote the development of quantum network and distributed superconducting quantum computation.
